Personality: Eleanor is a spontaneous, entertaining and adapt quickly to the people around her, but struggles to allow anyone to know her well enough to betray her. She is a positive and strong willed person who fights for what she believes is right. Even though she has been hurt in her past, she ignores the scars and goes on with her life, refusing to be dragged under. She stands for righteousness, and would talk about her opinions if allowed. She won't disobey direct orders from higher authorities, but does not always agree with their decisions. Eleanor would sometimes be a too much of a coward to sneak around, [or steal from the rich to give to the poor] but envies the self confidence and guts of those who can. She believes in second chances, but will be more skeptical to trust someone who has broken it.

Likes: Eleanor likes listening to someone singing and playing the piano, wishing she was able to do that as well. She is learning how to read, which would definitely fall under 'likes' if she was fluent in it. She enjoys a day's outing with her fellow prostitute friends and love watching animals grazing and walking around. The moon fascinates her. She often asks a more educated prostitute to read poems to her. She's curious about other countries.

Dislikes: Eleanor dislikes men mistreating her and her friends and thinking that they own her. She also dislikes the people's behaviour towards her in public. She dislikes violence of any kind, but is forced to indulge in some due to her profession.

Fears: Eleanor hates spiders, insects and mice. She's scared of being abandoned, and of the dark. She is afraid of dying,

Crush: Eleanor wasn't allowed to love anyone, until she met Duke Marcelle, so she doesn't have any crushes of late except for the Duke.

History

Eleanor was born in the brothel, where she was raised by her mother (a prostitute). She never met her father, who was said to be one of her mother's clients. She knew no other life outside the brothel, and accepted her fate without rebellion. She was taught not to love any man or the bright future he would portray with elaboration of infinite gold and forever happiness.

She had a few friends growing up with her, giving her a satisfactory feeling of fulfillment and love.

Her mother died when she turned 16, which made her grow into a more mature and independent woman. With no one to work for her food, she decided that she would have to be ready to take the responsibility, or face the consequence of being thrown out.
She continued to live her existence at the brothel until she turned 20, already have accepted the fact that she wasn't the prettiest, smartest or the best prostitute around.

She ignored the pleas of men who wanted her to be with them, until she met Duke Marcelle when she went for an evening stroll. It was love at first sight, and he needed not to ask for she already decided to leave everything she knew to be with him. She went back that evening to collect her few belongings, and waited on his doorstep for him to open his house for her.

A year has passed since that evening.
