Joshua is pretty tall and well built for his age range, or at least above average. His skin tone is pale throughout, though this white isn't a sickly sort of white. Moreover, Joshua tends to get sunburns pretty often due to his sensitive skin, which has influenced the light tone of his skin, as he rarely ever likes to venture out with short sleeves and pants on. His hair tends to contrast with Joshua's skin tone, as it is a dark, conspicuous navy blue. Joshua's hair doesn't need any tending at all. When he wakes up, Joshua tends to just roll out of bed with whatever hair style his hair is stuck in at the time. Luckily enough for Joshua, this hairstyle is pretty constant, and actually quite fashionable with his long bangs and slightly curled hair. Obviously, bunches of hair tend to stick in weird directions as Joshua is just like any other person under attack by bed hair.
Also, Joshua tends to wear a standard set of clothes. A long navy trench coat and formal wear- a vest and formal shirt- underneath. Joshua himself doesn't know where he caught this style of dressing up, however it has stuck with him ever since he can remember. Funnily enough, it may seem like Joshua is constantly wearing the same clothes every day, but this is not true- Joshua has at least 10 different pairs shirts, trench coats, pants, etc, each the same size and color to wear. He almost never brings along any 'accessories', including watches and scarves, because the trench coats act as a well-to-do enough insulation layer for Joshua. Obviously, Joshua must wear glasses and Joshua actually currently safe keeps quite a few spares just in case something happens to his current pair.
Furthermore, wherever he goes, Joshua constantly has a sword hanging from the left side of his hip. The sword sheath itself is golden, shining almost as brilliant as a diamond under the sun.

- ✦ Swordsmanship || Back at Kensington, Joshua took daily classes on fencing ever since he was 5. Since then, Joshua quickly picked up the art of fencing and using swords in general, acing most of his tests in class and winning first place in many competitions. He had been set to head off to the Olympics for fencing, but his sudden trip to Neverland cut that plan short.
Surprisingly enough, Joshua isn’t that interested in using foil or epee swords that are mainly used within competitions. Joshua loves to use sabres and has a sword of his own that he constantly keeps on his hip. Joshua’s fighting style is extremely unpredictable, and is further reinforced with his Children of the Sea abilities. This has made him an extremely deadly opponent to all those who try to fight against him.
✦ Diplomacy | Negotiation || With a sly tongue and a fast mind, Joshua tends to be able to get what he wants to receive. Otherwise, he is extremely good at calming down two antagonistic sides and avoid future conflict. This skill also includes a harsher side, however, which includes suppressing whatever voice or opinion he believes will harm future compromise or benefits for himself within whatever situation he is interested in.
✦ Analytical skills || After a few episodes of interaction, Joshua is basically able to gauge what sort of personality a person has. He can also quickly analyze a situation he is in, gathering data and information within his mind to analyze silently. Joshua loves to examine places and people from the most trivial aspects to the largest glaring problems. This skill has been developed not only due to Joshua’s personality, but also from his love of analytical puzzles and other such pass-time activities.
✦ ‘Flexibility’ || Joshua is able to adapt and change himself to any situation he finds himself in. For people, for his surroundings, for certain situations, Joshua is able to quickly adapt to whatever he feels he should change. He can tarnish his pride, act utterly evil, hate something he likes, like something he dislikes just for any goal he has in mind.
⌈Power Abilities⌋
- ✔Hydrokinesis || The most basic power for all Children of the Sea, the manipulation of water is a skill that Joshua particularly excels at. Not only can he use water to subdue people, but also to harm them by creating high-speed water jets or even by creating temporary weapons with water. Joshua’s hydrokinetic powers also includes extracting water from plants and the air around him alike, thus allowing him to create enough amounts of water to use during battles without much trouble. However, it must be noted that water attacks are mainly defensive rather than offensive- rarely is Joshua able to actually harm someone fatally with his hydrokinetic powers.
But recently, Joshua has found a different part of his skills. His ability to manipulate water doesn’t just stop at dihydrogen monoxide itself, but also extends to almost any form of liquid. From drinks to oil, with the exception of blood and body fluids (which he considers as a completely different part of his hydrokinetic skills). But his control of these other forms of liquid are extremely limited, and Joshua can barely use them unless highly focused. Though this drains him considerably, Joshua can sometimes also cause small rainfall to occur- but not for too long. He hasn’t found the need to use that aspect of his skill at all, especially since it is extremely draining and, really, doesn’t help him attack or defend himself at all.
✔ Mist Manipulation || Joshua can also manipulate mist, using it to attack but not defend. However, this skill is extremely limited, and Joshua tends to only use it as an extension of his swordsmanship. He tends to manipulate mist so that it is thin and sharp, cutting into his target’s body before his sword does, making sure that he either lands a hit, or creates a larger wound than his sword would have by itself.
✔ Blood/Body Manipulation || The human body contains a large amount of water- nearly 75% at that. Only recently did Joshua unlock this new skill of being able to manipulate the water particles within the human body, from blood to pus, to anything else, really. This allows him to control the movements of others by manipulating which way their muscles bend (by influencing the blood in the area), cause muscle and bone ruptures, and even cause his opponents to have a heart attack.
However, currently, Joshua has full control of manipulating how people move, but he cannot control blood and bodily fluids to their extent. He still feels a bit strained when he tries to control the human body, and tires a lot easily compared to when using his other skills. But Joshua is set on perfecting this particular ability, as it is the most deadly and promises an instantaneous death to all his opponents.
✔ Pressure Manipulation || Joshua can control both water pressure and pressure on surface, which is, well, gravitational force. With the current extent of his powers, he can make people feel bad, as if an oppressive force is pushing on them from all sides.
Due to his Heir’s blood, this power (and blood manipulation) is extremely special. Only the rulers of the Children of the Sea have ever been able to have these abilities- and rarely have they ever been able to fully control their abilities. Joshua is on the way, and his control over his abilities has only been increasing over the past few years.
Other || Other than these skills, Joshua has yet to unlock all of his powers as a child of the Sea. He cannot transform into his other form, nor can Joshua converse with the animals of the sea. He has been trying to develop that aspect of his powers, but all attempts have been futile.

