Description

Dimme Boarding School Student File

ImageFull Legal Name:Olivia Fiori
Preferred Name:Lili
Birthday: Nov 2 2001
Gender:Female
Monster:Mermaid
Notes on the student: Upon arriving to the school, she was quite vibrant, and is spite of her surprising amount of vanity and pride, was quite eager to make friends and learn about them and the school. Her current state has made her more self-conscious but she seems inclined to overcome that.
Outside connections:She has 2 younger sisters and a brother. Her Mother is the one who desired Olivia to study abroad after an accident involving a bus. Her Father was more reluctant but agreed after it was explained she could receive treatment to remedy her current condition. Before the accident Olivia danced Traditional Mexican folk, as well as other south american styles. She also enjoys playing the guitar and violin.
Discipline Record:Despite occasional aggression and threatening behavior, either by making a hissing or clicking noise and baring her teeth, verbal retorts, or spitting water at varying pressures, she has yet to actually harm anyone, probably out of common sense(not being hungry also reduces aggression significantly). She has shown to be fairly uncomfortable but with little desire to leave. She seems to be resistant to glamour, auditory manipulation and mind control, and can tolerate electrical shocks better than some students, but is very weak to fire and smoke. She seems to be able to manipulate water, but it seems time or further adjustments must be made to allow better control. Seems to be able to understand marine life but cannot answer back as of yet. When swimming in the pool or her room, she has shown the ability to fuse her legs together with rapidly growing scales to form a tail, though it's vertical and she swims like a shark. It takes about 15 minutes to an hour for her to lose her tail after getting completely out of the water. She is allowed to be undressed when she swims to keep her clothes from hindering her ability to swim, though she isn't allowed to go around campus unclothed, despite her scales making it seem she lacks any genitalia whatsoever. (Not like she can wear underwear anymore... Or socks, tights, shoes, anything below her waist...)
Extraneous Info: After the initial metamorphosis her epidermis was replaced with brightly colored scales , predominantly Scarlet with some gold scales sparsely coated her front torso upper arms and thighs, with the red barely giving way on the center of her back to a bluish gray with even more sparse silver flakes, specifically near her dorsal fin, that runs from her nape to the very end of her spine, which she seems to be able to fold flat against her back. Her lower arms, hands, calves and feet also gradiate from scarlet with gold flakes to grayish blue and silverish flakes to obsidian black, though the black seems to cover only the tips of her fingers and part of the webbing that formed between. Her forehead seems to have clear scales over light skin before gradiating to Scarlet, with gold scales more predominant on the top of her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. All of her hair has fallen out, though the hair on her scalp has begun to grow back, albeit nearly platinum blonde from her ears to her previous hairline, the rest bright red. Her teeth resemble that of a piranha. If she remains out of water long enough, she'll shed her scales and gain a more human like skin, though it seems to be an uncomfortable process. She has gills at the sides of her neck, and while she can still breathe air, she seems to be able to breathe water more easily, so until that is fixed, she will wear a tank that feeds water to her gills through a special collar. She can refill the tank at any water fountain.

So begins...

There were a hell of a lot of nice cars dropping off kids- with the exception of some taxis and a military vehicle (?)- but looking at those cars while they approached the school made Olivia worry she would be in a school of snobs.

Awwwwwwwwwwww, now I have to put effort into showing I'm not inferior. MEH. She shrugged to herself. Then remembered the crutches.

"There is a small chance that she can walk again, but anything else-" She smiled as she remembered the doctors face as she jumped out of the wheelchair, firmly holding onto Diana, her sister, as she snapped, 'How the hell am I gonna do that lounging in a rolly chair!?' It was probably the morphine talking, but hey, crutches. They were the kinds with a brace thing to hold onto your arms, with a handle you held onto to....well, hold the crutches.

As they pulled up near the school, her father sighed. He wasn't much of a talker, which was honestly a relief considering how painful this rude would've been with her mom.

She didn't want to think about it, it made her sick.

"Mija..." He began.

"Mande?"

"Te portas bien. Vas a estar aqui 4 años sola. No te podremos ayudar. Y no te dejes. Nunca te dejes."

"Voy estar bien, Pa," Olivia laughed, as she stepped out of the old white mercedes. Black DID make cars look classier....

She began making her way to the building, the crutches making an interesting hollow klink every time they touched the ground. She grinned at the lady behind the desk as said lady handed keys to some kid. "Hello! I'm Olivia!" She said cheerfully as she walked in. She stepped off to the side to let her Dad through as he brought along a single, large black case, fairly battered with age. She took a seat, setting the crutches to her right, as her dad filled the paperwork. She concentrated her efforts to swing her legs, even though she hadn't been able to move her right leg more than a twitch, and her left leg kinda shot little pangs of pain when it moved, though it wasn't much better than the right one.

Maybe she should have given more thought to the bus thing.

She heaved herself back up again, stumbling a bit as she regained standing position. The crutches were still a little awkward for her. Her father gave her a hug and ruffled her hair. "Pues pongo esto en tu cuarto y nos vemos." She held her hand out, leaning her weight against him as the receptionist handed her a key and explained how everything worked. She got the gist. "-Your room will be 118. Welcome-" her hand clapsed around the key. The lady said more, but it didn't seem important to remember at the moment.

She walked by a few other kids, whom she only glanced at with a smile as she went to her room.

After a good bit of stairs, they dropped the case off in her room. She only glanced at it briefly, as she intended to go back to the other teens and introduce herself, as well as accompany her dad back to the door, as she wouldn't see him for a while.

