Dekar gently pushes the door to the bar ajar, peering inside from the street outside. It had been awhile since he had been in Wing City, and more specifically Gambit's Bar. Hesitating momentarily, Dekar proceeded to enter the bar, allowing the door to close quietly behind himself as he moved into the confines of the establishment. Avoiding eye contact with the other patrons, he gradually made his way to the bar top, limping slightly as he moved. "Bartender?", he spoke softly in the direction of the counter.

Dekar stared at the surface of the countertop until he had come to the conclusion that the bartender was either busy or simply gathering supplies from the storeroom. Letting out a deep sigh, Dekar dropped his hand upon the surface of the bar with a loud clank and proceeded to rap his finger against the surface. "Same ol' city...", Dekar sighed. "Same ol' bar..."

Dekar let out another sigh and stood up slowly. Turning back towards the entrance of the bar, he grunted slightly as he pulled his leg around and limped towards the door. Stopping to give the bar one last glance, Dekar smiled and exited the building.

Dekar pushes the southern door open, entering from the side alley. He usually preferred this entrance as is drew less attention. Allowing the door to close softly behind him, he moved toward the nearest point of the counter, limping slightly as he found a stool. His leg, although repaired, was still operating below average efficiency, probably due to the use of non-OEM parts.

Dekar sat down on the stool and pulled his leg up, resting it on the lower frame of the adjacent stool. He often had to manually adjust the pressure of the pneumatic actuator that notified his hip joint that it had reached its limits of rotation. As he prodded at the limb, he stopped and glanced across the bar shaking his head at the conversations that were currently issuing from the patrons. "This place never ceases to confuse me...", he mumbled softly to himself.

Dekar returned his attention to his leg and tapped the side of his leg till it made a soft mechanical "click". Closing his eye for a moment, he looked as though he could have just fallen asleep until a small grinding noise issued from the joint. He opened his eyes and pushed and elevated section on the side of his leg and the grinding stopped with another "click". "That should do it for now...", he said to himself as he brought his leg back down off the stool.

Dekar continued to check his various systems as he sat as the counter. He hadn't been able to just sit and relax like this in awhile. For the past few months, he had been trying to procure the remains of his MS, which had fallen into the desert from an airship, which was also the cause of the damage to his systems. After managing to navigate his way out of the desert he found the equipment and parts he needed for his own repairs before heading back out to retrieve his suit, only to find that it had been scavenged and scrapped by nomads and thieves.

Dekar sat back and raised a finger in front of his face as he covered his left eye with one hand. As he moved his finger around in front of him, he'd blink upon every momentary stop, calibrating his targeting system. The right eye was easy, but the left took longer, requiring multiple attempts before finally felling satisfied with the settings. He then tested all of his vision modes, holding his arms out in front of him and testing the infrared mode between his two extended fingers. This too took a bit of time as his left eye had suffered massive damage in the fall.

Dekar stopped testing and sighed loudly, leaning against the counter and tilting his head back to stare at the ceiling. "This place is lacking...", he stated to the ceiling. He alternated between eyes, closing one then the other over and over out of boredom.

Dekar slowly opens the southern entrance of the bar, entering from the alleyway. Pausing momentarily, with the door open only about four inches, Dekar couldn't help but wonder why he always seems to find people in only this establishment. Passing a hard breath through his noise, he pushed the door open fully and entered the bar, taking care not to hit anyone who may have been standing behind the door. He often favored this entrance over others, simply because he felt strange hesitating for moments on end in front of the bar, while trying to decide on weather to enter or not.

Dekar allowed the door to close behind him slowly, catching it briefly as not to cause it to slam as usual. That was one of the draw backs of entering from the alley, the narrow walls of the area outside often created a wind tunnel effect which made the door want to slam closed behind the person using the doorway. "What do we have today?", he asked himself as he peered across the room. His gaze immediately fell upon six men and another, most likely their leader, who had just entered. "Soldiers?", he thought. But he turned his gaze away and focused on the bar. He definitely didn't need to deal with military now, damages aside, he was in no mood to run or fight.

Dekar made his way over to the counter, limping slightly on his right leg as he moved. He had had tried repeatedly to repair the joint, even with the help of other, with minimal improvement. He took a seat at the end of the counter and began to survey his surroundings; a bar rag, a few dirty glasses, peanut shells, and a single ring of alcohol left behind from of an overfilled shot glass. By his analysis, it was in fact a scotch whiskey. He often found himself compiling information like this, for apparently no reason, but still somehow he could stop himself. He shifted the damaged leg slightly as he sat, noticing the limited rotation and increase in the joint position sensor's dead zone.

Dekar sighed and raised his head at the sudden explosion of sound. He shook his head and pushed himself to his feet, turning back towards the southern entrance. "That enough excitement for today...", he said softly as he walked to the door and pried it open, fighting the vacuum outside, disappearing into the alley with a slam.

Dekar looked down the counter at the pale girl and then back at the wooden surface of the bar. He thought about the previous times he had entered the bar and witnessed the same things; fights, romance, insanity and most of all the human drama. Dekar let out a sigh and looked back down at the pale girl, noticing her obvious boredom. He didn't speak, but his staring was sure to draw her attention eventually.

Dekar raised a brow and snorted slightly. "You look bored...", he said as her raised a hand innocently. He hadn't expected such a direct interaction and he found it strangely intriguing.

Dekar nods, "Quite apparent..." He looked back at the wood surface, as if ignoring her, but continued to speak. "Recent tattoo?", he asked, glancing over again. "You shouldn't scratch it...", he warned.

Dekar looked at her for a moment and grinned, "Right... Sure thing..." He wasn't accustomed to her politeness and felt as though it were a form of joke. "So... Why are you her all alone?", he asked as he looked away and returned his gaze to the wooden surface of the bar.
