Gaara walked down the deserted roads of Sunagakure. Sand mixed with wind gusted by him and hit the buildings roughly. The whirling sandy winds made loud whistle-like cries. But they didn't seem to bother Gaara. He walked with his arms crossed and stared straight forward with a dark expression; it was about 4 am. "Gaara! What the hell?! You said you would wait!" Kansa yelled in an annoyed tone as she ran towards her brother. "Calm down. You were taking too long" Gaara said simply as Kansa joined his side. She sighed, checking to make sure everything she needed was on her. "You seemed deep in thought" she said softly, looking at him. He nodded. "What were you thinking about?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "Konohagakure is the village of peace right? Or known for it. Right?" Gaara asked, sending his unsettling stare to Kansa. "U-um, yeah." she nodded, the stare gave her chills. It made her feel uneasy. "Lots of fun." he said simply and darkly, looking back forward as the sandy winds rustled through both of them. 'Why does he have to be like that...' Kansa thought, holding her hands over her stomach. Gaara closed his eyes, liking the silence that fell between them. Kansa looked away from him uncomfortably. She looked up at the still brightly lit moon with hopeful eyes. 'Will he get better?' she thought. "Kansa. How far is Konoha from here." Gaara spoke up and looked over at her. "Hm?" She looked over at him quickly. Gaara narrowed his eyes. "Like 5 miles" she laughed nervously. He nodded and closed his eyes, looking back forward. 'God damn' she thought as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of her face. "You have your paperwork for the Exams, correct?" She asked quietly. Gaara nodded. "Just making sure" she nodded back and looked forward. 'This'll be a long walk' Kansa sighed in her head. Once they had officially excited the Hidden Village Of Sand, Gaara and Kansa felt no more of a breeze, and no more sand hitting there skin. Gaara rubbed his arms looking around. "Straight ahead?" Kansa asked in confirmation. "You know, not me" Gaara said, crossing his arms and walking forward. 'You know, not me!' Kansa mouthed to herself, totally mocking him. Luckily Gaara didn't have eyes in the back of his head. She quickly caught up to him; realizing even though Gaara was considerably short for his age he was a fast walker. "Are you trying to abandon me?" she snickered, crossing his arms and mimicking her brothers movements. He didn't respond; Kansa laughed. Gaara went silent again. 'He better not do anything drastic while we're in Konoha. He'll ruin everything.' Kansa thought, paranoid. She shook her head, shaking away the thought and turned to him with a smile. "How did you like the pre-exams?" she asked. "It must have been helpful not having many people there, right?" she giggled. He shrugged. 'Oh no...' she thought with a sigh. He thought for a moment. "I don't need to train with Tonkai-Sensei." he said, turning to her with an unsettling stare. "What?" she said quickly, and slightly defensively. "Ill meditate alone, work on my own things alone, and be. Alone." Gaara emphasized the last part of his sentence, and looked forward again. Kansa's expressions saddened, and she nodded in discomfort and disagreement. "Understood" she said quietly, looking him up and down. 'Poor kid' she thought. "So, if your not going to be training with Tonkai-Sensei, then do you get your own room?" she asked, her tone only slightly brightening up. She didn't want to be completely upset on the long walk to Konoha. Gaara nodded. "What number is it?" she asked, her posture straightening. 'Maybe our rooms will be close?' she thought, her hopes high. He sighed "218" he said closing his eyes as he walked. Kansa grinned. "Yay, I'm 223" she nodded happily. Gaara didn't respond. 'Fantastic, the damn nuisance will be right by me.' he thought. They walked in silence for a while, Kansa was practicing hand seals while Gaara just walked with his arms crossed. 'It feels like he isn't even there, he's too quiet' Kansa thought, interrupting her hand seals. She sighed and dropped her hands. They were far from Sunagakure now, and getting closer to Konohagakure's barricade-like forest. "Gaara what hand seals do you have?" she asked looking over at him. "4." he said simply. "That's helpful" she rolled her eyes. "Ask more specific questions then" he glared over at. She rubbed her arm. "R-right. What 4 hand seals do you have, then?" she corrected her question. "2 wind, 1 water, 1 fire. Haven't you seen them?" he asked. She shrugged. "If I remember them" she chuckled softly. Gaara went silent again. "Maybe Ill practice the seals you know then! Maybe we could double team sometime!" she laughed playfully. 'No.' Gaara thought but didn't say anything to deny her request. She started the water dragon seal, but stopped in the middle of it. "Water Dragon has monkey in it... right?" she asked with a smile. He didnt respond. 'Figure it out.' he thought. Kansa glared. "How about we just start running?" she sighed. Gaara nodded, and took a big leap forward onto the first branch of a tree he saw. "Hey!" Kansa called laughing and leaped after him. They leaped through the trees at a high speed for about 2 hours before it was about 7:30. "We should be close by now" Kansa spoke the first few words in hours. Gaara nodded. 'Say something Im giving up on you' Kansa laughed in her head and showed a slight smile on the outside. But suddenly Gaara stopped in his tracks. Kansa almost tripped over her tree limp from the sudden stop. "Gaara? What is it?" she asked softly. He looked at her, eyes ice cold, then down at the ground. There were three ninja, from the village of the mist, going the same way they were going. "Oh...!" She said quietly. He glared hard at her, then leaped down from the tree without making any noise. Kansa's whole body trembled. "I get it, I get it! Why does he need to be like that" she said under her breathe, rubbing her arms uncomfortably. 'Those eyes...' she thought. Gaara walked behind the three Genin while Kansa walked above them in the trees. When the three ninjas reached a clearing in the dense forest, they finally noticed Gaara. "Who the hell are you?" one asked turning around. Gaara didn't reply, just glared at them. "Hey kid, stop following us." "This guys weird we should go..." two of them spoke. "You wont get far" Gaara sighed. "Oh really?" the first ninja smirked, rolling up his sleeves. "We're so scared" the second ninja started laughing, and pulled out two sais. Kansa watched the four of the Genin from a tree. "Gaara better not fuck this up... why am I getting worried?" she said quietly to herself. "My Gaara will never lose!" she snickered to herself. "Lets go!" the third ninja stated and started running towards Gaara. Without moving a muscle, sand from the gourd on Gaara's back began leaking out. When the third ninja tried to strike, the sand blocked the ninja's attack. "Idiot" Gaara scowled and sent the ninja flying into a tree with his sand. "Another cocky kid, eh?!" the first ninja started running just like the other one. Gaara held up his hand. "Sand coffin" he muttered under his breathe. Sand grabbed around the ninjas ankles, and lifted him up into the air. "A-ah! K-kid put me down!" the ninja yelled, struggling with his legs. The other two mist Genin's watched with interest, along with horror. Sand wrapped around the mans entire body, leaving only his head visible. "K-kid please! Let me go!" he yelled, trying to move out of the sand. Gaara continued holding his hand out in a half-enclosed fist. Kansa titled her head to the side as Gaara's fist turned counter-clockwise. "Suffer." he snickered deviously under his breathe. "AHHH!!!" the man screamed in agony. His limbs weren't visible, but inside the sand-trap the mans body contorted in different and unnatural directions. His arms bent backwards and his legs twisted in the wrong ways. The other two Genins eyes widened in fear. They were about to run away, but sand grabbed around there ankles. "Don't leave yet, we haven't had enough blood..." Gaara giggled under his breathe as the man continued to scream. Gaara's smirk faded. "Desert funeral" he said darkly. Kansa shielded her face with her forearms. "W-wha?" the man shivered in fear. Suddenly all the sand collapsed into the man, even over his head. He let out a scream of bloody murder, then the scream stopped. As all the sand slammed into the man, blood was sent flying everywhere. A small sand shield kept blood from getting on Gaara, but everywhere else in the forest clearing was covered in blood. The two ninjas left were shaking in fear, as their leader had just been crushed to death by sand alone. "Gaara! You can stop now!" Kansa called down from the tree. "I never thought of you as anything, Kansa. You get in my way, Ill kill you too" Gaara said darkly as he looked up and met her gaze. "Y-yes.." Kansa said quietly and quickly, scared of her brothers intentions. 'I wish Kankuro was still here to calm him down' Kansa thought, rubbing her hands. "Those screams were too loud kid! More ninjas will come and stop you!" one of the mist ninjas said. "Ok, Ill kill them too. Mother wants more blood" Gaara snickered under his breathe. He did the exact same thing to both the ninjas, at the same time. x2's the blood covered the area of the forest. Kansa hopped down from the tree once the killing had stopped. She laughed and rubbed the back of her neck. "I'm covered in blood again" she said nervously. "You can clean up once we get to Konoha" Gaara said simply and started walking. The blood of his enemies squished and slipped around under his black sandals. "H-hey aren't you gonna soak all the blood up?" she asked smiling. He looked over his shoulder, directly at her. "Mother has had enough for now." Gaara said darkly and continued walking. Kansa felt her skin crawl but nodded, composing herself. "Ok." she said calmly and walked beside him. "Do you think other ninjas will really come? I agree, the screaming was loud." Kansa asked him nervously. Gaara shrugged, not saying another word. "They didn't put up much a fight huh?" Kansa laughed. He didn't respond to that either. "I wonder what Kankuro would say in this situation..." she said quietly under her breathe. "Trash is nothing to be talked about. Kankuro was a waste of oxygen and couldn't prove his existence. He deserved to die" Gaara muttered. Kansa stopped walking, her eyes widened. Then she remembered: 'I never thought of you as anything, Kansa. You get in my way, Ill kill you too' she heard Gaara's voice in her head, and her eyes relaxed. 'So he doesnt think of me or Kankuro as siblings. Just useless mannequins. He'll kill me if I'm not careful.' she thought, and from then on walked behind him. They went back to walking instead of running. Gaara was now actually tired, he used up too much chakra (basically power, but you know this) in his ninjutsu, and now wanted to 'relax' as he walked.

