Azalea Von Abendroth's Story

"ENTER!" A loud voice booms. "ENTER, AZALEA!"

A tall, ivory-skinned girl opened the door. Her hair was long, black at the scalp, maroon and then silver, her bangs fell over one silver eye. She was dressed in the fashion of a street fighter and she was holding a severed human arm. "I said enter, she snapped in a British/Italian mixed accent. "Can't you take the hint, kid?"

"Shifters know all, kid," Shadow replied gruffly, grabbing the girl and pulling her in. "You don't know how to fight and it's hella dark outside...bad combination. Go ask Tristan for help, I'm busy cutting apart bodies in the basement. That's an off-limits area, kid, ya got it?"

"My name is Shadow Alrea. I am the Arii Mafia boss..." Shadow spoke slowly as if she wasn't quite sure of what she was saying. "As far as being human...I am far from it. However it would suit your purpose not to know, Kid." She sighed, sitting down on the couch, her black bangs falling over her right eye, which was obscured by an eye patch. "You can't go back home."

"They won't remember you. I do, though...and I'm not happy with what you did."

"It'll come back to ya, hero," Shadow replied grimly. "Off to bed wit' ya..."

Starkly was watching contently when Shadow told her to go to bed she had just started to stand when Shadow vanished leaving her and the other girl she said softly "Hi...do you need a room...I don't know of any open ones but you can sleep in mine until your settled...I mean if you want to..." Starkly looked at the girl and thought yet another person to see yet another person to shun you..no she thought again I will make a life here I have to there is nowhere else..she shut out her inner voices and turned her attention back to the girl and smiled shyly.

Upstairs Starkly heard screams and slamming she looked at the other girl and said "I'm gonna make sure no one is hurt I'll be back.." She turned up the stairs and reached Shadow's room quietly in time to see her grab Tristan's arm she spoke softly "Shadow is um..everything ok do you want..some help cleaning up..?" Her voice quivering a little as she took in the room which was a mess of wood and blood in her mind came the voice 'Yes it is a mess but it means that the souls are weak....take them..' No! She thought back they have done nothing wrong to me go away she came back to herself and looked at Shadow again.
