Personality
Quiet and shy, Aeri prefers being around soldiers to other people because there she feels almost normal, and fairly safe. She forces herself to pretend happiness almost constantly, if only to prevent herself from ever slipping into a depression.

Aeri has the unique ability to manipulate air and winds at a high level thus making her and Aeromancer.
Personal:
Hat of Silence - a red beret that prevents Aeri from hearing any sounds more than 30 feet away when she speaks the word 'ssejin.' The spell is held by a diamond in a brass setting, and is ending by Aeri clapping her hands.
Favorite moves:
Push - a blast of air at speeds of up to 150 mph. Will blow you away!
Air walk - Though she can't fly, she certainly can get above your head, by walking on nothing!
Pressure - Aeri can holding anything in the air she wants to, using pressure.
Vacuum - Don't make her too Angry! She can create a perfect vacuum in a space as big as two cubic feet for 30 seconds! And the smaller the spall, the longer she can hold! At 1 in cubic, she can hold that vacuum for an entire minute!
WindWall - This fun shield deflects projectiles, small creatures, and any poisonous gasses.
Whirlwind - When Aeri panics, she tends to use Whirlwind. It'll spin her opponent right out of the battle alright, but it also does significant damage to the surroundings.
Whispering Wind - Far away? No problem. Aeri can talk to you on the wind itself. Though heaven help you if she's feeling mischievous.
Air Chain - No you've gone and done it. Aeri is going to tie you up using chains made of air? Confused? Just accept it.
History
Aeri grew up in a simple village full of simple people. By age five, she knew she was different though. By age 13 she lost both parents, he mother to childbirth, her father to jail. She also lost her sister that year to a church fire.
At this point, Aeri went on a traveling adventure, dropping out of seventh grade, hoping to raise the funds for her father's release. Unfortunately, though she was able to earn the money, her father had died to sickness before she could rescue him. Without even a grade school diploma, and having not completed high school, there was very little that Aerilyn could do for work, so she turned back to what she had learned while adventuring: Merc Work.
Aerilyn, by now more than proficient with a gun, became a mercenary for hire, joining a band in order to find work. She worked hard, and moved up in the ranks, going on hundreds of successful missions with her team mates, until on fatal mission went wrong.
Bad information led to the death of most of her teammates. Aeri only survived because she accidentally used her aeromancer powers, rather instinctively. With this, she survived but the rest of her team died. Eventually, Aeri made her way out, and it was revealed that the last mission had lost her any chance on naturally hearing again. She had been using the wind to bring her what words over people spoke.
From there things got worse, and Aeri became a danger, a liability. The company, unwilling to fund a trainer for her, or help her find one, fired Aeri. Without work, her money quickly disappeared, though not before she bought a small plot of land in the middle of the forest and had it cleared and a mage build her a small one room hut made entirely of stone. It held no doors or windows, merely openings where such things would normally be.
She craved the wind now, but couldn't stand the onslaught that being near people brought to ears that should hear nothing. She went into town only when she knew it would be mostly quiet. Suffering from PTSD, and survivor's guilt, and with no education or training in her powers, Aerilyn lived apart from society, making a few simple wooden carvings to sell from time to time, and teaching herself how to use the odd magic she had been given.
So begins...
Aerilyn winces. "I am sorry to hear you haven't seen them in a while. And I have no family, they all died several years ago." She says quietly. "My mother when my ssiter was born, my sister to a church fire, and my father to illness." She says quietly, clearly distressed. "One day I may build another, but I doubt it."
Aerilyn shrugs. "I understand. I was run out of my home village once they learned I could manipulate the winds." She says with a shrug. "People, they fear what the don't understand. It's rather sad."
Aerilyn enters the bar sedately and looks around with a smile. The woman bites her bottom lip, thinking on where she would like to sit, before she takes a seat at the bar. With a bright smile, she looks around for a bartender or barmaid. She was completely unaware she had a leave on her head, just resting there. For a leaf, it was rather adventurous, and perhaps a bit mischievous as well.
Aerilyn giggles as three people all offer to help her, and removes the leaf. "The leaf is what I get for living in the forest." She says with a smile. "Wow, you guys look really busy. There wasn't anyone but this weird robot working last night." She says with a bright smile. "And Yes please, I'd love some water. Thank you."
Aerilyn looks at the serving staff and smiles slightly, having been rather abandoned. With a smile she tries to catch someone attention once more, covering her mouth with one hand. It did rather make sense. She'd probably serve the huge scaled being before she would any one as petite as her as well.
Aerilyn nods quickly. "Some water for now. I'm afraid I don't know what this realm has for common meals though. I'd rather not pay a fortune you see, but I still want something other than rabbit for at least one meal."
Aerilyn glances over the menu, having not heard of many of the things. Finally settling on something that sounded somewhat different than her usual fair she points to an item on the menu. "A Turkey Sand-wich, please." She says, stumbling over the word sandwich as if she had never seen it or heard it before.
Aerilyn shakes hear head with a smile. "No thank you. And thank you very much for the food, it looks wonderful." She says with a bright smile.
Aerilyn nods, and begins to eat the sandwich almost tentatively. After a few bites, she grins brightly and digs in. Another leaf floats in on a breeze and settles itself onto her head unrepentantly. Aeri, who had noticed the breeze but not the leaf, obviously thinks nothing of it.
Aerilyn finishes her sandwich and wipes her hands on a napkin, fairly certain that licking your fingers clean was not a compliment to the chef her like it was in her homeland. She looks around for the tender ready to pay, though she had to wonder which currency she had would be required. The leaf 'stands up' on her head and twirls in a circle before laying back down.
Aerilyn grins happily, and pulls out eight. "Here, with a tip. And thank you, it's delicious. Are coppers the currency here?" She asks with a smile. "It hasn't exactly been made clear to me." She says as the leaf 'jumps' up and down on her head.
Aerilyn smiles slightly and nods. "That's good to know. I've heard several different types of currencies mentioned, and I didn't even recognize some fo them." She says with a smile. 'This is truly an odd town then.
Aerilyn smiles slightly and bites her bottom lip. "Tell me, do you know of anyone hirign people to do some outdoors work. I can't stand to be inside for long streatches of time." She says quietly.
Aerilyn sighs and nods. "Thank you then. I suppose I can just do odd jobs and live off the land for now." She murmurs to herself.
Aerilyn enters the bar with a smile and takes a seat at the counter, ordering a water. The brunette, looked around hopefully, hoping to see her friend from the other night. He had seemed very nice, and like a good neighbor.
Aerilyn smiles and looks around, seeing Azazyl enter. Covering her smile, she makes her way over to him. "Hey, are you okay? You see to be exhausted." she says, he voice a little loud. Not that she could tell.
Aerilyn smiles slightly. "Then you do not get enough. Everyone deserves someone to be concerned over them." She says with a smile, sitting next to him. He was a good man, and she was sorry his mate was so far away.
Aerilyn shakes her head. "Not yet. I was planning on doing it tomorrow." She syas with a smile. "For now, I was hoping to clear out a good spot for my home to be built."
Aerilyn chuckles. "No doubt building the house will take a while. But I had planned on using my winds to clear a spot." She said quietly. "Though your help is welcome."