Sona walked around the forest alone. She was headed to the Leaf Village for the exams but was very bored of everything. She had come from her home town, The Cloud Village, which was indeed a far journey. As she walked along she could feel Miyako burning deep within her. It would occasionally talk to her in a woman's voice, indicated that her best was a female. "Sona, stay inside.", "Sona, be a good girl." "Sona don't hurt us please!". The voices of her parents rang through her mind, causing her to shake her head vigorously to get them out. She began hopping through the tree's trying to get to her destination faster. As She was running she heard a voice in her head yell "Look Out!" Sona quickly duck as a Kunai knife flew over her and hit the next tree branch. She turned around to see a foot kicking her, causing her to fall from the tree. As she fell she flipped around so she landed on her feet, and stood up. "Dammit what was that?" Sona glanced up to see a pale man standing in the trees. He had black hair and soulless black eyes. Sona grabbed a Kunai and was ready to throw it until the man jumped down from the tree to her level and spoke. "Oh, sorry, I thought you were and intruder. Please forget about this." He smiled and attempted to walk away before Sona shouted. "Wait! Who are you?" She moved in front of his way, still keeping her guard up. "My name is Sai. I'm a villager here." He stated seeming to never break his smile. "Are you here for the Chunin Exams? If so, I can show you where the building is?" He asked curiously. "No Thanks. I prefer to go alone." She sneered. "I see, I respect that. well then, good day." He jumped off back into the trees and darted back to the village. 'there's something off about him..' She thought as she continued walking.
Mei jumped through the trees briskly. She had been running and errand for her teacher to a neighboring village. As She ran something caught her eye, making her stop and jump down. "Blood?" She questioned as she saw the mess that looked like a serious fight. "Whoa, I should report this I suppose." She was a little surprised by all the blood but began running on foot. She was around the area the Gaara and Kansa were when she tripped over a trap set by some local bandits. "Ah!" A net fell from the trees and hoisted her up about 6 feet off the ground. Her Kunai knives and weapons fell from her bag as 5 men appeared. They laughed and examined her. "I don't know, I think the boss would like her as a pet, look at those curves." One of them chuckled. 'Dammit!' She thought and tried to figure out a plan. The net was made of Iron, making it harder to escape from.

