Description

Name: Lyulf Bareket
Age: 26
Sex:Male
Apearence:
ImageTall (6ft2), with long almost red hair. He has fine features, enhanced by his tanned smooth skin, which is only marred by a tattoo over his left shoulder. He is built to be slender, but over the years with work he has gained strong ropey muscle; giving strength to his appearance. He has broad shoulders, which slide down to his fine waist and down his long tapered legs.
Power: Extremely flexible (almost to the point of body contortion) to go along with the other stronger senses they all received from the disease.
Wepon: A climbing hook.
Family: Tanwen, his younger sister; the only family he has left after the death of his younger brother and parents.
History: He was bought up normally, brought up in a well-balanced religious family. His parents attended church every week, but he was never asked to join them; believing that it was to each person, to choose who and what they wanted to believe. Though he did not excel in school, he still passed all his subjects and went on to college, following the one subject he loved, sports. At college he trained for outdoor pursuits, quickly learning how to teach others to climb, dive and canoe.
He moved away from home shortly after his 21st birthday, traveling the world and teaching climbing in many resorts. He was quickly recognized for his talent and highly sought after; though this was not for his talent. Lyulf wanted to live life to the full, daring as only he could, pushing himself further in work than anyone asked. However as soon as he got home, he would light up a cigarette and spend the night with friends drinking and laughing. He was famed for his openhearted attitude, opening his doors to all kinds of people and inviting them into his home and life.
When whispers of the disease reached his ears, he put his house on the market, hoping to raise funds to fly home. His house though small, was prime location and sold swiftly, allowing him to fly home before the rumored cull was coming. With in a week of coming home the plague was released, sweeping over countries with fearful speed. He watched the news each night with fear, hearing of thousands of deaths, yet to reach his part of the country. It was December the 14th when it reached their small family home, brought back by the youngest, his sister; who had only just made it home in time to say goodbye to everyone. She was taken to bed quickly and despite his mother’s warnings he could not stand to one side, going into her room and tending to her. He watched over her with saddened eyes as one after the other his whole family fell into his care, not giving up even when he himself caught it.

Name: Tanwen Bareket
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Appearance: Image
Short (5ft3), with long strawberry blond curls (she insists their strawberry blond) that fall in soft ringlets to her waist. Her face has delicate strength, given by her strong jaw and intense eyes, always watching. She has grey green eyes, that do not sparkle dazzling in the light..! They are just plain normal eyes, fixed above her freckles, which dapple her cheeks and nose. She has a lovely set of curves, challenging societies view that women should be stick thin. Though she is by no means large, she had a normal body, starting with broader than average shoulders, curving over her buxom chest, down her small stomach and ample hips, ending in long well muscled legs. She is healthy, with muscles from her years of swimming and recent joining of the track team.
Power: She can project an image into another persons head (though only when she really concentrates and has her hands on their head), also she has superb vision, sharper than even most of the survivors, otherwise she has all the run of the mill bettering.
Weapon: A metal (gold colored) baseball bat, with a small fire arm for final use.
Family: Lyulf her oldest brother is all that survives from her family, her second older brother and both parents dead. Her boyfriend of 3 years also died in the plague, someone she thought of as family and lived deeply.
History: From a young age she joined her parents at church, believing with great strength in what they told her. She was devoted, the idea child, though she was often strong willed. She worked hard throughout school, achieving above average grades and finishing a year before others of her age. Over the summer they pondered where to send her, finally deciding that they would send her to whichever college she wanted to attend, knowing that she knew her own mind. After many arguments over what she decided on, she was shifted off to a London University in England, attending illustration at Central Saint Martins at 18.
She met her first boyfriend there, his name was Marcus and he was a Design student at her University. She was very wary of him at first, knowing that he was older and more experienced than her, but he pursued her. A few months into the course they went on her first date, he was interesting, highly intellectual and funny, seducing her with his easygoing attitude. By the end of the year she was changed, no longer attending church, rather spending her time with him as he was Atheist.
They had been living together for two years by the time she had finished uni, claiming her 1st with great pride. She went on a late plane home, wanting to celebrate with her family; knowing that he would follow behind her. It was the first time she would have ever brought a man home, the first time she had shown him her family, and they him. No later than a week later she caught the virus and received a call from his family, saying that he too had caught it.
She was the first to have it at home and was relieved to come out of the illness early too, taking over for her older brother when he could take no more of it. She looked after them with such care as to put hospitals to shame, but alas first her parents, then her second oldest brother passed. She could not mourn their loss, doubling her efforts to pull her brother out of it, though she knew statistically she had little chance. On the 23rd of December she received a call from Marcus’s mother, telling him that he had, alas, passed away the day before. She spent days crying over her brother, now convinced that the only thing she had left was on deaths door. Only a week later he pulled out, regaining consciousness for the first time and got better swiftly afterwards.