She wished her sisters were here.

After the final goodbyes were uttered, she klinked her way back to where she had seen the others, the klinking rather loud due to her trying to run using mostly her arms for support. She abruptly stopped- sort of. She kinda stumbled again."HI! I just walked past, like, twice, but I wanted the case put away first! Because it be hell to do that myself at the moment. ANYWAYS~ My name is Olivia! Guess we'll all be stuck here for a while, 'eda?"

Jake stood still, watching the boy and the girl. Of course from a respectful distance, its not like he wanted to disturb them. When the girl looked over in his direction, he quickly looked away. She looked at me! What do I do? Should I say hi? Should I keep walking? Why do is it so hard to know what to do., Jake thought, his gaze turning to the floor. He heard the door to the school open, and the Klink of metal on the floor. Slowly raising his gaze, he saw a girl on crutches enter the building. How did that happen?, he thought, before hitting the palm of his hand against his forehead, You idiot. Don't ask those kinds of questions. Still, she does look interesting., he continued to drift until the new girl walked past him, wrenching him from his random thoughts. She had smiled at him. A small blush slowly grew across Jakes stoic face. What the?! I don't know her! Why would she smile at me? I didn't do anything did I? No, nothing. Why then?! Does that mean something? I should go. What was my room number again? 221, okay, okay. Calm down. Just walk., he thought, and slowly continued to his room, setting the backpack he had a little higher on his shoulders. It didn't help that the boy and girl he had been watching before were still in the hall, or that the girl who had smiled at him came back down the hall in front of him. Jake looked away as he passed her, hoping she wouldn't notice the small blush that had heated up his cheeks.

Olivia noticed one boy attempt to leave after she had introduced herself to everyone and no one in particular.

Oh hell no. Olivia Fiori was not about to be ignored.

She used her left crutch as a barricade to keep him from leaving, balancing on the right one. "Waiiiiit wait wait! I just introduced myself and asked a question that wasn't rhetorical! You could at least introduce yourself and answer the question!" She hopped the right crutch- and herself- so she could face him, giving him a playfully pouty c'mon don't be a jerk face, while still holding up the left barricade. "That's all I ask for now- a name and answer. C'mon, don't leave me hanging, especially when this thing gets heavy." She raised the left crutch slightly. "These are new, so I'm not used to their weight, but they sure start feeling heavier faster than traditional folk dresses!" Her expression softened to a pretty please just answer~

Jake stopped. The girl was blocking his exit with her crutch. His heart beat faster, No, no, no ,no. I don't want to be in this situation! What do I do?! What do I do?!, he thought panicking. He slowly looked up, locking eyes with the girl. "Um. H...Hi", his unused voice sounded hoarse, and a little gritty, so he cleared it, "I...Im Jake. Uh. Yeah. Probably going to be here...for a while". Oh no. What if she thinks im weird. I've never talked to anyone for so long., he thought, his blush growing wider.

Olivia grinned. Yaaasss, an answer, she thought to herself, barely taking note of how nervous he was- it wasn't what she prioritized at the moment. "Its real nice to meet ya, Jake," She said, lowering the crutch."Though I think it's pretty much confirmed that we'll be stuck here for a while. You think they have delicious food for us, at least? I've been stuck in a car way too long, I need to wander. To eat. To find out if this school doesn't skimp on food," She said, trying to remember where the kitchen was supposed to be. "Did you pay attention to where the food is? I forgot. My dad and I kinda marathoned our way to this place, so I am bored and famished."

Hopefully it didn't bother Jake how much she sorta jittered between topics. The hunger was getting to her. " I usually make more sense, sorry if I'm kinda being weird at the moment."

Asmodeus coughed a bit as the girl began to fidget with her bags. "It's not your fault. Kind of an... a-an odd scenario, you know..." He rocked on his heels a bit as he looked around, going pale as what seemed to be an altercation between a girl with crutches and another boy started. He stepped back, recoiling as the crutch came up in front of the other boy, and legitimately made a "meep."
Addy thought for a bit as the other people's conversation dragged on, not yet noticing that they weren't getting into a fight. [i]Should I help? I... there were fights at the orphanage. this is just like a fight at the orphanage. I should go tell them to stop or they won't get ado- right. This isn't the orphanage...[/b] Asmodeus was already moving towards the two as he thought. As he neared, he spoke up "hey uh... you guys shouldn't... shouldn't fight, you know?"

Olivia was distracted by another boy that approached them. "Fight? But we're not... fighting... OH MY GOD, am I being aggressive!?" She looked at Jake. " I'm sorry, but I really mean the hungry part, I tend to act rude and not realize it, I'm really really sorry!" She then looked over at the new boy. "I'm Olivia, and I'm really sorry for causing a scene, but its really my first time meeting completely new people while simultaneously running on empty. Aren't you hungry?"

She turned to face him, but not before telling Jake, "Don't leave yet, please?" She smiled at the new boy. "So what's your name? We're going to be here for like a third of our life, so might as well have names with faces. Or faces with names. I think the latter is the right one." She thought about it. "I...think that's right..."

Jake swallowed, Im trapped. I don't want to be in this, he thought, his eyes flicking between Olivia, and the boy. He thought we were fighting? Wow. I should get away before I actually get pulled into a conversation. Maybe they wont notice me though. In that case, I should probably find my room. Slowly, Jake inched away, hoping Olivia was too preocupied with the new guy to notice his departure.