Kansa stopped after hearing something. "Gaara" she spoke coldly and grabbed his shoulder, making him stop as well.
Gaara turned to look at her; she held one finger over her mouth. Gaara's eyes narrowed as he heard the mens laughter.
"Ill deal with them" Kansa sighed, taking a kunai from her bag. "No. You keep going. Ill kill any bandits that get in the way; even if it doesnt want me to" Gaara pulled away from her. "Fine. Don't get hasty though" Kansa nodded and leaped off into the trees. "They aren't worth it" she sighed to herself, still leaping forward.
Gaara walked towards where he heard the noise. He peered through the trees cautiously. "Oi" Gaara said, loud enough for the men to hear and stepped out from the trees. "She didn't do anything wrong." he spoke calmly, with his sharp eyes glaring each of them down. He honestly didn't care about Mei one bit, but he wanted an excuse to kill the bandits off.
"Fight me, and release her" he said, crossing his arms tight over his chest. "Cowards like you shouldn't even try to capture
someone." he spoke bluntly and cracked his neck. The smell of metal lingered around him, the blood in the sand
sent out the aroma.

Kansa peered through the trees, not even worrying about him. From what she saw before, she had nothing to worry about.
'Someone else is near by... but only one' she thought, feeling someone's presence. "Not a bandit. Probably just another examiner" she sighed to herself and kept leaping. "No problem"

Sasuke was awake in his room, checking to make sure what he needed was in his bag. "Its just a dumb test, easy"
he snickered and put on his bag. He left his room and started his walk to the Exams, he wasn't too far away so the walk wouldn't be a bother.

Mei sat up in the net unsure what to do. She was yelling at the them, and they at her until they heard Gaara speak. Mei got chills just from the tone in his voice. The bandits became afraid and let her down. "Oof!" she yelled as she hit the ground. "W-What're you talking about, we were just um, playing! yeah!" The bandits tried to fake their way out. "yeah right!" Mei chimed as she climbed out of the net. The bandits tried to speak away but Mei threw a kunai at one of them and hit their legs making him fall down as the others ran.

As Kansa was leaping threw trees a kunai hit her next branch, almost hitting her. "Aw, Another student?" Sai sighed as he picked his Kunai back up. "Sorry," He smiled and made his way to leave.

Sona walked into town and made her way around to the exam building. 'Are you going to fail?' Miyako rang in her head. "You know I won't." She stated coldly, which to people looked like she was talking to herself as she walked.

"Hm." The sand poured out of the gourd on Gaara's back. It snaked behind the bandits that tried to run away, and grabbed there ankles. Pulling them down to the ground. Gaara looked over at Mei. "Go. Unless you want to go to hell with them."
he said simply, staring her down, then looked back over at the bandits. "Don't play stupid with me." he hoisted all the men up into the air, then slammed them back down on the ground with the sand. 'Ill deal with these first, then the hurt one.'
he thought. 'I cant play with them though. I have a time limit... damn.' The sand slowly began to crawl up the bandits legs,
crushing and consuming every bone and muscle until it was dust mixed in with the sand. This continued until all the bandits that tried to run away were soaked up by the sand. Gaara's attention turned to the man that had been hit with the kunai.
Gaara lifted up his hand from his arm, and clenched it into a half-fist. "Sand coffin." he said darkly. Sandd quickly grabbed around the man completely, only exposing his head as the mans body was crushed from the pressure of the sand.

Kansa sighed. "I don't know who you are but, don't throw kunai's at random people" she laughed and kept leaping.
'If that guy wasn't so sketchy I probably would have beaten his ass.' Kansa thought but shook her head, making the thought leave her head. "Whatever. I just need to get to the Exams on time!" she smirked to herself. The image of Sai was stuck in her head though. "Shady people everywhere huh. He is an examiner though. Nothing to be worried about" Kansa re-assured herself.

Sasuke ran past Sona with a determined look on his face. 'So many examiners... no worries' he thought and smirked.

Mei was shocked to see a stranger have so much power. She sat there watching everything happen, terrified but also curious. The men's screams were loud and painful. They echoed through the forest barely reaching the village. Mei picked up her weapons and put them back in her bags. "Thank you," She bowed slightly, watching him the whole time. She walked a little closer to him, "What's your name?" She asked curiously, but still kept her distance.

Sai brought out a journal he had and sketched a picture of Kansa. He thought about her and her laugh. "I'll have to remember that smile." He commented to myself and closed his journal emotionlessly. He continued leaping through the trees to get back to the village where he went to the Exam building.

Sona felt power running past her causing her to look and watch Sasuke. "So eager.." She thought as she heard Miyako warn her about the power radiating off of him. Sona nodded her head and walked to the exam building.

