Aye, Yer not to bright are ye?
Bjurnhir is bitter due to that his people betrayed him some years ago. He can still be in a good mood and smoke on his pipe and sing old dwarven songs. Like most dwarfs he has a love for beer and other alcohol (quickest way to befriend him is by offering a drink... or two) and the art of making quality weapons and armors. So with a beer in his hand and a story about making rune infested axes keeps his good mood up!But as soon as his past or just questions about Hir Hall are brought up his good mood is nowhere to be found.
Like most dwarfs he's not that keen of humans. But being in a human kingdom and living in it for 3 years have made him accept and even like a few of this tallies.
Skills: Bjurnhir is a runemage, meaning that he can use rune magic to make protecting auras, basic attackmagics or enhance weapons, armors or shields with the magic of different runes. Fire, ice or whatever strikes the costumers fancy. He is a decent blacksmith but often aid other blacksmiths by enhancing their products. He can also make runes but since humans often don't trust runes and dwarven magic he haven't been able to really put that use in a while.
He knows how to fight and his weapon of choice is his trusted old rune hammer
His equipment is simple. The only thing he really cares about is his pipe and his rune hammer, Ogre Bane. The hammer has many uses like fighting, casting rune magic or force rune magic into weapons and armor. He wears a red robe with a hooded mantle made out of bear pelt.
Other then that there's not that much of importance except some book about his kingdoms history and beer.
The Kingdom of Hir Hall is a dwarven kingdom far up north. The whole kingdom is inside the mountain of Tyrsenbrun and there's one way in. Thru the gate of Goblinskölden, a huge gate made of iron that protects the kingdom from the outsiders. After the king of Hir hall, Ajunhir died of old age the kindom was supposed to go to the more talanted and wise younger son Bjurnhir. Since he was more skilled in runic magic and history than his brother Bjarnur. But Bjarnur had other plans. He gathered the more greedy and power hungry of the dwarven lords and planned to claim the throne himself.
One night when Bjurnhir was in the great blacksmith and inspecting a newly made shield he was ambushed and captured. When he woke up he was on the road leading from Hir Hall. Confused and cold he traveled back to the Great Gate to get back in. When he reached it the guards yelled out from the small windows that he had been banished by King Bjarnur.
Now Bjurnhir knew that he had to leave the north. So he follow the road that the traders use when they are traveling down south to trade. Eventually he reached the small human village of Wintersun and left for the first time the snowy north. He stayed there for a year. Working as a blacksmiths helper. One day a caravan from Hir Hall came to town to trade. Bjurnhir sought the traders to find that the leader of the caravan was his old friend Ruger. Ruger had volunteered to lead the caravan with the plan to find his friend and give him his hammer. Bjurnhir thanked his friend and asked about what was new in the kingdom. Ruger just shook his head and said that there was nothing left to come home to for Bjurnhir.
Bjurnhir decided to travel south to reach the heart of this human kingdom. After overhearing gossips about the newly found guild of heroes he knew that that could be a nice change from the open road and set his sights to find it.
