Name: Kyori Sarusake
Age: 17
Race: Potencia
Role: Childhood friend of Len and Rin, more so to Len than Rin
Description:
Personality: Kyori is a very nice person when you get to meet and understand him. Since he is mute, he tends to keep a lot of things bottled up inside, making him pretty quiet around others. But, his powers keep all of his inside feelings, secrets, and thoughts unlocked for anyone to see. Raised from mature, Southern parents, he grew up respecting others and quickly learning the difference between right and wrong. He has his strong emotions, speed, and eyes from his mother, but his other facial features, stamina, and courage from his father. He has his weaknesses though, like how he is prone to judging people by their first impressions, another thing he got from his father. He has trouble with trust, even though his loyalty never falters. His heart holds tight onto doing the right thing and doing good, and it has always been that way.
Side: Good
Homeland: Cendrillon
Powers: Has the ability to project thoughts and mental images from his mind that he has seen, wants others to see, or is just randomly thinking. He can not prevent things from being seen or heard. He can also control others, by sending a commanding thought to their mind making them forget everything they are doing and instantly consentrating on their command. Once they have finished it, the mind-control "hum" goes away and they have control of their mind again.
Likes: Chocolate. The opposite gender. Music. Laughter. Listening to people talk. Close-combat. Reading. Drawing.
Dislikes: People who think they are superior to everyone. Passive-aggressive sayings. Being ignored. Being called "boy" or "kid" or any other term that makes him feel childish.
Hobbies: Practicing silencing his thoughts and working on his artistic abilities.
History: Kyori was born and raised by Southern farmers. His father, Rhior Sarusake, had been a warrior for the Cendrillon army and retired when he had a heart attack on the battle field. Rhior met Kyori's mother, Jyana Hurusakii, at the hospital where he was treated after his attack. She was the assistant nurse who couldn't help but be by Rhior's side the whole time he went through his time of healing. She found him highly attractive and somewhat irresistable, and he, to her unknowingly, found her the same way. After Rhior's recovery, he proposed to Jyana and they quickly married. A year later, Kyori was born. Rhior trained his son in the ways of Southern hospitality and respect, which was easily picked up by Kyori. Jyana helped him to read and write, which is around the time when she discovered his muteness. His parents quickly learned to live with his quietness and continued to tutor him. By 12 years old, his reading and writing had advanced, along with his speed. His father's stamina training was going well, just slow. At 15, Kyori's father was sent off to fight in the army because of a high demand of warriors. That year, when the fight was over and the retired warriors returned home, Rhior did not return. Kyori continued to teach himself about stamina and endurance. His speed had become excellent and he could usually beat his brother, Kioko, who was born three years after him, at duels. Where Kyori lacked in strength, Kioko lacked in speed. At 17, Kyori had become close to Len and Rin, his childhood friends, and he mastered the skill of fighting with a sword and daggers, for he favored close-combat.
Theme Song: Awake and Alive by Skillet
Other: Has a younger brother name Kioko who stays at home with Jyana rather than in Cendrillon like Kyori.
