Dirty Little Secrets
-She actually gets a thrill out of killing, she has become a bit of an adrenaline junkie because of this, but she does feel bad after her adrenaline high subsides, she wishes she could take it back, but she doesn’t try to think about it too much.

-She has been married twice, though the both husbands “mysteriously” disappeared…she actually had not to do with it…seriously!

Personality
Clarissa could be defined as beautifully insane, the perfect disaster, or hopelessly lovely. She is quite the contradiction really, she is absolutely beautiful, but completely destroyed. She has no love at all for anyone or anything. Her beauty is very misleading, she tends to lure guys in and she will use them, then once she knows they love her she will break their heart, she figures this way no one can ever hurt her again. She doesn’t trust anyone and is very untrustworthy herself. But, regardless of her wicked insanity she is actually a very sweet person which may be extremely hard to believe, she just hasn’t been shown love since she was a little girl and has forgotten how to love herself and everyone else. She has gained most of her insanity back, but that doesn’t mean she won’t kill you if you cross her the wrong way, she won’t even hesitate. She is very sarcastic and if she likes you, she will become protective, she is actually very protective of girls when it comes to guys. But deep down she wishes that a guy could see past all her issues to the real her. Also despite what she say or people think she actually has feelings...Shocker!

History
Clarissa was born of January 1st, 1685 in London England, to the very wealthy family, The Van Der Courtland’s. The family was well known in Europe, Brando Van Der Courtland, Clarissa’s father was a Duke of England. Their families’ wealth was only matched by the King and Queen. Her father did a lot of the Queen’s work putting him in high power. Though tragedy struck when Clarissa turned 7, by order of the Queen her family was to be executed, the Queen had been informed that Brando was a traitor, though it was not truth. With only minutes to spear her parents convinced her older brother to leave with Clarissa, to run and not stop for anyone, he did as he was told. The two barely escaped and watched as their parents were drug from their estate.

Image

The two once very wealthy Van Der Courtland children were now, poor and orphaned. Her brother only twelve tried his best to look out for his sister and protect, but eventually the two were separated. Her brother placed in a factory and she was placed in an orphanage, when asked her name the woman at the orphanage knew exactly who she was and for her own safety she changed the little girl’s last name to Epsilon. At ten after three years of living in the cold unwelcoming orphanage Clarissa was adopted, but her life would be no better, she was raped, beaten, and tortured by her drunken adopted father, for five years her adopted mother never tried to stop the abuse to the poor girl. At fifteen Clarissa had, had enough and she brutally murder both of her so called parents.

This awakened a side of Clarissa she liked, a dark untouchable side. She was no longer a helpless little girl, she had a taste for blood, something that wasn’t very becoming of a lady, but she could care less what society thought of her, she had nothing left to loose. For a while she went a bit insane, killing for the sport of it, her weapon of choice a flintlock, she became obsessed with guns learning every inch of them and becoming a sharpshooter, possible the best female sharpshooter of her time. She also became quite skilled in combat. Eventually her sanity had somewhat returned and she decided to headed to the “New World” she had done enough damage in Europe.

-She has a full blooded wolf, but she doesn't exactly remember how or where she got it, she wouldn't even really call him a pet, more of a companion, he follows her everywhere, she didn't want to give him a name but eventually she decided on Charlie

-She searched for her brother for a few years after she killed her adoptive parents but she could never find him. She misses him like crazy and wonders if he could help her, though she knows she’s a hopeless case.

To whom this may concern,
I am sending this letter on behave of our villages, I have been told that you are the best in your line of work and your assistance is desperately need. A man, a beast, a wolf…we aren’t sure what it is but it’s killing us…all of us. We can’t go out at night any more the full moon is the worst it takes ten to fifteen people at a time. Please I beg of you help rid us of this demon.
-Mark Dewitt, council member

Clarissa/Scott
Clarissa had read the letter at least thirty times now, she didn’t want to go, she didn’t owe anything to these people. She scoffed at the thought, how did they even know about her. She frowned gently as she laid back on her small bed, she had taken work at a small tavern in one of the bigger colonies. Not that she need the work, but she had nothing better to do and it came with a room. Besides it wasn’t like she was waiting on tables, all she was the bartender, she poured the drinks and having the reputation she did everyone knew better then to boss her or mess with her and if they didn’t they’d learn quickly. She closed her eyes inhaling, deep and slow, the musky made her want to sneeze, but she stopped herself before she did. She read over the letter again.