Once the 'business' was finished, Gaara turned to her. "Gaara." he said, staring into her eyes. "Why." he added as the sand snaked its way back into Gaara's gourd. "Your an examiner, correct?" he asked crossing his arms again. Once all the sand had returned to the gourd, a cork formed over the opening, and Gaara turned to begin walking. He kept his eyes on her, not removing his unsettling gaze.

Kansa finally got out of the forest and walked through Konoha's main gates. 'Its so lively here.' Kansa thought, which brought a smile to her face. "Gaara wont think much of it, but I do!" she giggled to herself and walked peacefully through the Leaf Village.
She got to the exam building, but waited out front for her brother. "And he claims Im slow" she sighed to herself, tapping her foot impatiently.

Sasuke ran into the Exam building. He sighed and slowed down his pace as he walked to the main rooms. As he got to the main doors, he encountered his sensei. "Kakashi, what is it?" he asked curiously. "Sasuke. Your too eager. This wont be a cakewalk, do you understand?" Kakashi sighed. Sasuke nodded. "Im just excited is all" he snickered. "Don't make a fool of yourself."
His sensei patted his shoulder, then disappeared. "Whatever" Sasuke said quietly to himself, and entered the main doors.

"Yes! I'm Mei" She added. "Are you headed to the exam building? I can show you" She felt a little relieved and walked behind him. She adjusted her outfit and tried to be settle as she adjusted her top. Her chest was rather big and she was making sure it didn't show too much.

Sai walked to the front gates where he saw the girl from before standing. He walked up to her, "You, what was your smile from earlier for?" He asked in a serious tone.

Sona walked to the building. She scoped out Sai and Kansa, then proceeded to move forward into the main hall.

"I know exactly where it is." he said and narrowed his eyes as he walked. "If your going to follow me, keep up. I don't need to be slowed down." he said simply before leaping off into the trees quickly. 'As if Im very fast though. Kansa's probably throwing a fit.' he thought. 'She shouldn't follow me though. If it gets angry, her hearts on the line.' he thought, then furrowed what would be his eyebrows. 'Ugh, I don't care. Ill only be stronger by killing her... mother would be happy'

Kansa looked over at him and grew very serious. "To show I wont kill you for trying to hit me. I was being friendly." she said simply. "Why are you asking?" she titled her head to the side, staying serious. 'This dudes sketch.' she thought, not breaking eye contact.

Sasuke sat on the floor with his back against the wall as all the other examiners stared him down. He was one of the rookie
test takers, and wasn't afraid to say it either. He sighed, speaking up. "Didn't your mothers ever teach you not to stare?"
he snapped in a serious tone.

Mei nodded and followed him close behind leaping through trees.
'Wow, he's serious..' She thought. 'Perhaps I shouldn't get too close...but in honesty I just didn't want to continue through the woods on my own. Although if I ever want to believe I can pass I'll have to face opponents much stronger.' She contemplated in her mind as she was quiet the rest of the way there.

"Hmm.." Sai thought and brought out his Journal. The sketch he made of her was clearly visible as he wrote down beside it some of what she said. "Curiosity." He stated as he closed his journal and opened the doors, walking inside.

"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to be a douche." One of the people commented back.
Sona walked in and stood around. Her eyes obviously didn't look normal so she got some people staring but she was just concentrating on what to do in the test.

Once they made it to the village, Gaara stopped. "Bye... Mei" he said then walked off and away from her. 'She'll die quickly.'
he thought, making it to the Exam building quickly as well.

Kansa felt shivers run up her spine, she felt paralyzed. "Fuckin creepy...." she muttered. (her face http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/248/505/767.jpg) Gaara walked up behind Kansa. "What are you waiting for?"
he asked, glaring at her. Kansa blinked a few times then turned around to him. "Hey slow poke..." she chuckled slowly.
Gaara sighed. "Whatever. Don't act stupid, lets go" he said walking in. Kansa followed behind him.
They got to the main room and walked in, not causing any attention. 'Good.' Gaara thought. But he did notice Sasuke about to pick a fight. 'Idiot.' he thought and shook his head. Kansa and Gaara walked to the back of the room and sat down. "Why were you acting all weird?" Gaara asked, leaning against the wall beside him. "Watch out for a slender albino guy, ok?" Kansa looked over at him. 'Idiot.' he thought. "Dudes hella-shady. I don't like him at all" Kansa shook her head in disapproval.
Gaara didn't reply. 'Idiot'

"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to talk back?" Sasuke sighed, but couldn't help but smirk under his breathe.
"You'll get beat, no matter who your talking to" he looked through the crowed to find the one who commented.
"Don't act superior with a mouth like that."

"Ah...bye..thanks again!" She waved and walked to the building, then into the main room. Mei walked in and bumped into Sona, "Ah, sorry." Sona gave her a cold glare to which Mei just walked away quickly. 'Creepy...' Mei thought to herself.

"Why you!-" The guy started to come at Sasuke before Sona practically teleported in the way."Why don't you save it for the exam." Sona stated to the examiner coldly. The examiner glared and walked away. She glared back at Sasuke, "That goes for you to."

"Fuck that!" Kansa ran away from the table. 'Idiot' Gaara thought and sat silently, peering around at everyone else; who payed no attention to him. "This will be easier than I thought." he assured himself. "Im surrounded by brainless sacks of meat... that must have been the boy Kansa was talking about though. He's not intimidating." Gaara spoke to himself quietly.

"Don't act superior to me" Sasuke stated. "I know my place here. Worry about yourself." he sighed scratching his head. 'When will the first test start already?' he thought impatiently. He stood up. "Don't interfere either." he walked away from her.

