Amori was back and watching Cyrene and saw her playing which was fine now that her attention was on her, but she still worried about Capri, though couldn't help but giggle as Cyrene rammed into Mara.

Capri cocked her head half ignoring her father and jumped up onto a stump so she was face to face with him. "Cyrene is fine. I am going to explore more." She took a good look around the forest and saw the tiny creek about fifty yards away from her father, without a second thought she jumped from the long and made her way over to the creek before Sven could stop her.

Sven sighed softly, pursuing his daughter. He said nothing, gave no objection to her exploring. He would follow her until she got hungry, then guide her back to her mother. There was no way the little fawn could outrun him, anyways.

Mara was surprised when Cyrene ran into her but nonetheless she started to laugh, rolling away and untangling their legs. "Is okay Cyrene. Mara is okay. Cyrene okay?" She said, her vocabulary still limited, though she understood all the words she was using. She stood up, making sure not to step on Cyrene. She took a few steps closer and nudged Cyrene in the side. "Come play." She said, jumping back and tossing her head around. She turned to Alore and lowered her head to him. "Stand up. Come on," She said, nipping his side gently. Kira chuckled as she watched the exchange between the fawns.

Sven considered Capri for a moment, amused as he stepped easily over the stream.
"Follow me," He coaxed gently, lowering his head so that his antlers would not catch in the branches as he moved deeper into Evermist Wood.

Capri followed him, prancing like Amori did to keep up, her head bobbing with each bounce. She wasn't afraid as the woods became darker, and the trees became thicker. Everything amazed her, the way the light filtered through the leaves and the smell of the rotting leaves. Her dark coat hid her in the shadows of the tall trees making her a tad more difficult to see.

"Watch," He coaxed gently.
And then he lowered his head, so that the front tine of one of his antlers dipped into the water. Ripples spread out in perfect, swelling circles as he raised his antler again. They formed patterns across the pond, breaking up Capri's reflection.

Capri tilted her head to one side, "Where I am? I mean, Where am I?" She corrected herself quickly. "It is.. uhmm..." She searched for the correct word which she did not know, and remembered her mother calling her this a few times, "beautiful?" She looked to her father than back to the water, his massive distorted reflection towered over her.

Capri looked to her father skeptically then barley touched the water with her hoof then brought it back to her side, the ripples swarmed from the same spot she placed her hoof, they were smaller and less rapid as her father's, but nonetheless, she made them. This was a moment she would always remember of Sven.

Mischief flickered in Sven's eyes. Mischief like her daughter's.
Lowering his head again, as though to touch the water, he gave Capri a gentle shove with his antlers, tumbling her into the shallow pool. It was not dangerous; it was very, very shallow. But it would be her first experience with swimming.
A good game, and a good lesson for escaping from various forest dangers.

Sinnle finished feeding once more and pressed close to her mother watching the other fawns play. She flicked her ears as Cyrene finally began playing. she was a bit happy that the shy fawn had come out of her shell a bit. She looked up at her mother and nuzzled the short fur on her shoulder. "Mother." Avelane looked down and brushed her cheek over her daughters. Sinnle apparently was satisfied with this and turned back to watching the other fawns.