“A little adventure might be fun, plus it’s probably just some dog.” She finally decided.

She packed her stuff she was known for not staying in the same place for long. She made her way down stairs, the old man that owned the tavern was working the bar at the moment.

“Hey, Marty…I’m leaving.” She called to the old man who simply waved her off.

It was odd, it was like he knew she’d be back and she had left before, this seemed to be a place she knew she could return to and she liked that. A small smile played on her lips as she pushed the doors of the Tavern open. The clouds were gloomy and the air smelled like rain. She walked around the back side of the tavern and yet again a smile crept on to her pale pink lips, but this time more sinister as she Charlie chewing on a dead jack rabbit.

“You coming with me Chalie?” she asked as if the dog spoke English, the wolf paused and tilted it’s headed to the side before going back to its feast. She simply turned on her heels without another word and started off.

By the time she had made it back to the front of the building, Charlie had caught up, blood staining the tan hairs of his chin. She didn’t acknowledge the wolf though, she didn’t half to she simply continued to keep walking. Though she froze immediately grabbing one of her guns as she heard a loud racket from inside the bar followed by the doors opening up and two very large men throwing a very drunken young man out on his ass, landing right in front of Clarissa.

“Weelll, f’d isn’t thy beautiful whicch.” His word were slurred together, he was clearly drunk and more than anything Clarissa wanted to kill him for that name he always called her, witch, it just pissed her off so bad, but surprisingly she had just the smelliest hint of pity for him.

“Get up Scott, I don’t have time for your games.” She hissed kicking him, fairly hard.

He let out a groan as he stumbled a bit to stand up finally able to. Charlie left out a hair raising growl that even caught Clarissa off guard.

“Charlie hush.” She snapped at the wolf as she continued to walk already knowing Scott would follow her.

She had meet him a month ago, when she had first started hanging around at the tavern of course he tried to get in her pants, but the moment they were alone she practically beat the shit out of him, causing him to call her witch after he found out she stole his money and everything on him that night.

Clementine has recently moved in the village, shortly after her mother's death. After this devestating tragedy, the young woman needed a new life, a new beginning. She managed to move on with her life, but another problem was standing on her way - the lack of money and available jobs. That was until the letter reached her, which took her interest. However, this is way too dangerous, she might die too. Yet to think, if she didn't find a job soon, she would probably starve to death. Besides, Clementine had a chance to save people's lives after she couldn't save her mother's.

Clementine took her bow and arrows and went off. "Fighting alone against the beast is most likely a suicide. Maybe I should find other people who are willing to stop this madness and team up with them." she thought. A while later, Clemmie's attention was taken by a wolf that was chewing its pray. It was facinating to be observed, yet sad for the rabbit's fate. The zoologist then witnessed Clarissa and Scott's small conflict. It wasn't really surprising, as Clemmie has seen a lot of fights ever since she moved in.

Ten metres away a drunken man was about to hit a woman. Clementine rushed forward, pushed Clair and Scott away, kicked the man down and pointed an arrow at his eye. "GET OUT OF HERE!" she yelled with her whole wrath and force. The man ran away from that crazy girl. Clementine turned to the woman, who thanked her and ran away.

Diane yawned and stretched out her arms. In her hands was the letter that was sent to her. She read it over and then re-read it over again. She rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"What kind of letter is this?" She thought to herself. The mission seemed highly boring. But at least, she wouldn't have to kill a human. And if someone depended on her, she'd help them. She stuffed the letter in her pocket next to her set of daggers. Taking out her sword that she had taken from the boy who'd she'd never forget, she whispered into it. "Time for another one." She smiled and sheathed it in the cover than ran alongside her back that crossed the other sword that she carried. Three daggers and two swords all fit for her. Though her smile quickly turned into a frown as the warmth that radiated from the blade now was hidden under its cover.

She walked outside, letting the sunlight hit her. She saw Clarissa, Scott, and Clementine out in the open and she quickly gave a small smile and a wave to them. When Clementine threatened a man harshly, Diane couldn't help but to suppress a smile.