Kansa walked to where Sasuke was going. They both stopped and leaned against the wall next to each other without saying anything. Kansa didn't really want to say anything either, she was just waiting for the first test to start.

Suddenly two doors at the opposite side of the room swung open though, catching everyones attention. 'So it begins'
Gaara thought. He stood up, but was still unable to see through everyone. "So this is everyone?" the 'teacher' in that case asked and sighed. "Good morning everyone" he spoke loudly. "My name is Sondoki, I will be your teacher for the first test of the Chuunin Exams. Do not talk back to me or touch me. If you ask a clear question, I will answer. But don't be stupid. I also have more ninja with me to watch your actions" 8 people walked out from behind Sondoki in the same uniform as him. "Now.
Any questions? Good. Follow me." Sondoki spoke loudly and turned his back to the large room of people.

The loud voice caught Mei's attention and she sighed. She looked forward determined and followed as instructed.

Sai followed him as instructed and scoped out the competition as they walked down the hallways.

Sona glared at Sasuke as they were instructed to walk down the hallway. She follow obediently looking around carefully.

3 Words echoed in Sai, Mei and Sona's mind as they walked. "So It Begins."

Kansa and Sasuke walked beside each other as they followed Sondoki down the halls. They didn't say a word to each other, they only glared at each other through the corner of there eyes. 'This guy doesnt feel right ether...' Kansa thought.
'Whats her problem?' Sasuke thought. They both looked away from each other at the same time as Gaara caught up with Kansa.
"Oh hey" Kansa giggled, patting her brothers head. Gaara shot her an icy glare. "Hi." he said darkly. 'Whoops' Kansa laughed in her head. "Sorry" she nodded looking back forward with a smile. "Oh yeah, did you see the weird guy I was talking about?"
she asked, not looking over at him. 'Weird guy?' Sasuke thought, eavesdropping on the conversation.
Gaara shrugged, not saying anything. "The one with his stomach showing. He's pale, and skinny, and he's creepy"
Kansa hugged her arms. "Probably. I don't care thought." Gaara replied. 'Ive seen that guy, haven't talked to him though'
Sasuke thought. 'This guy seems weirder though...' Sasukes gaze turned to Gaara.
"So, you know what classroom to go to after the first test then, right bro?" Kansa giggled. 'Brother, pssht.' Gaara thought and nodded. "But we have the physicals after the first test. Then we go to our classrooms." he added.
"Oh, spaced that" Kansa laughed. 'Idiot.' Gaara thought.
When Sondoki finally brought them all to the classroom, he stopped them at the door and held out a hat. "Pick a number from the hat. The number will tell you where you sit." he said loud and clearly. People moved up one by one, taking slips of paper from the hat. Gaara got #56, Kansa #75, and Sasuke #16.
For each row, there was 5 desks. There was a space between each 3 rows of desks, and there were 7 desks to the back of the room in each row. (Make sense? If you don't get it I can pm you a picture of what Im trying to say XD)
The three of them sat down.

Sona walked up to the hat and took a number. She ended up with #55. She waked in and sat down behind Gaara. Her face looked rather bored and uninterested as she took her seat. She felt something weird coming from Gaara but shrugged it off.
Sai strolled around and smiled even creeping the instructor out as he got a seat number. Seat #76. He walked in and sat in front of Kansa. He actually didn't pay attention to who he was sitting by as he just stared straight.
Mei also grabbed her number and ended up getting #43. She sat down and looked around curiously seeing all her opponents.
'This isn't going to be a walk in the park but...I've got to try.' Mei thought in her head eager to start.

Shivers ran up Kansa's spine as Sai sat down in front of her. 'God no...' she thought and looked over at Gaara.
He returned the stare. 'So that's the guy? He's nothing. Idiot.' Gaara thought and looked back forward with his arms calmly crossed. He had the gourd under his chair, where sand could still come out at easy access if he really needed it.
He was always not guard, which was probably a good thing... or bad thing.
Kansa looked back in front of her. 'Whatever its cool, no problem...' Kansa thought and sighed. 'Just focus'
she thought and smiled, re-assuring herself.
Sasuke waited silently in his chair for everyone to sit. 'Now that I see, theres a lot of examiners this year' he thought,
remember there weren't too many last year. He was a newbie but he would peek in at what the examiners were doing from time to time last year.

Sona noticed his gourd. She stared at it and examined it's contents.
Miyako talked to Sona about it and gave her some info.
Sai felt stares so he looked back with the corner of his eye. He noticed it was the girl from before.
'Perhaps I make her feel unsettled.' Sai thought to himself. He turned around and smiled at her.
Without saying anything he turned back to face forwards once he heard the teacher come in.
Mei looked around but paid attention once she heard the teacher.

