In this world magic exists but is considered by most to be taboo. Since not everyone is blessed with the ability to tap into the world's magic, many people believe it is evil. Sadly many who are blessed, choose to ignore it entirely while others abuse the gift. The leaders that used to rule over great kingdoms were thrown down and cites have become independent. Unstable laws lead to confusion and self sufficient, isolated cities. Money and power became the rules of the land.

In the midst of all this a group, intent on bringing the world together, was born. This group called themselves The New Dawn, signifying the great, new change they were to bring to the world. Their main means of bringing about their goal was through power and fear. This group grew swiftly in numbers. Many joining solely to gain power, while others had true beliefs in the ways of the New Dawn. New Dawn influence swept over the lands and their power became well known and well feared. It didn't' take long before a secret group was formed to fight against the New Dawn. This group called their selves the Sun Defenders, to signify that they meant to protect the good name of the rising sun of change. This group survived only through secrecy due to to drastic difference in numbers compared to New Dawn. None the less they fight to bring peace to the world and stop the fearful plans of the New Dawn.

However there exists a mysterious box simply known as the Box of Blin. This box is said to contain very powerful magic. As a result it is sought for diligently for the possession of such a powerful tool would make things much easier for anyone.



THE SUN DEFENDERS

The Sun Defenders fight the New Dawn influence. They believe that the Box of Blin should be kept out of New Dawn's hands and that the world, though flawed, doesn't deserve New Dawn's wrath. The Sun Defenders have only a fraction of the numbers New Dawn has, but the Sun Defenders are more picky then New Dawn is on who they let in. If they weren't picky and careful they would be easily crushed by New Dawn's numbers. Thus they make their resistance as secret as possible.

I do solemnly swear
That I will fight against the New Dawn's influence, Preserve the Sun Defenders, and defend the people. I will use my wisdom and power for the good of all and will always help a fellow in need.


NEW DAWN

New Dawn has set out with two goals in mind retrieve the legendary Box of Blin and rule the world with their iron grip. They will do anything to reach their goal including but not limited to destroying cities and taking prisoners. The group makes slaves of captured civilians. The New Dawn usually kills those who oppose them but on occasion they will take prisoners either forcing them to do work for them or just as leverage against the Sun Defenders. New Dawn believes the world should be perfect and the only way to do so is though mass fear. They have intentions to group everyone under one rule and force everyone to do what they think at the moment is right. People join New Dawn for power, wealth, or a belief the world needs to be ruled with an iron fist. New Dawn doesn't think what they are doing is bad they justify their doings saying it is for the good of the world.
New Dawn's Leader is known as the Great King.

List of Positions I'm looking to fill.
For Sun Defenders:
School Masters (experienced members of middle rank or higher)
~masters are assigned to one to three students at a time. They are responsible for teaching them how to use their powers. Most masters will be given students that are most similar to their own powers. Though masters are also allowed to pick students who peak their interest, for whatever reason.
Council Members (experienced members of high rank, knowledge, and or intelligence)
~Members of the council are part of all the major decisions behind the Sun Defender's actions. As a group they decide what the best course of action is. They give orders to others who break it up and assign mission to individuals and or groups.
Search Squad Members (middle to high ranked)
~These members move in small units to gather information on the Box of Blin and New Dawn's progress in the endeavor. Best known for stealth and information gathering, the are often given missions as spies.

For New Dawn
King's Adviser (Xiu only)
~These members are the right hand men/women to the Great King. The Great King himself is the only one that holds authority over them. The Great King has to choose them, for whatever reason. All Xiu are given a mark on their bodies to symbolize their rank. It is common, however, for a Xiu to call himself a Zito and take up a normal job as well.
Seeker (Cano and Feni)
~A Cano with the job of Seeker seekes out the box of Blin. As they rule over a large group of Feni, they also take on the role of seeker.
Expos (Zito)
~Usually only Zito are given the job of Expo, as it is a job best done alone. They are spies, hunters of the Sun Defenders. Most Zito with this job don't have direct subordinates, but any with the title of Zito can pull rank on Cano and Feni to fit their needs.
Tener (Cano and Zito)
~A tener is a student trainer. They spend most their time at Maligna testing noew recruits. They are also the ones who give them their starting rank. A Cano in this position has duties elsewhere too, but a Zito ca choose to wherather or not they have other duties.
Keeper (Cano and Zito)
~Keepers are the ones who keep, train, and or torture captives and animals. Feni under a Cano holding this job, act basically as guards to the captives.
