Description: Fionn is a foreigner—his mother re-married and his name changed legally from O'Brian to Shizuka once he moved from Ireland to Japan. Unlike most Irish, he is fair-haired, however he carries the yellow-green eyes his mother has as well. He stands at 6'1” with a slender build and enough muscle to be a “handy-man” for the hostesses. Or a model, plaything, bouncer, big brother, or in some cases, a doctor. His Japanese is fairly good, but his brogue is still pretty bad when he gets frustrated or angry.

Personality: Surprisingly, Fionn is afraid of advances from women and his time in the Hostess Club is spent trying to work up courage to be with them. However, if one girl gets hurt, demands his full attention, or begins to cry—he gladly lets any shyness disappear and cares for her wholeheartedly. This usually triggers his full personality to show where he laughs, plays games, even jokes around or flirts until he's reminded that he is afraid by some action. He isn't shy, just afraid to act up around the girls. And sometimes, he quickly forgets he's fearful—and sometimes isn't reminded until weeks later. He's getting better, over time. But always he refers to the girls by using “Miss”.

Crush: He is terribly in love with miss Nakamura, but admires Ayumi Kyoto's and Miss Kisa's spunk.
Likes: Formal Balls, good attention, and surprisingly, broken things that allow him to have an excuse be with the girls.
Dislikes: Young men assaulting the girls, Watching the girls be used for bad things, liars, things that can't be fixed, broken hearts, playboys.
Fears: “Heavily Endowed” or “Beautiful” women, and getting haircuts—even though he feels he has to get one eventually because he works with classy people—he still has yet to do the bi-monthly deed.

History: Fionn was born in Cork, Ireland to an animator mother and a chain-smoker guitarist of a father. His childhood was as normal as an Irish childhood could get—his first-learned language was English with a heavy brogue—and later, he learned Irish. As a toddler, his mother would go out on long business trips and his father on occasion had a gig in a pub. This left the young Fionn with his babysitter, Maria most of the time.

Maria—a very beautiful teenager with long dark hair and gifted with quite the ample chest always kept Fionn terribly, terribly close as a baby. Even as a toddler, did he remember fearing suffocation being amongst her “gifts”. This was not the root of his life-long fear, however. When his mother was out—his father often sent Maria out on errands. At that time, Fionn had yet to receive his first haircut at five years old and he was beginning to be mistaken as a handsome little girl.

Maria packed him in the car, took him downtown, and let a woman at her salon have him for an hour. This woman, much prettier than Maria with red curls and heavy, dark makeup gladly took the boy into her care promising that they could watch him while she got groceries. When she came back, Fionn and the woman was gone. They were discovered at the bus stop two blocks away. She'd done what she'd said she would do and his white-blonde hair was trimmed to his collar, but the boy had been handled roughly and evidence showed on his forearms, neck, and back. He still won't tell anyone what happened—but whenever it comes time to do the deed, things become like a death-walk until it's last minute—then he acts as if he's got a gun to his head. Unfortunately, he has to admit to himself that he looks nice when he's cleaned up.


When he was fourteen, his father died of lung cancer. His mother had thrown herself into work—and accidentally into a new relationship with the head of an anime and video-gaming studio. Fionn had to develop a third language—Japanese—and over time he had to get used to a new, surprisingly rich father. Mr. Shizuka tried very hard to make the boy happy—even moving them to a gorgeous new home in Okinawa—however, with the awkwardness of having new family they had both decided that it was best to send him away to school, much to the dismay of his mother. Fionn now attends Kaoki High—working along-side their most elite club as a maintenance-man, brother, and protector of all things. Besides, the gentlemen need to know how the hostesses are worth their time...and boy, can Fionn really talk!

Other: His not-so-secret secret is that he wants to follow in Mr. Shizuka's footsteps and own an animation company. He is a talented artist and sometimes wishes that someone would ask him about his drawings.
