He didn't want to hurt his little girl, but he did it to drown out the sadness. Eventually, her dad couldn't handle her anymore, so he sent her away to live with her cousins at Shigure's old house.

Peraonality: Akina is the quiet one. She doesn't speak often, and when she does, it's only for necessities. She is calm, and graceful, and always seems to know what's happening around her. Akina is caring, and takes care of her family, and other members of the zodiac.
