Suddenly, a dark-haired man was next to her, leaning on her lightly with an arm draped around her shoulder. The other hand lightly rubbed at her shoulder. He himself was wearing a suit, but very casually, as opposed to the older look preferred by his colleagues. There was a grin stretched his face.

A lazy basso voce rumbled from his throat, into Jean's ear. "You know, my host, that I can provide you with many things. I can soothe your pains, or should you choose, I can even help you procure a date. After all, it isn't fair if just your boss gets the time off, right?"

"Take a break, my host." he suggested.

The Denarian simply watched her with an amused grin, wiggling his fingers slightly. "You look a bit tense, my host. Are you sure you would not just prefer to sit down? They say my massages are quite divine." Oh, irony.

He did not make a move towards again though, but Aztoep seemed to be enjoying her annoyance, as if it gave him some kind of pleasure.

"Now now, my host. We, I, are not exactly demons, you must know. I am simply here to aid you. Perhaps a night with my company? You have been working very hard lately."

"Perhaps, my host, but now I simply serve your needs," Aztoep commented, smiling kindly at her. He didn't seem annoyed at all by her statements regarding him. He did, however, raise an eyebrow, as she shoved all the papers in to the drawer. "Good choice, my host. Work should not come before your own health, which is something you seem to be lacking.

"Perhaps you would prefer, knowledge, then? I can give you access to the greatest spells and power beyond your dreams, which you could use to help people. Use it for the purpose of which you speak."

Then, the Fallen was next to her again, gently pushing her down into a different chair, which looked infinitely more comfortable than the one she had been sitting in. The office dissolved to a ornate room, one perhaps that a rich person might have. There was a fire roaring nearby. His hands massaged at her again, pressing at the areas where her muscles were tight.

Of course, in the office, there would be nothing happening. Anyone who just happened to look in would see Jean reacting however she would, alone.

Aztoep continued pressing and squeezing where necessary, ignoring her protests. "Just because it isn't 'real', my host, does not mean that you cannot derive pleasure from it. Though to be honest, I would say this is real enough, no?" The Fallen smirked, even though he was behind her and she could not see him.

"Are you sure, my host? With my help, you could help more people," he purred. "Save more lives, prevent more paranormal death. Is denying this really what you want?"

"Do you really want me leave, my host?"

The office immediately faded back into view, replacing the room that Aztoep had created. He found himself pinned to the wall via chains, though if anything, it encouraged his cheerful, slightly taunting personality."

"I didn't know you were into the chains and like, my host. That's a certainly interesting tidbit of information I'll be sure to hold onto." he quipped, winking at Jean. "Perhaps you'd like to whip me as well? Get some whipped cream? Handcuffs, perhaps?" All the while, there was a ridiculously perverted smirk on the Fallen's face.

"And regarding everything." Aztoep paused. "You can be rid of me, my host. However, I'm quite certain that the only way to do that is to forsake your powers." The implication was clear, and he nodded at the door mockingly. Obviously, his hands were tied.

"Not my fetish, my host, yours. Perhaps a mirror and glue comparison would be a good comparison for your insults?" Aztoep said, undaunted. He did, however, choose to ignore her question.

Of course, Jean could not ditch the Fallen even if she wanted to. As she exited the office, he was simply there again, this time lagging behind her. Despite not showing it, the chains were uncomfortable. "Methinks the lady doth protest to much. My host, you might be suffering from depravity," he commented wryly.

"I'll see you tonight, Jean. I'm sure some part of you will be happy to have me," Aztoep's laugh was muffled, but still managed to pierce the box.

Of course, one of the causes of Jean's bad mood decided that he would appear to her, regardless of her current happiness. Dressed this time in a simple button-down shirt - though not buttoned up very high - and jeans, he was suddenly in the seat across from her, legs propped up on the table. As usual, he was grinning quite widely.

"You seem much more cheerful than you did yesterday, my host. Perhaps it was a nice dream, that you can't quite remember, but was pleasant." The smile twisted into a secretive little smirk, and Aztoep winked at her. "Or perhaps something different."

He casually checked his fingernails while awaiting her response.

The man, well, the man created from her mind, shot back a smile in contrast to her scowl. He swung his legs off of the table, and instead leaned onto it, as if moving to whisper something to her.

"Can one walk through a beautiful garden without looking at the flowers?" he asked, mostly rhetorically. "I simply cannot avoid being in your mind without seeing things, my host." With the same smirk as earlier, Aztoep drawled, "And I saw many things, my host. Certainly, I said some things too."

