Personality

Soma is generally a composed character, though occasionally he can act with coldness and hostility, especially towards those he has just met. Soma is a gentle person though appears otherwise, he builds barriers around himself rather than opening up to his friends. He has a kind heart and longs to protect his friends and will never betray the ones he holds dear. Soma has a heavy "tsundere" personality, he sports a scary aura that makes most of the students wary of him, he can also glare in a way that many of his friends call it scary. However, his innate nature is to protect those close to him, his cold attitude towards those he loves is likely to push them away and keep everyone at a distance. Soma can be very closed and sometimes difficult to understand or be close to, especially since he has a habit of not expressing his true feelings and hiding them behind his “tsundere” personality. He has a lot of attitude, and he often acts as if he doesn’t care about anything in order to hide all the scars and hurt inside him that have nowhere to go.

Equipment

-Soma does not posses these weapons currently and will acquire them in the RP later on.

-A suit of armor which he activates as he enters a battle. Upon donning the armor, Soma gains about five feet in height and becomes EXTREMELY heavy. His hair grows long to about the back of his knees.


The armor, bestows him with incredible fighting prowess, allowing him to tap into infinite reserves of power, enabling him to fight for prolonged periods of time without rest and to increase his own strength. The various eyes adorned all over the armor suggest that they are for sight enhancement as the helmet features no visor.


-A sword named Ookami: a nodachi with an odd blunt tip in place of a sharp point. The sword is attached to a sheath on his back with a slot to allow him to draw the sword without straining his arm due to its long length. It appears to bear the capability to kill beings that otherwise would be immortal, or have rapid healing properties that would make them difficult or impossible to kill. This makes Soma an equally dangerous foe to both mortal men as well as more powerful beings. Soma repeatedly claims that despite its cursed nature, it is a weapon meant to destroy evil, hinting that it may have holy properties.

History

There's not much to say about Soma's history. He was born to a poor family living on the border of Ireland and the United Kingdom. His father was often drunk and abusive and his mother was hard working and didn't pay much attention to him. When he was about 13, Soma could not take all the family drama any longer and ran away to Britain. He lived on the streets for about a few months until the von Schiksal family took him in. He was actually caught in their house, stealing some food and money when they found him. Instead of turning him in to the police, the family decided to take care of him. Hungry, cold, and in need of attention, Soma reluctantly accepted the offer. The von Schiksal's had one condition: that he attend school and get a proper education if they were to care for him. Soma agreed and was sent to school. Soma tried the best he could to repay the von Schiksals. He got excellent grades and even began to learn the cello. By the time he graduated middle school, he already had scholarship offers to many different high schools and was a gifted cellist. Despite all of this, Soma never really had any friends. He got along well with the family but never with anyone else outside the house. He kept to himself most of the time and would never open up to anybody except his sister, Saya, who probably was his only friend at the time. Now attending high school and Saya gone off to college, Soma must now deal with the changes that have suddenly come upon him. But nothing in the world could ready him for the events that were about to unfold. Nothing at all....
