Age:

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
Image
Lori stands at a relatively small height of 5'1''. She weighs just under 110 pounds. She has a relatively normal looking frame; she's not too skinny and she's not too fat. Her eyes are a light gray color with bits of blue in them, and they always seem to have a lively shine to them. Her hair is a bright blonde - so blonde, that it sometimes appears to be white even. She keeps her hair long, and takes lots of time to make sure that it is tangle free and healthy.

Lori's work clothes consist of either a white or black dress, or a black blazer, silk undershirt and black skirt. She's more fond of wearing dresses though, and she likes to make sure that they're all exactly knee length, and they're all flowy - she hates the stereotypical tight 'secretary clothes'.

Occupation:
Administrative Assistant - Lori takes care of basically anything that just has to get done, whether that be scheduling meetings, making calls, or taking care of paperwork...

Personality:
Lori is a bit of an oddball. One moment, she could be calm, collected, and very professional. The next, she could be laughing about something that wouldn't seem funny to anyone else, or she could be having a hyper moment. She's just one of those people that has others scratching their head in confusion. She loves laughter more than anything else, and she loves it when people smile. She has her ticks though, and she has things that just make her want to scream - things like people popping their gum, chewing like a cow, or when people put their elbows on the table - and honestly, she sometimes just wants to freak at people when she gets really worked up. She's usually able to keep her calm though... usually.

History:
Lori Beatty was born on the 11th of August to George and Emily Beatty. She was their oldest daughter and child, and she was soon followed by three boys - Christopher, David, and Michael. Her family life growing up was a pretty happy one, though in later years of looking back on it, she would have only wished for one thing to be different. That one thing was the fact that her father wasn't always around. He worked for the Department of Defense, and when he wasn't working off at various sites around where they lived in New Jersey and over the state line in Pennsylvania, he was away on business trips. She never exactly knew everything that his job entailed, though there were days in Elementary and Middle School when she was allowed to come to work with him - those were "Take Your Child To Work Days", and she loved them more than anything.

As she grew and made her way through high school, Lori had to begin to think about college - her dad insisted on it. But, like Lori always did, she put the idea out of her mind and just continued on with what she loved doing. That meant that she spent most of her time in the theater of her school, or in the choir room, or even just down in the art wing. She was talented in most anything that had to do with the creative aspect of things. But she was a bit absent minded, and so when her senior year came around, she wasn't really sure what she was going to do with herself. She felt as if she liked too many things to just pick one thing to concentrate on for a job. So, in an attempt to make sure she had a chance to survive in the work force, she took some business and administrative classes in college, as well as the basics. She turned out to be really good at it, and she soon graduated college with honors.

Upon graduating, Lori wasn't really sure where she was going to work at, but that wasn't a problem for her for long. The Peltzer Group, a company in Maine, had contacted her to hire her because apparently she was what they were looking for. She went through the interview, and it was decided that she would begin working there immediately - apparently, her good grades, knowledge of business, and fathers position in the government had landed her the job. Before she could start working there though, she had to go through all kinds of background checks and tests. Taking them really didn't bother her, for she had grown up with a father working in that kind of field. She ended up passing the tests, and was finally one hundred percent hired.

Lori always ended up being over loaded with work though, whether it be for a new project, or just files that had to be put into storage. But Lori loved it, no matter how tedious it could be at times. Over the next few years, she continued on in the same position; she had grown rather fond of it, and all the people who worked with her. She was a bit odd compared to the rest of them as she saw it, but she did what she needed to get done, and then some. Plus, she was happy with it.

Now, she has been just swamped with work that just had to get done, and she felt the need to finish it all up. A four day weekend had been approaching for a while now, and Lori viewed this as the perfect opportunity to get her work done - she didn't have anywhere to go then anyway, so it would have been a waste of precious work time if she skipped out on it.

So begins...
