She still wasn't as bold as her sister. And never would be.
Sighing softly, Sven stepped forwards, shaking his massive rack of antlers out of the branches of the pine which had sheltered him. His pelt lit to fire in the sunlight.

Capri pranced towards Sven, she was not as tall as him, but had already surpassed her mothers height. "Hello Daddy. This is Mason." Capri smiled at Mason, though there was no happiness in her eyes, only revenge.
Mason nodded to the buck, "Hello." He knew he was in a bad situation... if this buck found out which herd he came from.. he was screwed.

"You are new here," He answered, hardly stirring when Cyrene ducked behind his legs, "Was there something you wanted with my daughters?"

"Alright Dad, I am sure he uhm... gets the picture." She nuzzled him, Capri did not want any buck in her life. She only needed her Dad.

"You gotta' lot of fawns 'round here. Gee." Mason shook his head, his old herd only had one fawn besides him. "I'm Mason by the way," he mentioned glazing over her with his amber eyes. He was a good looking young buck, he was strong, well built, and handsome. Capri looked towards Mason.
"Mason. Come on." Capri pranced off, Mason followed behind her, "We are going to the other side of the meadow..." Her tail flicked as she bounced, "You all can come."

Shaking his ruff, Sven snorted and followed the young does. A wordless warning.

Riyan had been up that morning grazing in the meadow. His sister stood next to him relaxing while watching something in the distance. Avelane had become quieter than before whereas before she gave birth she rarely talked and now she mostly didn't talk at all unless she wanted too or unless it was to Sinnle to himself. Avelane looked over to him probably having noticed him watching her.
"What is it?" He shook his head. "It's nothing. Your so quiet sometimes." Avelane let out a small chuckle and nosed his long fur near his shoulder. "Just like how your getting bigger. I just don't feel like saying much when there are so many other things to do. Often when you talk you miss things that you usually never hear. Like the soft yet heavy sound of the bees droning in the distance." Riyan stared at her before shaking his head once more. "I don't know what you mean." "I know." Avelane replied. She lowered her head to continue grazing leaving Riyan to puzzle over what she said. He turned to look for his daughter and mate. He slightly wondered if they were still sleeping.
Kyrie bounced out of the thicket frightened from something. She had been going to visit her cousin, Sinnle, when she had spotted a buck that she didn't know and wanna know. "Father! There's some stag in the forest with Sven and my cousin." She noticed Avelane look up and scan the forest edge with interest. Kyrie figured her aunt was looking for Sinnle and wondering what trouble her daughter had gotten into. Kyrie understood that quite well. She shook her head beginning to shiver in fright. "I saw him! He was after Capri and Cyrene! He was about a head shorter than you." Kyrie paused for a moment then went on. "About Capri's height, I think." She bounced around her father being pretty tall herself. She wasn't as tall as Capri but she was taller than Sinnle. She grunted and paused to look up at her father. "I think your fine. I'm sure I can protect you. Is that good?" Kyrie nodded easily satisfied with the reassurance and ran off to go find Sinnle again.

Mason looked at the long grass and quickened his pace and lowered his head and grazed ravenously. It was so delicious and he was so hungry.
Capri giggled breaking his concentration, "someone's hungry." She stepped up to him and lowered her head so it was next to his as they both ate.
"You ain't got a clue Capri." He laughed sweetly, noticing Sven was still there, but Capri made no hesitation to get very close to the young buck. Sinnle bounced over to wear Cyrene was and Capri lifted her head and bleated sweetly to her as if to say good morning, she looked to Sinnle, then to Mason and raised one brow then lowered her head once again grazing next to Mason.