Though he is a fast eater, Joshua somehow still manages to be an extremely clean eater and never leaves a hint of evidence that he ate in the spot right before.
❖ Writing To-Do Lists || Joshua likes to plan his day out, from what he does in the morning till night. However, he knows that these schedules are near impossible to follow, due to different factors that arise during the day. This is why Joshua tends to keep a list of things that he must do throughout the day, as he believes that a simple list would be a lot easier to follow. He tends to check things off one by one until he is done with the list- then he goes off to do whatever activity he wants to do.
❖ Snacking || Wherever he goes, Joshua always has a snack on him. He can just suddenly whip it out of nowhere and start eating and others may not notice at all. He doesn’t really consider a habit, but it’s happened enough for others to categorize it as so.
❖ Selective Lying || To protect his siblings- to protect himself- Joshua has started to selectively lie now and then. However, Joshua barely feels bad about what he is doing, nor does he feel any shame at all. Rather, the lies that flow out of Joshua’s mouth almost seem to be the truth within Joshua’s mind though he obviously knows else wise. Prior to arriving at Neverland, Joshua rarely ever lied to anyone at all; the need to survive and either leave or establish him and his siblings in Neverland has caused Joshua to start using this hidden skill he has, and by now it has already become a ‘bad’ habit of his.

- ♥ Debate || Joshua likes to kindly argue about what he believes is correct. It’s not that he likes to prolong arguments, he just likes to start friendly little banters that rarely ever last for more than a few minutes.
♥ The Sea || Though he doesn’t really understand why- though is time at Neverland has hinted at him the reason- Joshua has loved the Sea ever since he was young.
♥ Swimming Pools || Joshua loves swimming pools, the larger the better- especially when they are extremely deep as well. From time to time, Joshua would submerge under water and never surface for a few minutes- only when people aren’t around.
♥ Swimming || As noted above, Joshua loves swimming pools, lakes, rivers and oceans in total- this obviously means that he loves any sort of water sport. He especially likes swimming, and is extremely fast when he hits the ocean, faster than he is on land (which is pretty remarkable).
♥ Fencing || It would be pretty interesting to know that a fencing competitor does not like fencing. Joshua’s love for fencing developed ever since he was a child, and has spurred him to constantly practice and compete.
♥ His Siblings || These two make up Joshua’s life, or so he likes to say to others. He loves the two, and hopes that, if anything bad happens, he would be able to block whatever danger they might encounter. Even though they have their flaws, Joshua tends to ignore them, with the blind belief that his siblings are perfect.

- ✘ Ships || Joshua would rather just swim wherever he could. He can, since he can swim for very long distances.
✘ Heated Arguments || Though he likes debate, Joshua would really rather steer away from arguments that include sentences based fully on ad hominem arguments.
✘ Swearing || He’d rather keep a couth vocabulary in front of everyone, anywhere, based on any situation. Unless the situation demands, Joshua will swear.
✘ Senseless Fighting || Joshua personally believes that fighting should only be a means of defense and exploration, not a force to be used arbitrarily for no reason at all. He slightly dislikes people who like to use their powers against others for no reason, and like to see other people in pain.
✘ Unbearable Heat || Compared to the arid heat, Joshua loves the wet coolness that water almost always promises. He can work with humidity, especially because Joshua can control the water particles in the air. However, he cannot manage the arid heat and tends to abhor summer no matter where he is.
✘ Aquarium || Aquariums look like cages within Joshua’s eyes. The pain of the fish and other aquatic animals seem to just pass through the glass to Joshua’s mind. What he remembers the most is this one encounter with a dolphin back when he was still 10 years old. The dolphin had been fraught with depression that had passed on to Joshua. Till now, he still dislikes the glass enclosures of aquariums

- ✪ Calm || Joshua can remain calm in all situations, from solving puzzles to when a sword is pointed at his chin. This certain trait has helped Joshua out a lot in the past few years. When dealing with others, his calmness has allowed Joshua to carefully place his actions where they would be the most beneficial for himself; His analytical abilities have only been able to develop due to Joshua's generally calm composure, allowing him to analyze everything within situations without letting his eyes and mind cloud with emotion.
✪ Intelligent || Extremely smart and intelligent, it is obvious that this has been a beneficial trait for Joshua. However, he doesn’t pride in his intelligence, but rather thinks he’s lucky that he was born with it.
✪ Stamina || Due to his lack of strength, Joshua has supplemented it with speed and maneuverability. Joshua can hold up quick dodges and sharp clashes for a long extended period of time, making him a strong opponent. He can also run for an extremely long time, amongst other things that can help him ‘flaunt’ his stamina.
⌈Weaknesses⌋
- ⌘ His Siblings || Joshua is willing to do anything for his siblings- even sacrifice his life if needs be to ensure their safety. Many of his enemies have said that the two young Kingsley children are Joshua’s largest weakness.
⌘ Strength || Though he is good at swords fighting, Joshua is pretty helpless when it comes to hand to hand combat. He barely has any strength in his punches. This has caused Joshua to lose quite a few fights in the past few years, though he has slowly managed to make up for his deficiency in strength with speed.
⌘ Impatience || Joshua has a pretty short fuse when it comes to anyone but his two younger siblings. This is why he tends to keep his arguments short and his fights temporary as well. He knows that this is one of his major flaws, so he tends to try and hide it up.