Gaara was used to being stared at, so he didn't take any notice to Sona examing what was under his seat. Sondoki walked inside the room. After a few more people followed him in, the door shut and locked. The people that were with Sondoki sat down in rows, bordering the rooms walls.
"Alright, everyone settled in?" he asked and examined the room.
Gaara suddenly felt a pain in his head. 'Shit...' he thought 'Now?' He gritted his teeth and gripped his biceps, trying to ignore the pain. "Now wont do you any good" Gaara growled under his breathe, almost silently. "Wait..." he said.
Kansa let out a soft breathe. 'Its cool haha!' she thought. 'All good!' she smiled softly as their teacher talked again.
"This first test will be the one that determines if your truly fit to take part in the Exams" Sondoki said, cracking his neck. "This IS a written test. One of the only main written tests. You can not cheat, speak, ask questions, or stand up. You must stay seated during the entire test. You can not sleep, you can not draw or doodle on your test, you can not tap your feet to make any unnecessary noises." he said clearly. "Everyone understands the rules? Good." he sighed and cracked his knuckles.
"Don't get so mad..." Gaara growled under his breathe.
"If you get caught breaking the rules 3 times, you will fail. If you get 1 or 0 points, you will fail. If you crack under pressure and leave the room, you clearly fail." Sondoki said.
"I'll do it, don't worry... mother..." Gaara gulped under his breathe. The pain in his head disappeared, well, became less severe. He sighed quietly and released the grip on his biceps.
"In order to pass this test, you must get 2 or more points and you can not get caught three times breaking the rules. Simple right? Just wait" the man snickered. "You all have an hour to complete the test. Do not write on your paper until I say 'start'" Sondoki nodded as people walked around the room, placing down papers on everyones desk. There were 9 questions in total, yet the 10th was blank.
'Whatever' Gaara thought, going over each of the questions. He furrowed what would be his eyebrows.
'What the hell kind of questions are these?!' Kansa thought, getting worried quickly.
"If you stay and you FAIL the test, you can never take the Chuunin Exams again and will stay Genin forever. If you cant take the pressure and you leave now, you will be able to take the test next year. Now, if you believe you can not pass this test, leave now." Sondoki stated clearly.
'Screw that, Ill ace it. Or try to.' Sasuke thought, glaring at the teacher. He hadn't taken a single look at his paper yet.
Once all the papers where passed out, Sondoki pulled a timer out of his pocket and set it on the table. "You all have a pencil, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser on your desks. Start..." the man waited for a second. "Now!" he said, and pressed the button on the timer.
Gaara picked up the pencil on his desk and wrote his name, then stared determined at the first question.
If C=A and B=D, what does F=?" the first question was.
'What the hell? What does that have to do with anything?' Gaara thought, and took about 10 minutes before he decided he could answer the question. 'F=Anything. The possibilities are endless, there's no variable for the rest of the letters given' Gaara thought, coming to the conclusion the first problem was most likely a trick question. He wrote down his answer, and glanced over at his sister Kansa, who looked like she was about to have a heart attack.
'WHAT THE HELL?!?!' Kansa thought. 'THIS TEST MAKES NO DING DONG DAMN SENSE!' she rubbed her face in frustration.
Gaara smirked and went back to his test. 'Idiot. Think outside the box.' he thought.
Sasuke stared down at his paper, not a single pencil mark on it. Not even for his name. 'I need to think of a cheating strategy, there's no way in hell I can pass this test if I don't cheat...' he thought, and licked his teeth. Sasuke wrote his name down on his paper, then closed his eyes. 'Sharingan..!' he thought and opened his eyes. They were now red with special markings. He could see what everyone was writing. 'Problem #1 solved' Sasuke thought and smirked, writing his answer down.
Gaara got to the third question and gave up. 'Im wasting time... whatever. I just cant get caught' he thought. Gaara held up his hand inches above his desk. Sand from the gourd under his chair snaked up through his hand. Using his other hand, Gaara placed his fingers to his right eye, closing both of them. The sand that snaked around Gaara's hand formed a ball in his palm. The sand began changing colors; the colors changed to white, brown, and black. It made a third eye. Gaara could now only see out of his small third eye. 'Go' he thought. The eyeball floated above his hand, and maneuvered itself under the desks so it couldn't be seen.
Kansa gripped her hands in her hair tightly. 'Shitshitshitshitshit' she thought. She looked over at her brother. 'Ok, calm down. Gaara's cheating just fine, so you can too. Just come up with something smart, and fast!' Kansa thought and nodded to herself. "Got it!" she smirked victoriously to herself quietly. She looked up at Sondoki, and to his forehead protector. The light of the room reflected off the forehead protector, and thus created a mirror-like effect. The mirror effect showed the tests of everyone. Although it was hard to see, Kansa's sharp eyes noticed everyone in the front rows papers from Sondoki's forehead protector. She started writing immediently, and quickly.
Gaara was able to get all the answers 3-9 quickly. When he finished gathering the information, the eye returned back to his palm. As Gaara opened his eyes, the third eye wilted away into sand. The sand retreated back into the gourd under his seat. Gaara wrote down everything he remembered quickly, and a little more. When he finished, he leaned back in his seat; crossing his arms and closing his eyes. He wasn't sleeping though, and it was obvious he wasn't. He couldn't sleep anyways. His nose scrunched up as he felt pains in his head again. "I wont fail..." he muttered under his breathe, gripping his biceps again. "Leave me alone..." he growled.
Kansa was able to get 4 of the questions done on her own and the other 5 by cheating. She felt accomplished, but another side of her was complaining about her 'dirty deed' though. She didn't care though, she just ignored that voice in her head and smiled to herself as she sunk down into her chair; relaxing in it. She looked over at her brother. 'He's dealing with it well...'
Kansa thought.
"Examiners 3, 81, 59, 93, 72, and 19. Leave now, you have failed." a man suddenly spoke up loudly.
Kansa jumped out of her skin and remember her number. 'I'm fine, looks like Gaara's fine too' she thought happily and wiped sweat from her brow.
"Examiners 29, 13, 11, 32, 52, 40, 90, 92, and 5. Leave now, you have failed." Another man spoke up. 15 people left the room at once, all with dark expressions. "Examiners 37, 108, 118, 2, 1, 110, 30, and 48. Leave now, you have failed."
Gaara was having a hard time remembering his number, the pain in his head grew. It was like he was having a battle with himself. "I wasn't called" Gaara growled. "I told you I wont fail... I've been good... haven't you noticed...?" he asked himself darkly under his breathe.
At the beginning of the test, there were 110 examiners in the room. 25 were kicked out and banned from the Exams forever in the spam of an hour, leaving only 85 Examiners in the room when the timer went off. Sasuke, Gaara, and Kansa all finished long before the timer went off. It was boring as hell; for Sasuke and Kansa. That whole while though Gaara was arguing with himself under his breathe.
As soon as the timer went off, the pain in Gaara's head left. 'Such a pain in the ass' he thought and ran his fingers through his sandy red hair.
"Pencils down!" Sondoki spoke loudly, everyone did as told.
'Finally!' Sasuke and Kansa thought, sitting up in there chairs and waiting for the teachers orders.
"I will now give you all... the tenth questions" Sondoki crossed his arms.
"What...?" Kansa said quietly, furrowing her brows.
"So that's why it was blank" Sasuke said to himself. Gaara stayed silent.
"There are two rules for this question: First, you each have the option to choose whether to take this last question or not. If you choose not to take the problem, your points will be reduced to zero no matter what. In other words; you will fail."
Kansa's eyes widened. "What?" she said quietly, looking up at Sonboki.
'So we have to answer it then, regardless if we want to or not' Sasuke thought.
"The other rule is-" Sonboki continued "If you choose to take the problem yet you get it wrong, you will lose the privilege to take the Chuunin Exams again. Much like the beginning; if you do take this problem and fail you will stay Genin forever."
he said simply.
"Damn" Sasuke gritted his teeth.
'One hell of a gamble' Kansa thought ,crossing her arms in annoyance as she glared at the teacher.
"What kind of stupid rule is that?" Sasuke spoke up, sitting up in his chair. Him and Sonboki made eye contact.
"That is why I gave you the choice to quite. Those who are not comfortable can quite now, and take the test next year" Sonboki snickered. "Those who fail will stay genin forever. Choose wisely."

