Isobel opened her eyes and lay for a moment trying to regain her senses, she had had very little sleep and what rest she had gotten had been filled with dark and disturbing dreams. Johan had featured prominantly in them as had her sister and Theodrin and Isobel shivered slightly at one particularly disturbing dream came back to her. She had come across her sister and her fiancee sharing a bed and instead of trying to make amends they had both scorned her. Isobel remembered clearly fleeing from them and running to Johan though that made no sense, whilst she may feel some attraction for the man, she barely knew him.

With a sigh she rubbed a hand over her bleary eyes and tried to banish the unpleasant images but only partially succeeding. If she had the choice she would choose to stay in her room and hide from the world until she had her equalibriam back but that was not an option. The tournament was today and as a Princess of the realm she was expected to attend. She and her siblings had to present a unified front so that the masses felt comfortable in secure in their rulers. She sighed again and then rung the bell that sat next to her bedside. One of her maids entered a few moments later and bobbed a curtsey.
"Bring the blue gown please." She ordered quietly.
The maid bobbed again and dissappeared coming back a few moments later with the gown that had been specially made for the days events. Isobel fingered the material and had to admit the seamstress really had outdone herself this time. The gown was a blue so dark it was alomost black and made of velvet. The bodice sparkled with silver embroidery as did the hem and cuffs. The sleeves were long coming to a point halfway up her palm. She allowed the maid to lace her into the gown and then sat in front of the mirror so her hair could be arranged. For the occasion she had her hair piled on top of her head and woven into it were lots of tiny silver gems that sparkled in the light. Add to that her silver cross and a delicate silver tiara and she was ready. She could not help but feel anticipation at seeing Johan again and part of her hoped he would be blown away by her appearance.

She rose from the dresser and took a few moments to ensure everything was in place before dismissing the maid and exiting her rooms, the two guards that stood outside her door immidiately fell in behind her but Isobel ignored them. Having people around you constantly was a part of being royalty and Isobel had become used to it long ago. She disliked it intensely but tolerated it as she did most things. She walked into the royals private sitting room and settled herself in one of the chairs. She was faintly curious to see which of her siblings emerged from their chambers first and her bet was on Lelinus. As he like her was not a heavy drinker and habitually rose early.

Forgetting the sheet Evelyn got up out of Theodin’s bed and wandered over to his window, staring out to the clear blue sky, it certainly was a great day for a tournament, smiling to herself she ran her hand up and down her bare arms suddenly becoming aware of the fact she was naked stood by the widow, turning quickly she walked into the privacy of Theodin’s bed chamber, kneeling down on the bed she leant over him a smile gracing her beautiful face “Theodin” she called lightly placing her hand lightly on his cheek and placed a kiss onto his lip “wake up my darling.”