"Got the same letter?" She asked seeing as the were all huddled up into one group. She smelt the booze on Scott's breath and quickly crinkled into disgust. She said something under her breath in Spanish so that no one else could understand her. But you could probably hear from her tone, that it wasn't a pretty complement. Drinking was the a distraction, and Diana will never be distracted. She rolled her eyes at Scott and returned back to Clarissa and Clementine.

"Wonder, who else is going." She said more to herself than to the others.

Scott Smirked as the girl threatened him, then glanced seeing another girl approach them asking if they’d gotten a letter. “Wha doya say we take this cute lil party upstairs.” He laughed odiously too drunk to properly function at the moment and the mix of his Irish accent and slurred words made him a bit harder to understand. He stumbled his way over to the water barrel in front of the tavern and dunked his head in.

Clarissa glanced to the girl who seemed protective “Slow down sweetheart, wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself, the idiot is harmless. He’s a worthless drunk.” She hissed before glancing to Diana, she was about the only girl, person in general that she could actually put up with for long periods of time. “Yeah, I got a letter.” She sighed “I’m headed their now.” She said stated boredly not bothering to wait from the others to say or do anything she simply continued to walk in the direction of the village it was about a day’s travel from where they were.

“H…HEY!!!!” Scott called after Clarissa “I got a letter to.” He smirked Charlie growled as the man caught up with Clarissa “Well isn’t that lovely, you’re not traveling with me.” She said irritated.

“Ahh! Come on babe it will be fun! All of us traveling together.” He glanced back at the other girls “Come one ladies we have a town to save.” He smirked.

Clair was in no mood to argue and they really all were going to the same place anyways she decided it would be best if she didn’t say anything.

(OCC, no beasts yet lol, not till we get to the town atleast!)

Myra had decided on a plain blue gown that had a bodess embellished with gold string. She let her brown hair fall down her back in curly tendrils while she undid the strings covering her breasts just enough to tease anyone who peeked. Her maid, Marissa, lost no time trying to sway her otherwise. Like most people, Marissa thought Myra should stay right where she was. Through all her years, she had become the highest paid 'escort' in the business. She didn't even have to screw anyone to get paid but prostitution wasn't exactly what Myra had in mind for her life plan. Then again, neither was fighting, but she had almost earned as much in fighting as she did in her evening activities. Along with teaching private students, she would surely earn more. Especially with this mission. The publicity would skyrocket her profits.

Stepping into her carriage, she felt giddy. A new satin dress was about to become hers and she had just made the last payment on her two story house outside of town. Yes, today would be a thrilling one. Town was bustling with people and a group had caught her eye. She hadn't seen them before and they were all showing off the same letters. Slipping her hand into her pocket, she felt her invitation which looked similar to theirs. Myra didn't think they appeared like sufficient killers, but she didn't either.

After purchasing the blush colored gown, she walked outside and placed her hands on her hips, debating whether or not she should talk to them. She could feel her dagger on her lower back so she knew she was prepared...

Vincent stared down at the letter while taking a sip from his flask, brows furrowed as he read the letter for what seemed the umpteenth time. A sigh escaped his lips as he leaned back in his chair while running fingers though his dark hair. Of course they would go to a person like him. Being a hunter just automatically made him the expert on strange creatures that clearly were not something the townsfolk knew how to deal with. He shook his head and folded the letter up, not caring to crease the folds neatly, and tucked it beneath his belt. If they weren't paying such a handsome price for his assistance, he would not even have the slightest interest in their request for help. The council member that wrote the letter could not even give a description of the beast that was apparently terrorizing the locals, and he had read the letter aloud to himself in a rather sarcastic tone when he had first received it. They definitely had some nerve requesting his services, he'd give them that.

He stood up and went to gather his gear and the things he would be needing for his trip to the town where the beast had been sighted. Guns were holstered, freshly-sharpened knives and his sword were sheathed, and clothes were packed away. He could only imagine how things were going to turn out once he got there. For all he knew, the villagers were literally crying wolf and the problem was not as great as they claimed it to be. People just scared too easily sometimes.