[Btw, I didn't wait for this. I just passed the time. For your reply, you can write as if your characters are at different time places (god this is hard to explain) You probably already know what Im trying to say.. probably; but I just thought I would bring it up anyway since some people are a little derpy and don't think they can write at different times... hard to explain.

Sona sat, listening to the rules and scoping the room. Once the papers were passed out she flipped it over and wrote her name on the top. As she read through the questions her brow furrowed. 'Of course, it was stupid to think this test would be so easy.' She thought hard as to how she could answer these.
Sai wrote his name at the top then looked through them. 'Hm..I see, so it's designed for us to fail if we don't cheat..' He thought as he glanced around the room seeing everyone else's confusion. He breathed in and out and closed his eyes calmly. As he did, he could hear the pencil movements. Giving his history with drawing, he knew pencil writings better than the back of his hand. As he listened he copied there movements and began answering the test.
Mei scrunched up her hair, 'How does this even work!!??' She thought confused. She breathed in and out, 'Calm down Mei, come on, you've come this far, you're not going home now.' She thought and opened her eyes, overlooking the room. She noticed the guy sitting in front of her kept glancing around the room as well, clearly confused. 'I hate to use this as my advantage but....Whatever it takes!'. She quickly wrote down her name at the top. When he glanced back at her he took a double look, as she was leaning over her desk, making her breasts spill out more. When he looked back she glanced in his headband and used it to look at the man behind hers work. She began writing down answers as the guy in front of her kept looking back to stare.
Sona knew some of the answers herself but, she used more of her energy from her eyes making it visible to see through Gaara. She copied down and laid her pencil down when she was done. She knew 4 and cheated on the other 5.
Sai 3/9 and Mei knew 1/9.
They were all frustrated as they learned of the rules to the 10th question.
'How is that even FAIR!!!' Mei screamed in her head. 'That black haired kid needs a beating..' Sona thought annoyed as she listened. 'Of course.' Sai thought a little annoyed.

"Tsk, damn" Sasuke muttered and scratched the back of his head. The room went silent as the Examiners thought about what to do. "If you are leaving, raise your hand now." Sonboki sighed.
Gaara sat still as stone, just glaring straight forward in determination. Kansa looked over at him, then down at her paper.
'I cant leave but... ugh what am I supposed to do?! Its not like Im a genius or something!' she thought.
Gaara looked over at her and shook his head 'no.' He looked back forward.
Kansa sighed. "If I raise my hand Ill get beat. Better not" she said quietly and stayed unmoving as well.
Sasuke was debating in his head. The first person raised there head. "I-I will not take the last question" the girl spoke.
"Ok. Leave." Sonboki said simply. The girl stood up and left the room in silence. 'Pussy' Gaara thought.
After that, 10 more people left the room. Now only 74 Examiners remained. "Is this all?" Sonboki asked finally. He looked around the room and met Gaara's gaze.
'Move on dammit.' Gaara thought, narrowing his eyes.
"Seems so. The tenth question is; I will NOT repeat myself. Listen carefully" Sonboki cleared his throat loudly.
Sonboki cracked his neck. Sasuke stared at him with determination. Kansa clenched her desk with her hands and her feet shook in her boots.
Sonboki looked at all of the Examiners left with a smirk. "You all pass." he said.
Gaara's eyes widened slightly. "What..?" he said quietly.
Kansa was surprised for a moment, then looked up at the teacher smiling. "THAT was it?" she asked. Sonboki nodded.

