His features are sharp and catlike, face framed by chestnut brown hair that is usually unruly due to the almost constant static cling surrounding him. The boy's stature is rather average.. His body is thin and toned due to his youth, not because he puts in any effort. Perhaps most striking about Ellis are his eyes. While a simple dark brown color, when absorbing electrical energy, they change, glowing a fiery topaz and increasing with intensity the more electrical energy he conducts.
Personality: Ellis is a people-pleaser. Always eager to have some fun, he feels most at home surrounded by his many friends. His easy going nature and fair attitude have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. In fact, despite being a metahuman, Ellis' friends do not fear his powers and instead, treat him like any other. He can be rather scatterbrained and easily distracted, but once something holds his interest, he becomes alert and focused.

Powers: Electrical Absorption - The power to conduct and manipulate electric energy within the body. By draining sources of electricity via electronic devices or static in the air, Ellis is able to store the energy to gain power. With enough energy stored, he can expend it at will to charge small machines, electrify his body, or even discharge the energy in a concentrated bolt.
Background: Born into a large family, Ellis was the fourth of six siblings. The absolute example of the "middle child", he was often brushed aside by his parents in favor of the older or younger children. As such, he grew up with a rather independent mindset, the light of his computer screen his only company. At the age of twelve, his metahuman powers awakened.
His family often complaining of high electric bills and frequent dead batteries, despite having just been recharged, it wasn't long before Ellis became not much more than a nuisance in his household. After registering with the Metahuman Draft Board, his parents were all too eager to send him away to a boarding school. It was there that Ellis began making friends and enjoying a rich social life. He was open and honest about his powers as a metahuman and thus, gained the trust of students and teachers alike. After graduating, he chose to enter college as required by the government of Taured, with a focus on electronic engineering. Ellis' studies were cut short, however, by the fateful news of his draft into The Cleansing. With trepidation, he allowed himself to be escorted to the arena where The Cleansing would take place.
