Alignment: We may seem cruel at times, but it's all for the betterment of our people.
Terrain Preference: Surrounded by tropical forests, where fruits and brightly colored flowers bloom in the day, but this beatiful forest looks very eerie at night. This land is home to many beautiful animals, but what is beautiful may also be dangerous.
Opinion of Mortals/Followers: Humans are interesting. They come into this world pure, but may be corrupted by the evil that constantly surround them. But we will not give up on them. No matter how far one is down the wrong path, they always have the option to turn back.
Corvusians
There are few Corvusians left in the kingdom. They are the servants of Raven and thus take a dark apperance. Most of the population are female, but the occasional male makes an apperance now and then.They look like very attractive humans besides that they have silver hair and eyes, and large black wings on their back. They have pale skin and long black talons instead of finger nails. They are a quiet and stealthy race that take flight when the sun goes down. They hide in the shadows and are experts in the art of spying on enemies. They are almost entirerly seperate from the rest of the Kingdom. Humans live their whole lives hearing stories of Corvusians, but only see one when their life is close to an end.
The Lakota
The Lakota are servants of Riso, and make up half of the population in the Kingdom. They live as guards and warriors who are in the daily lives of citizens. Though the are soldiers, it is in their nature to be playful and light hearted. They tend to have caramel colored skin,black hair, and a some physical trait of their spirit animal. It could be anything from a tiger tail to a patch of scaley skin. Their eyes are golden or pink, like the color of a rising sun. They dress in bright colors, like birds of paridise and have face paints to represent certain animals. The Lakota have a special ability to channel into the spirit of a certain animal and gain their magic and abilities for an amount of time. Each Lakota warrior has an animal that they may channel with and they usually have their pet at their side in combat. The Lakota are known as "The Dancing Warriors" because their style of fighting is based on flexibility and agility, and their movement are so fluid that they look like they're dancing.
They love life, and believe that all life is precious, but will take as many as needed to protect the Kingdom.
The Ming The Ming make up the other half of the Kingdom.Once Curoe was made up of Lakota and Corvusians, but then the Ming, a large nomdic tribe, invaded. The war lasted for several years, until both sides could not take anymore. They decided to make a treaty and live in peace. But more than that happened. Slowly, many Ming moved into Curoe and began to trade with the Lakota merchants. Not after long, the entire Ming tribe moved into Curoe. The Lakota didn't mind, because they forgave the Ming right after the war. The Ming and Lakota mixed well. The Ming adopted the religous beliefs of the Lakota and the Ming gave the Lakota more advanced technology (steel weapons, silk, more accurate and percise weaponary, better armor) The only thing the Ming did not enjoy about their new home, is that it was far from their native Hills. They are not as adapted to the forest as the Lakota and do not have the natural senses they do.
Civilization Name: The Monarchy of Cuore
Political System: Curore is made up of several large kingdoms in the same general area. Each kingdom has a councel of seven to deal with daily problems of citizens, but they are united as one under their kind queen. Though there are many advisors at her side, Queen Yahall has the final say in the matters of her kingdom. She rules her people with kindness and fairness, making sure that those who have committed a crime, pay for it, but she is not short of compassion. Cuore has become a close community. One the first day someone dies, the many morn, but on the second day they selebrate the life that was lived. The Kingdom makes much of it's money from selling exotic goods, such as rare fruits and ingredients to make medicine. They also sell exotic pets to royal families of other lands. But what Cuore is best known for is entertainment and beautiful arts. There is no land that knows how to party better than Cuore. There are acrobats, singers, fortune tellers, and best of all, dancers. Many would pay a high price for a Cuore Dancer and that has made Curore a wealthy city.

Personality: God: Riso is always happy. He is everything good in a situation.Riso feels the joy and love everyone alive feels. He always knows that every cloud has a silver lining and every day the sun has to rise. He loves to dance, like many of the citizens, and he loves to drink, despite his outside age. Many times he has a jug full of Cuore Wine in his hand and is surrounded by monkeys and colorful birds.
Raven is the embodiment of sorrow. She feels the pain of every person. When someone's heart breaks, they are not alone. Raven is mourning right next to them. She is definatly the more serious of the Gods of Cuore. She expresses her sorrow in beautiful songs and dances. Many times, she is seen dancing in the woods with the spirits when the sun goes down. She is often surrounded by ravens and bats.
Avatar: Queen Yahall is the first Queen to rule Cuore alone. She is strong, clever, and just. She has a great sense of pride and would never give up her morals for anything but her kingdom. She has no children and feels that her kingdom is her only love. Though she is mostly underestimated by the rulers of other lands, she is a force to be reckoned with.

The Kingdom of Cuore could be described as a mixture of the Aztec and Feudal Japanese cultures.
There are large Japanese type temples, but they are completely dwarfed be the huge Aztec Pyrimid standing in the middle of the city.
The houses range from huts and stone buildings to wooden shoin-zukuri.
Religion is very important to the city. The main temple is in habited by many priests and priestesses. During the day, priest wearing colorful robes do religous ceromonies and tend to a large fire call Riso's Heart. This fire only goes out when the sun sets and that is when the priests leave and go to sleep. Then the priestesses come in all black robes, wearing black veils and praying to Raven. All the priests and priestesses are required to learn how to fight and dance. Some would say thay can fight better even then the Warriors of Curoe.
