"Who're you callin' a lady, huh?" The third figure that sauntered into the bar, after Varia, was that of a teenage boy. A long fringe covered most of his eyes, and his hands were stuck in his pockets. Arien blew a large bubble of bubblegum up at Torrential as he walked past, popping it in his face with a grin. Unlike his companions, Arien wasn't quite so decked out with weaponry. There was a silvery ornate dagger at his hip, along with a single handgun, but apart from that the youthful looking vampire was unarmed.

Chewing on his bubble-gum, Arien flashed a wicked grin at Cryoface, "I got this dagger blessed by a priestess, snowflake," he murmured, "It's a religious symbol, alright? Gotta give me my religious freedom, that's the law."

"Torr's got a point," Arien commented, leaning casually on the counter and blowing another bubble at the snowman. "Religion's a violent business snowflake, I hear that burning at the stake is really in fashion." The young vampire laughed.

Glancing at the remnants of the menu, Arien tutted, "Maybe you shouldn't have such fragile piece-of-shit tech lyin' around where anyone can break it on accident? It's practically a setup!"

"Nah, that's like, a gentle breeze that was," Arien confirmed, "Like blowin' a kiss at the thing."

Looking to Varia, the young vampire's grin broadened, "Yeah! Just take a rest, snow white, let us harmless forest creatures do your work for ya!"

Arien was in the middle of blowing another bubble of gum when Cryoface made his exit, and was surprised enough that it popped onto his face.

"Huh," he remarked, "Yeah. That was weird."

The young vampire grinned, vaulting up over the counter and ducking down to rummage around behind it, "Fucking sweet, have you seen all the shit they have back here? We run this place now, practically! We're like, small business owners."

"You mean the part where they wave their cock around like they're worth shit?" Arien laughed, straightening up to toss Varia a bottle of the nearest bottle he'd been able to grab without looking at it.

"No, my mistake. That was all of it. Even illustrated!" He grinned at that particular memory, "Poster campaigns are some high-school level crap. So it was written."

Arien's ears twitched at Asha's remark. Leaning backwards to reach down for a bottle, he snapped back up to toss one spinning through the air to smash on the gargoyle's table, "That one's on the house!" he yelled over.

"There's always meat to be had if you keep your eyes open..." Arien grinned darkly, "This city's like a sardine tin, a melting pot of light snacks and three-course-meals freshly butchered..."

He laughed, his voice rising to an oddly childish pitch as he did so. "You just have to ... widen your palette a bit."

Arien licked his lips, eyes flashing mischievously, "But that would be telling, wouldn't it?" he purred, lolling forwards to lie on his front on the bar counter to stare at Asha, legs bent backwards and sticking up into the air. "I'm anything but mindless."

There was something about the boy's eyes that seemed like a bottomless chasm, drawing the gaze of the beholder into them. An unnatural redness flickered across them, and looking away quickly started to seem like an impossible task.

Arien's mouth quirked upwards as his compulsion slid off of the gargoyle. "Oh, you do us an injustice, we're here entirely legitimately."

He popped a bubble of bubblegum at Asha, "The snowman handed us the key, we're in charge here. And we're behaving... mostly."

Arien tilted his head to gaze over at Taco, flashing a fanged grin, "It'll take more than that to impress me, if that's what you're going for, sweetheart."

The pale-skinned boy blew a mocking kiss out from under his fringe, rolling to sit himself on the edge of the bar. "I hear you loud and clear, pink-eye," he replied to Asha with a smirk, "Loud and clear."

Arien chuckled at Taco, rolling his shoulders in a shrug, "Whatever floats your boat, flex." he remarked, casually sliding his way over to where Varia was speaking with Boss and Alan.

"Well well, who have you made friends with over here, Varia? Can I smell a puppy?" he purred.

Arien drifted a hand out, not intimidated, brushing the back of it against Boss's snout gently, "Hush now, Rover, I'm not here to start a fight..." he murmured, crossing his legs under himself on the counter.

At Isiah's approach, he leaned back, eyeing the unknown vampire with interest, "Feel free to help yourself, tall dark and scarred." He murmured cordially, gesturing at the area behind the counter. "Stay awhile, join me and my friends here."

