Arrow Flight's Story
Arrow Flight released his grip, withdrawing his hands and nodding. "It is no trouble. Might I inquire as to just how you ended up with such a knot tied around your wrists? It seems unlikely you placed it there yourself, after all."
Arrow Flight nodded slowly. "Ah, I see." he noted, before standing "Well, I must go, I am afraid, I have much work to do upon my book." he explained, before leaving so his writer could get some sleep in.
Arrow Flight made his way downstairs, yawning visibly. The archer had slept little the previous night, but alas, such things happened. It had given him further time to work on his writings. Emerging out onto the bar floor, Arrow cast his eyes about briefly, offering Whisper a nod of greeting, but seeing she was occupied, he made his way over to the bar counter.
"Just a tea, please." he requested, taking a seat on a stool.

Arrow Flight accepted his drink with a smile and a nod, picking it up to sip from it. The archer was quite content to sit alone for the moment, quietly peaceful while he garnered his wits about him for the day. Taking out a small book, the archer began to read, glancing up at the man who seated himself nearby, Faris, for a moment before returning to the text.
Arrow Flight looked up once again, offering the other a smile. "Certainly not, I was not expecting the company but it is welcomed." he said, closing the book and sliding it away. "It's nice to meet you, my name is Arrow - Arrow Flight." he said, extending a hand outwards for the other to shake.
Arrow Flight took a sip of his tea, "I am well, thank you - slightly fatigued from a shortage of sleep last night, but otherwise well. Yourself?" the archer queried, resting the drink upon the counter as he spoke.
Arrow Flight smiled to Faris, nodding his head "Dangerous times indeed. My sleep the night before this was disturbed by a rather large creature responsible for the destruction of much of the third and fourth floors." the archer mused, glancing upwards, where through several floors of ceiling was the burned out shell of the aforementioned levels.
"I have to say, I enjoyed it far more than I should have, but I always do enjoy life-threatening situations in such a way." he continued, chuckling.

Arrow Flight noted the sudden and miraculous disappearance of his conversation due to temporal shift/internet loss.
Arrow Flight glanced up at Xaiar as the man seated himself nearby, and offered him a friendly smile and a nod of greeting.
Arrow Flight took a sip from his tea before replying, "Good afternoon, sir." he said, "What brings you to this fine establishment?"
Arrow Flight raised an eyebrow, "This bar is quieter than somewhere?" he queried. "Good grief, I hope I never end up there..." he murmured, chuckling.
The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Wing City Gardens (South)
Arrow Flight [color=navy]had been taking a slow stroll through the scenic gardens when he saw the flash of light, startling him from his path as it illuminated seemingly the entire gardens. The archer blinked his eyes clear of the temporary blindness induced by the brightness of the light, lifting up a hand to his head and peering towards the source, trying to identify it.
Realising that he could have no such luck from this distance, even with eyesight as keen as his own, Arrow diverged from the path and made his way into the garden proper, towards where he judged the source of the light to have been. It was by merit of this exploration that the archer emerged out into the section of the gardens in which Mordred was standing, armour clad and decidedly menacing in appearance. Pausing in his approach, within earshot and sight, Arrow frowned. This person was obviously the cause of the light, but how so? And where were the enemies that had inflicted their many wounds upon them?
"Hail, stranger!" Arrow called, "Are you quite well?"[/co

Arrow Flight raised an eyebrow at this, remaining in position and holding up his hands - both of which were empty of weapons, and as far as one might be able to tell, he had nothing in the way of weaponry on his person at the moment at all. "Certainly not, my dear knight, I make no efforts to escape you." he stated, bowing his head politely. "In fact, I sought you out, for your appearance was most unexpected."
The archer seemed entirely unphased by the advancing figure, and offered a smile. "My name is Arrow, Arrow Flight! You seem confused, are you well?"

Arrow Flight let out a low cry of alarm, darting forwards in an attempt to catch the figure that, unfortunately, failed. The archer cringed, letting out a quiet "Oooh.." in sympathy and kneeling down beside the figure.
"Ah, I think perhaps you are unwell, sir Knight, so forgive me this intrusion. It is my habit to ask a person's permission before I perform this, but I feel that you are not in such a position as to give me said permission." he said, placing his hands over the fallen knight's form.
Closing his eyes, the archer's palms began to emit a faint glow of blue light, as his magic began to work. His consciousness extended itself towards the fallen knight and move about his body, wound by wound, upon reaching each applying himself to knit the flesh slowly back into form, repair the skin and prevent further blood flow. This experience would be quite draining on the knight himself - and if Arrow had misjudged the extent of his injury, make things worse! -c-

Arrow Flight The energy taken up by the healing process was equivalent to that which would have been required to heal the wounds normally, all focused now into a few short minutes. What was certain was that the knight would be ravenous afterwards, and fatigued. Arrow himself wasn't feeling all too peachy by the end of the process, and slumped back down onto the ground upon removal of his hands.
"Good grief." he murmured, "That's never a pleasant task..."
Leaning back on his hands, Arrow raised his eyes to the prone form of the knight, hoping that he would awake soon. Hoping that he would awake full stop.

Arrow Flight let out a humourless laugh, shaking his head. "There is no need for you to apologise, ah, my lady Knight - I do apologise for the confusion before. Your voice was hoarse, and the armour conceals the figure." he explained, smiling faintly. "And it was truly no trouble; any other of decent heart would have done the same in my position."
Leaning back once again, Arrow raised an eyebrow. "Might I inquire as to how you received the wounds? There appear to be no others in the area... was it something to do with that light?"

Arrow Flight raised his eyebrow once again at the woman's explanation - whilst the concept of a less than perfect relationship with one's father was familiar to him, he would not have imagined it developing to a point where violence was the only option. The archer shifted his position, seating himself rather than kneeling, before speaking.
"It sounds rather like you were transported here by magical means. I cannot begin to imagine how, who, or why; but it does mesh with my sight of a flash of light. Such things go hand in hand with magical teleportation." he mused, tilting his head. "And wherever you are from, I believe you may be further from home than you thought. Here, certainly, women's rights are equal to those of men, and whilst common opinion on women as soldiers is somewhat behind the times, most show such beliefs no regard. Indeed, many of the finest warriors - soldiers or otherwise - that I know, are women themselves."
