Age: 36
Gender: Male
Why are you dying: Multiple gunshot wounds.
Stitch-work
Personality: On the surface Todd wears a mask of normalcy, hiding the truth from those around him. He keeps things neat, clean..but not enough to be thought of as anal. He stays off the radar as much as possible, trying to blend in enough to be easily forgotten. The truth however is quite dark. Todd is a serial killer. He has killed over twenty people in his life, the news gave him the nickname "Stitch-work", due to the things he does to his victim's bodies. Abused as a child, Todd seeks power..domination, his victims are tortured slowly..then killed with a slash across the throat. After sewing the gaping wound back together Todd then removes the face from the body replacing it with a new one..pure white cloth, no eyes nose or mouth holes. Left this way, the police find the bodies posed in thier homes, resting on couches..seated at tables. Like dolls.
Fears: Being trapped, powerless. Crowds.
Dreams: A world without eyes, no one to see him...no stares..no thoughts. His dream world is silent, no whispers..mocking, harsh tones. Todd wants a pure white world, where the dolls play, and treat him nice. He might want a dog, but not a big one...
Likes: Clean fingernails, it's a small thing..but it's one that matters to him. A nice sandwich, no messy condomints though, they can dribble and stain.
Dislikes: Filth, clutter. These things above all else cause Todd to cringe. Whispers, he thinks they are about him...stares as well, it bothers him to be studied.
History: Todd Finn was born to a broken home, and his early years bear traumatic scars. Abused from a young age first by a drunken father then a series of drunken step-fathers, Todd had to explain away quite a few bruises and black eyes. In time however the teachers could no longer be silenced by his story of tripping over something and hitting his eye on a desk, and involved the police. Those teachers had the right idea, but the road to hell is paved by good intentions. The state placed Todd in the first open home they could...the home of a violent sexual predator. Here Todd faced further abuse, in time sinking into depression, which lead to an investigation when social workers came to check on him. Out of that home, the man in prison...onto the next hell.
And so it went, one home after the next.
Until Todd turned 18.
Free now, his bruised and broken mind was split..one half still a lost little boy..the other a violent...Thing. During the 18 years of abuse Todd's mind had fractured, forming a split personality..to deal with all the pain. This personality was angry..and now it was free. Slipping off the radar by crossing the country Todd got small jobs to build up cash and begin his new life, while the darker part of him began to obsess over dolls, clean white cloth dolls. Over the next 16 years Todd murdered several whole families, his darker nature butchering them..men, women..children, and leaving them as cloth faced dolls. Always clean and neat, it took years for the police to discover who he was.
The end came one night in July, as he was walking home from work, having slain a family of four just nights ago, when a cop car pulled up before him. Startled he stepped back and reached behind him to keep from tripping. All the cops saw was the suspect reaching behind his back...that was all they needed. He took 16 shots, and was rushed to the hospital. Now in a coma, his status looks grim.
But in dreams..Stitch-work has all the time im the world.