"There's just a wonderful part of you that just loves to listen to me, my host. Perhaps it decided that you wanted to be in a good mood today?" Not once throughout did his face take a negative expression, something that he knew was infuriating to Jean.

The Fallen stared at her, the corners of his lips still turned up. A finger reached out, and pressed down on her hand, compelling her to lower the book. "I see I have your attention now, my host." he commented cheerfully.

"You know exactly what it means, my host." If happiness was an armor, than Aztoep's was a nuclear blast suit, leaving him completely unphased by Jean's anger.

"But if you want me to explain..." The Fallen droned on lazily, looking back down to his fingernails. He paused for a few seconds, taking the opportunity to pick at them where he saw a speck of dirt. Of course, it was imaginary dirt. He finally looked up.

"Your unconscious mind, she and I had an...interesting conversation, you could say. You would find that she agrees with my presence very much, my host."

As Jean continued with her anger, Aztoep simply sat there, infuriating grin sitting on his face. Once in a while, he would look up from his imaginary nail cleaning. The Fallen offered a glance towards the person who was causing things to lift. Of course, he wasn't worried. Anyone who noticed would only see Jean talking to herself.

Only sparing a lazy glance up as she stood, he nodded offhandedly, as if he had expected her words. Then, as if mocking her, a book appeared in his hands and he began to read. Appropriately, it was Freud.

"You know, my host, the subconscious is a very important part of you. It tells you things that keep you alive, something I would assume you want to do." Aztoep's eyes flickered across the page, though he did not actually need to read the book - it was already in his head - and he added, "Sometimes your subconscious can tell you important things about yourself, my host."

The Denarian was quite pleased with how everything was shaping out to be. He especially enjoyed making his hosts look insane; it was a bit of a hobby for him. "You should consider calming down, my host, before you have a heart attack. Personally I enjoy your angry look, but you might be scaring the other patrons," he noted.

Jean's thought was intercepted, and she was given a reply. Ah, yes, my host, but you forget what else I can offer you. In tandem with the thought, Aztoep let out a small laugh, but did not look up from the book, nodding periodically as if he had come across some revelation.

He lazily peeked over the book at times, to check what she was doing. The circle would not bother him, and thus he returned to 'reading.'

"Of course, my host. The human, Freud, had many interesting ideas pertaining to the mind. I find him a very interesting topic. While you may say that I am immoral, all I have done is offer you gifts that you may use to help or whatever you choose, my host."

"I would assume so, my host, otherwise you probably wouldn't have worn anything this morning. Or you would probably punch random people in the face." Aztoep quipped back. "Besides, my host, you couldn't possible want to get rid of me. Look, you're getting rid of all this pent-up stress. I think this has been very beneficial for the both of us."

The book disappeared. "Up to there, my host?" The Fallen inquired, raising an eyebrow. "What about the rest of you? I notice that you failed to cover your head. Perhaps that is the part that agrees with me?" Yes, he was a smart-ass. And what wonderful fun it was. "I do not comment or narrate EVERY part of your life, my host. Only the times when you could use some assistance."

Aztoep moved himself to a better position, sitting on the table. All the while, he stared at Jean, still not having faltered once. Any threats she made were pointless. His coin would survive and his shadow would still linger.

The Fallen disappeared, choosing to observe the proceedings. He would comment again when he felt it was appropriate. Jean. What had compelled him to use her name? Strange. Erm, my host. I thought you preferred to save lives?

The Denarian, who also existed in Jean's head, snickered. Hey, Miss Telekinetic. Invading brains breaks one of the rules of Magic. Needless to say, unless you've got a defensible reason, my host here will either arrest you or kill you. I'd suggest you stop whatever it is you're doing.

Not my problem. I personally don't mind if what my host does. Though, like I said. If you like living, I would suggest you try harder. Aztoep replied, before ceasing to speak. He did comment on the lightning. My host, I would suggest you worry about that man first. He seems more dangerous than the woman, currently.

It might not be the best time to remind you, my host, but that man looks bloodthirsty currently. He will not stop even if the woman does, I would guess. Aztoep said. I would remind you that letting that man kill her with magic also violates one of the Laws.

Why was he being so helpful?

My host, there's a knife over there that the girl was holding. Presumably, it is metal. Inside Jean's body, lacking power to do anything, Aztoep could not do much aside from observe and comment. That, and give her access to the Hellfire. After all, he did not want to die.

Hands technically don't count as magic, my host. Aztoep informed her, even as she shot at the man. Besides, she broke the Laws of Magic. Why attack the man who is supposed doing your duty for you?