Turning his gaze back to said friends, Arien flashed a smile, "I'm Arien. I must say, not many people I know of have themselves a pet werewolf..." he remarked casually to Alan, mischief in his eyes.

Arien took the proffered hand with a gentle touch, eyes subtly flickering towards Boss' as though to taunt him, returning back to Alan without missing a beat. "A pleasure, is it?" he mused, grinning. The vampire flicked his other hand out, a finger brushing away a droplet of blood from Alan's splinter with supposed concern. "Poor thing," he purred, "You want to be more careful at a place like this, you never know wh-"

Arien was cut off then, eyes widening as the coldness of Timo's aura washed over him. He shuddered visibly, his hand dropping Alan's mid-grasp. His eyes shot upwards to try and find the source of the feeling, body tensing against a threat.

Hopping from the bar counter, Arien's silver dagger flashed from its sheathe as he followed Isiah and Varia's lead. He wasn't familiar with the entity in the middle of the room, but there was more to him than merely vampirism that gave him strength to stand in the face of this.

His eyes flickered back to Alan, "Just a moment, friend... we're dealing with some technical difficulties."

Irises clouding with a crimson mist, Arien stared down Timo, as if daring the woman to make a move.

Arien raised an eyebrow at Preston, "I'll stand down when I feel safe in doing so," he retorted, smirking as the elder vampire moved in front of him. How touchingly brotherly. He was not just a mere fledgling, he could take care of himself fine enough.

His knife twitched in his grasp, but there was something odd with the way he held it - the silver blade aimed more towards himself than his enemy.

His dagger slipping back into its sheathe as though it had never left, Arien melted fluidly back away from the centre of attention. That wasn't without casting a look over his shoulder at Isiah, "Nice of you to stick up for us there," he remarked coolly, "Surprising. The older ones of us who I've met before have been far less... concerned."

Smiling, all the unsteadiness of a moment before rapidly fading, Arien sauntered back over to Alan and Boss, winking teasingly to the werewolf as he departed. "Sorry about that..." he murmured to the former, sliding onto a stool, "Just getting acquainted, weren't we?"

Arien tutted, "You're an ordinary guy in a world of freaks, things were never going to go smoothly," he remarked, smirking. "You're doing well to still be breathing."

The deep pools of green that were Arien's eyes gazed out at Alan from beneath his fringe, captivating in their intensity. The odd fleck of crimson in his irises danced fluidly within. One could get lost in their depths if they weren't careful, though Arien had yet to make a point of making that happen.

In the end, it was he himself that broke the eye contact, glancing away at the rest of the room. "How did you come to this melting pot of a city anyway? Is the advertising that good?"

"That's a terrible shame," Arien replied, tutting, "But a change for the better, I'm sure. My parents never cared much for me, either."

He chuckled, "Not that I gave them cause to. No, I was nothing but trouble." Surprisingly enough, Arien hadn't killed his parents. Of course, that was only a surprise after you got to know him.

Meeting Alan's eyes again with his own inviting orbs, he smiled. "I have a better family now." he said, "I would hope that you do too, now, or in time."

Arien almost laughed at Alan's interpretation of 'trouble'. He supposed that most people didn't entertain the possibility of a child attempting to conduct blood rituals with classmates' hair. That certainly was trouble, though.

Arien leaned forwards ever so slightly, crimson starting to spill more plentifully into his eyes, swirling gracefully as though they were vortexes to pull an onlooker in.

"It's a terrible thing to judge," Arien purred, "I know what it's like to be different, reviled for something that's out of your hands." His voice was honey now, softly whispering just what he imagined Alan wanted to hear. His hand moved upwards to brush against the side of the other's face ever-so-softly, "What you need is someone who understands," he said, and the words dropped like facts into Alan's mind. One without impressive strength of will would at this point be clay in the vampire's hand, the combined strength of vampiric captivation and blood-magic command a formidable mental force.

"This isn't a very safe place for a talk like this though..." he whispered, "We should go somewhere less dangerous."