Sona was actually feeling a little fear. Her mind rambled and she was tempted to raise her hand until she heard Miyako speak. "Is that fear I sense? Are you afraid of a measly question?" ...'no....' Sona repeated in her mind. "You're never going to become strong with such a useless emotion. Crush it. Now." Miyako's voice echoed like a spell in Sona's mind. Sona took a breath in and cleared her mind. She looked forward with cold eyes. 'Very well.' She thought.
Mei rubbed her . hands nervously, 'what the heck, what to do, what to do..!' She thought and closed her eyes tightly.
She opened them slowly as she breathed out, 'what I do,...is stay.' She thought and looked forward seriously.
Sai seemed unfazed. He sat wondering what was going to happen. Leaving wasn't an option for him, so he sat in silence, observing everyone else.
Hearing his words was obviously a shock. Some students began making noise and asking questions.
"Huh....?" Sona, Sai, and Mei were all thinking the same thing. 'What the heck was that!!' Their thoughts screamed.
"W-We passed....?" Mei asked, her eyes filled with confusion.

"Yes you did" Sonboki nodded still with a smirk.
"What was the point in asking the tenth question then? You just sent tons of students out the door." Sasuke asked with a relieved sigh. "To test bravery" Sonboki shrugged.
'Bravery..? And psychological strength obviously.' Kansa thought and sighed rubbing her face. 'Whatever. I passed!'
she thought happily and looked to Gaara with a smile. He didn't return the gaze, just stared straight forward.
"Rude" Kansa giggled under her breathe and stared forward as well.
"This test was to see how brave you were, how persistent you were. How much you were willing to keep going no matter the cost." Sonboki nodded. "Also to see how long you would each last while being pressured to leave." he snickered.
"Simple enough" Sasuke sighed.
"So, again. Congratulations to all of you! You are all now officially part of the Chuunin Exams." Sonboki smirked.
"So, what now then." Gaara asked. "Go to the main hallways, you will learn where to go and what to do" the teacher said.
Gaara stood up, taking his gourd with him, and was the first to exit the room.
Kansa quickly shuffled to her feet and left with Sasuke and some others out of the room. Gaara walked down the halls with his arms crossed. 'So meet at the center of the building then' he thought. When he arrived Kansa had just caught up to him.
She laughed out of breathe. "We're lucky, huh?" she chuckled taking in breathes. "No. Just not idiots."
he replied simply.

Mei released a huge happy sigh, but knew that the exams were far from over.
She hurried out the door and headed in to the center building.
Sai gathered his things and walked out quietly. As entered the center building he passed Kansa.
When he did he whispered, "Good job." Then smiled as he walked around the room.
Sona breathed in and out as she walked to the center. 'Glad you listened to me right?' Miyako whispered in her head. "Whatever. This is only the first test." She echoed rudely. 'Sona you're going to have to give into my power eventually, sooner than you think in fact.' Miyako cackled in her mind. Sona just furrowed her brow as she entered the room. She walked and stood around some unfamiliar faces awaiting the next trial.
Mei gazed around the room as she entered it. She accidentally bumped into Gaara, "Oof!" She rubbed her forehead. "Oh Sorry" She bowed slightly and smiled as she walked past him and continued to gaze around the room.

Gaara clenched his fists and was about to take a step forward. Kansa grabbed his arm, stopping him from moving forward.
"Hahaha don't you think we should go look around?" she laughed nervously. 'He was having a conversation during the tests, this isn't good' Kansa thought. Gaara glared at her, shivers went up her spine. "C-come on, we'll be back in time Im promise!"
she laughed nervously again. 'That girl is gonna die if I don't get Gaara away... I need to calm him down. He must be getting excited' Kansa thought. Gaara gritted his teeth tight behind his lips. His eyes softened slightly.
"Ok! Lets go then!" Kansa chuckled nervously and pulled him away from where everyone was. 'Thank god' she thought.
Gaara tugged his arm away from her hands as they both walked in silence. "So-" "Shush." Gaara interrupted his sister.
Kansa hugged her arms and walked quietly. They both walked around the building for a while together. That was when Kansa realized Sai actually said something to her. 'Oh yeah, he tried to say something to me didn't he' Kansa thought.
She rubbed her arm uncomfortably. The atmosphere was still dark. 'Gaara needs to chill the fuck out, especially since next are physicals. If someone tries to talk to him or touch him, all hell will break lose' Kansa thought worriedly. She suddenly stopped walking and turned to her brother. "Lets stop." she said quickly. Gaara barely nodded a 'yes' and they both took a seat on the benches. "Do you know her?" Kansa asked after a while of silence. "Yes." he responded darkly, staring off into space.
"Do you know a lot about her?" she asked again, twiddling her thumbs. "No." he responded. "Have you met anyone else?"
she asked; trying to get off topic. "No." he responded. 'Well fuck what now?' Kansa thought.
She went silent trying to think "... Do you like it here?" she asked cautiously. "Where." he responded, moving his unsettling gaze to her. "U-uh, here in Konoha I mean" she added. Gaara sighed. "I don't like the people, I don't like the government. But this is the Village that's flourished the most out of any other. I need to respect that." he said.
'Yes, he's getting back to normal!' Kansa thought victoriously. "Yeah, I agree" she noded with a small smile.
"Is it better than Sona?" she asked softly. Gaara went deep into thought, then shook his head. "Definitely not in my opinion"
he said simply. 'Back on track!' she thought. "Alright well, if we keep chatting we're gonna be late. Lets head back!"
Kansa giggled standing up. Gaara nodded and stood up beside her. They both started walking back.
Kansa felt very proud of herself 'Il have to find that girl... I cant ask Gaara about her though. He might get all... weird again'
she thought, trying to remember what Mei looked like.
Sasuke had been sitting in the corner the whoel time, waiting for instructions. He wasn't one for socializing, and wasn't there to make friends either. He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, waiting for something of relevance to happen.
