Personality

Jade appears really sweet and kind, but is really manipulative. She tends to get whatever she desires. She is a loose cannon. She is a chameleon, and adapts to her surroundings easily. She tends to get along with almost anyone. Yet she still tends to keep to herself because she doesn't really like people. When she doesn't like you she has no problem letting you know, but prefers different methods of confrontation. If she dislikes you she will befriend you then she will sabotage you. When she likes you she is very loyal, and has your back. Even though she gives the appearance of ease she is really in a state of mental turmoil. She deals with bipolar disorder which leads her into arguments frequently. She is really emotionally unstable and has a hard time controlling her anger. She used to lash out on almost anyone who annoyed her, but now takes pleasure in sabotaging anyone who remotely aggravates her mood. Despite her sweet fesad she still has trouble making and keeping friends without getting angry at them. The way she treats anyone is a total toss up and one day she is your friend the next your enemy.

She tends not to talk much, but when she does it is either to praise or insult someone. You can always find her carrying around an array of books, but she almost always has a dictionary around. She loves learning new words, and often uses a new one everyday. She enjoys insulting people astutely. Secretly she carries a very melodic singing voice. She loves to sing when she is by herself, and does so frequently. She mostly sings childlike harmonies. Overall she enjoys watching people and can be very observant. She usually passes her time by watching people and analyzing their foibles.

History

When Jade was very young she lost her mother. She was around the age of 9. Her parents were happy, but her mother was infected with an untreatable disease. When she goes to sleep she is haunted by nightmares. She grew up surrounded by wealth, but believes material things are pointless. Her father is the CEO of an important bank company who barely notices her existence. They rarely spent anytime together when she was young due to her uncanny resemblance to her mother. She often avoids her father now who is attempting to make up for lost time. The one thing she believes her father did right was hire her old nanny; Elise. Elise was somewhat of a motherly figure to Jade growing up, and her opinion is very important to her. Elise quit or was rather laid off two years ago because her father believed Jade was old enough to care for herself at 14. Jade rarely gets to see her because she has taken a job elsewhere. When Jade does see her as opposed to speaking on the phone they have in depth conversations discussing an array of things. Her father allows her to wander around and doesn't put any restrictions on her as long as she gets good grades. Elise on the other hand had always enforced rules on where she was allowed to go, but now Jade tend to circulate the area going where ever she pleases. Jade has always gotten good grades, but since Elise left she doesn't bother anymore.
