Arthur raised a brow but offered a half smile and a nod to the strange fox man. Under other circumstances, he would be suspicious. However they were both about to board the same ferry. He was clearly an outsider, and didnt seem to be armed suprisingly.

(in Calabrese) Can you understand me?

Arthur Lovens gave a nod in return to the bow, but raised a brow at the speech. Not common, or anything he was familiar with. He glanced up and down the ship in a shot, his eyes quickly settling back on the fox. Arthur held up a finger and reached into a pouch on his belt. He fished out a babelfish and crammed it in his ear.
“
Good day, Freeman. You must be well traveled- I've never heard a language such aa yours. Mind you to repeat yourself?

(in Calabrese, enunciating) I said, can you understand me?

(in Calabrese) Oh right, you just put one of these in your ear just now too, that would explain everything. Nice to meet you.

A cold wind blew as a portal opened and then a tiny splash.
"Ah! Wet! Wings all wet!" shouted a tiny voice.
"Freeze bad water turn to ice. Freeze! Freeze! Turn as hard as stone!" The tiny winter fairy sang out as she poured out her power freezing the bad water that made her wet.
She didn't ever notice the boat heading her way a boat that would be blocked by the frozen river.
"Ah! Wet! Wings all wet!" shouted a tiny voice.

Ramuki rushes to the edge of the ferry to take a peek at the development, a worried look on his face
"There has been an unexpected delay in departure. Please stand by," sounded in a calm voice throughout the ferry. Meanwhile, a few members of the crew rushed to a vantage location. Up on the bridge, the captain ordered for rescue. It wasn't every day, or year, something like this happened. Good thing the captain had naval training- and good thing they had mages on board. A life ring was thrown overboard, crew shouting and waving at the tiny creature they could barely see to coax it to grab the life ring.
Arthur Lovens said back to Ramuki, "Nice to meet you too. Certainly an eventful day. I take it you are on your way to The Hunt?"

Winter was busy freezing over the river when she was smacked by the life ring.
"Ow! That hurt!" she cried as she landed hard on one of her new made icebergs.
Looking around to see the boat she gasped and turned invisible fluttering her hurt wings she flew until she crashed on the deck of the boat and hid behind a box.