When he decided he had all that he needed, he made his way down the stairs from his room at place that he was currently residing into the streets where things were already animated with life. He left a note on his door that he would be away for God knows how long, and headed over to the stables where his horse was kept. He ran a hand over the stallion's black mane and patted its side before saddling up. He paid the stable boy in kind, which sometimes was a little more than the usual amount because he took pity on the boy. After he had emptied his pouch of some of the gold coins, he nudged his steed's sides with his heels and he was off.

When Vincent arrived at his destination, he left his horse at the stables there and shouldered his pack. This town was much quieter than the one he had been staying at, and he looked around as he took in the sight of his new surroundings. A particular group of people caught his eye, spotting parchment that appeared to be the same as that which was tucked against his waist. He slightly arched a brow. A group effort, eh? Either the Council member wasn't kidding about the scale of the issue, or he was overreacting. He quietly approached those gathered outside the tavern, glancing from one person to another. Quite the interesting bunch, he had to admit. One man was obviously intoxicated, a couple of the women looked irked by him. He recognized the Irishman, and rolled his eyes. It was an old friend that he had met a few years back. It was no surprise to him that he would be in this condition while harassing the females of the town.

"Brilliant," he thought to himself. He normally worked independently, so a group setting was going to be a change for him.

"So it seems I'm not the only one who decided to show up," he said to the others. "I'm assuming you all received the same letter?" He slipped his own invitation from beneath his belt and held it up for them to see for a moment before he returned it to its side.

Another man had joined their little club and now Myra wanted a part of it. Telling the carriage driver to prepare her horse back home, she slung a purse of arrows over her shoulder and strapped another dagger on the side of her thigh. Following the man, she pondered the state of the group she was walking into. They seemed like normal people, there were even some pretty girls, but she wasn't one to let her guard down. Examening them further, she found the men to be very attractive and knew this would be a very intresting mission. Something was going on between a couple of them though, and she wasn't interested in getting into it.

Stepping into the group she smiled her famous smile and shook her curls away from her face. Looking at them with creamy eyes, she showed her invitation to the crowd. "I have one also." It was funny, they didn't look like killers at all. Maybe some of them were drunkerds, but not assassins. This bunch seemed highly untrained compared to others. They would surely have their chance to impress her with the upcoming events.

Diana groaned and quickly cursed something in Spanish. She usually does that when she is frustrated or annoyed. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. If this guy is going to be like this for the whole trip, Diane wanted no part of it.

"No, you know what? If you're coming with us, you're not drinking. Give me your bag." Diane muttered and without warning, she stole his bag, took the bottles out cringing in disgust and chucked it at the far side of a building where no one was standing. She returned the bag to him which seemed much lighter to Diane now that all the bottles were gone and turned on her heels. You could hear the glass shattering from faraway. "What a waste of money..." She said silently to herself.

She sighed, remembering how her mother and father used to drink to relieve the stress about their money issues. "Still is a distraction," She thought. She followed Clarissa, shoving her hands in her dagger case and tracing the Ruby on her father's dagger. She stopped when another guy came. When he asked if they got the letter she nodded. "You coming?" She asked nodding in the direction they were walking in. Another person added, this was going to be tough. He seemed decent though, at least sober.

Diane stopped yet again when a girl this time came. She did this smile that would have probably have a hundred men falling for her and this little flip, shake thing with her hair. Maybe this girl was good for attracting men, but it wasn't for a beast. When the girl said that she also had the same letter, Diana sighed and walked away following Clarissa again, not bothering with the girl. What kind of mission is this? She hoped it wasn't a joke.

Clementine was happy that right in that moment so many people formed a whole team just in a minute. She was fascinated by the way Diana got rid of the alcohol. "So we should go, right?" she asked with excitement. "Did you know that elephants mourn when some of their relatives dies? And the golden poison dart frogs! They have enough venom to kill ten adult humans! Sorry, I talk too much when I'm around so many people I don't know... My name is Clementine, nice to meet you!" Her happy expression and excited voice tone became serious as she turned to Scott. "You should drink less, alcohol is unhealthy for the liver. You might die by alcohol poisoning, get in over million kinds of danger while you're drunk and accidentally kill people around you." After she finished, the smile on her face reappeared.
