HISTORY
Brett was born, along with his sister, on June 13th. His sister(Straight Girl #3) is older by two minutes and she never lets him forget it. After his youngest sister, Jade(Queer Girl #1), was born, Brett felt like he didn't have a purpose in his family. Everyone seemed to have a role and he didn't couldn't figure out his. Brett began to suffer from depression. Jade and Willow were there with constant support for Brett's lack of purpose. He loves both his sisters and couldn't picture life without them.
In elementary school, everyone seemed to have a niche and Brett couldn't seem to fit anywhere. He was gangly and awkward looking so no one wanted to be his friend. He became a target for bullies, because his weak appearance and lack of confidence. He found solace in movies. Every movie showed a handsome, athletic guy who got the girl. Despite the fact that they were often the villain, Brett longed to be that guy. He began playing any sport he could. He started working out and eating better. Brett slowly built an athletic physique and his appearance became more appealing. He found he was most talented in basketball and football, but he continues playing any sport his school offers. Brett finally felt like he had a purpose. He was popular, fit, and every girl seemed to swoon over him. He didn't think life could get any better.
When he started junior high, he found competition with a new girl (Queer Girl #2). She was just as talented as he was and Brett couldn't stand it. He had finally become the cool guy at school, but some tomboy had to come in and ruin it. Brett tried to force her out through intimidation, threats, and sabotage. The fierce rivalry began after he spread a rumor that she was a lesbian since no 'normal' girl could be that good at sports. Brett had no idea it was true. After (Queer Girl #2) had heard he was the source, the two got into a physical fight. Their coaches had to break them up and suspended them for the rest of the reason. The two have hated each other since.
When his little sister(Queer Girl #1) found at he had outed (Queer Girl #2), she was outraged. He tried to explain that he didn't know so when his sister told him she was like her, he was shocked. Homosexuals, to him, were a unnecessary group of people. They come in claiming to be special, because of who they have sex with. They think being homosexual means they should be given things instead of working for them or deserve special treatment. He could not believe the sister he grew up with could be like the girl who was ruining his athletic career. The two began to distance themselves from each other. Brett valued his role as the popular athlete and having a homosexual sister didn't fit with that. When his girlfriend (Straight Girl #1) had outed his sister, he gained some sympathy for the Queer Group and regretted what he did to (Queer Girl #2). His pride kept him from apologizing to (Queer Girl #2) and he still despises the group. He does keep tabs on his little sister (Queer Girl #1) and tries to keep the bullies away from her, but if it threatens his position, he backs off. All Brett wants is to get an athletic scholarship and go on to play pro. If the money for doing this 'social experiment' means less college debt, he can survive the torture of living with his enemy.
