Dekar thought about her questions and answered, "I am Dekar... I am an Advanced Infiltration Droid, Service number AID-DKR-523-B..." He wasn't sure about her other question at first, but replied. "No... I don't shift."

Dekar scowled slight and mumbled to himself, "I'm more than a machine..." He hated being refered to as a machine. "...and I'm good for alot!", he retorted, trying to sound impressive.

Dekar shakes his head as she questions him and suddenly gives her a look of embarrassment as she questions his completion. "Of course I am!", he stated as he fidgeted, unaccustomed to such a question. "Why does that matter?", he asked nervously. "And... and... I like... I like man... ummm.... manly type... man things!", he exclaimed, as if she was attacking his masculinity.

Dekar had never thought about the idea. "I guess... neither really...", he stammered. "They both tend to bother me...", he added as he pushed her tail away. He was beginning to feel as though this was an interrogation and had no idea that she was referring to sexual preference.

Dekar stares at her for what seemed like forever, thinking about her suggestion. He went over the various meanings of the word and couldn't answer at first. "Virgin... uninitiated or uninformed?", he suggested. He thought this had to be the definition she was referring to, because he wasn't female or a Saint, and sex was a topic he was not overly versed in.

Dekar pushes the south door open slowly, entering from the alleyway. Typically, he'd try and keep the large door from slamming too loudly but he really wasn't in the mood to worry about other peoples problems. So the door closed with a loud thud, causing the condiments on a nearby table to rattle softly. He stopped just inside the door and surveyed the room, weary of the usual patrons. He was seriously hoping that todays activities would not involve violence, stupidity, sexual situations or the bar getting utterly destroyed by some sort of shape-shifting black dragon robot thingy. But, alas, he thought: "This is Gambits..."

Dekar looked towards the bar then across at the rest of the room. "I hate this place...", he grumbled softly before backing up into the booth next to the alley entrance. He still couldn't figure out why he even came to Gambit's Bar again. He never had any good experiences while within its confines, except the many times it had been completely destroyed. But even those moments shattered then next days when it was miraculously rebuilt.

Dekar slowly opens the southern entrance of the bar, entering from the alleyway, peering inside from the street outside. It had been awhile since he had been in Wing City, and more specifically Gambit's Bar. Hesitating momentarily, Dekar proceeded to enter the bar, allowing the door to close quietly behind himself as he moved into the confines of the establishment. Avoiding eye contact with the other patrons, he gradually made his way to the bar top, limping slightly as he moved.

Dekar pulled up a stool at the counter and gently hoisted himself up, avoiding the use of his leg as much as possible. The bar was no different that in the past as far as he was concerned and he proceeded the give it the usual roll of the eyes. He'd occasionally roll his eyes towards the other patrons hearing certain parts of conversations, but it was still all nonsense to him. "People...", he mumbled as he shook his head slightly and proceeded to rap his fingers on the counter.

Dekar slowly rotated, glancing around the room, somewhat casually. Stopping to eye Darren suspiciously, he let out a false yawn to allow himself a slightly longer glance before turning back to the counter. He wasn't worried about the man, but it did slightly bother him to be apparently, analyzed, by a stranger. He returned to rapping his finger on the counter again as he listened to the room.

Dekar glanced sideways, down the bar, at Reilly K. "They'd serve paint thinner to you if you asked...", he mumbled slightly under his breathe. "Just a fair warning..." He didn't make a habit of talking to people too often, but he somehow felt the need to give the girl a friendly warning. He didn't make eye contact with the girl, but instead darted his eyes back and forth across the counter top as if watching some invisible tennis match.

Dekar stopped rapping his fingers on the counter and stared silently at the wall across from him, behind the counter. He wasn't sure why the man was focusing his attention upon him, but he wasn't exactly sure he liked it. He turned in his seat, rotating the stool, and slid to the floor. His damaged leg made a loud metallic ping followed by a deep grinding sound as he forced it to support his weight. His eyes were directed directly at Darren as he spoke sternly, as if next to the man, "If you want something just let it be known... I don't intend to remain here under your scrutiny."

Dekar didn't show any emotional response to Darren's words, but responded, "You can protect them all you want. But they will die anyway. Their true enemy is time." He managed a slight smirk, but was completely unaware of it. He never understood his need to smirk at certain things. "If you intend to be a savior to these... flawed... creatures, then I suggest you destroy time. Until then, I am no more a comparable danger than one of their infants."

Dekar remained stationary and watched the man leave the establishment. "There won't be a next time...", he said softly before turning back to the counter. He wasn't going to return to the bar again. It was always a disappointment and usually left him angry and bitter with existence.

Dekar stared at the stool in front of him and placed his hands on the seat. He pondered why anyone would dedicate their limited time to protecting the lives of others, but then remembered his warning to the girl at the bar earlier. He looked over at Reilly K and wondered why he said anything to begin with. "I must be damaged worse than I originally thought...", he said to himself before looking at the floor and releasing his grasp on the bar stool.

The side entrance to the bar opens slowly, just for enough for a set of eyes to glance into the establishment. Without entering the room, the visitor could already sense the conflict inside. But, this was a common occurrence in Gambits. The door was pushed open further, as a man stepped in from the alleyway. His blue hair obscuring half of his face, he glanced around the bar, pulling his black cloak around him and tightly up to his face. In an attempt to avoid the conflict, he slide sideways into the nearest booth and manually pulled his leg under the table with a small grunt. "This place will never change...", he stated silently to himself.

Dekar sat and shook his head at the arguments. He was glad that there was finally some sort of management and security on duty for once, but he felt it wasn't going to change anything. These people were still going to fight amongst themselves. He had seen it too often to count and he had come to the conclusion that it was simply "in their nature" to destroy each other.

Dekar sat upon a stool at the counter, avoiding the use of his leg as much as possible. Wearing his usual dark cloak, pulled up to conceal his appearance as much as possible, he absently brushed the hair from his face, allowing the blue strands to fall right back where they started. He had retreated to the diner to avoid people. The bar was never any different than in the past as far as he was concerned and would usually sit quietly watching the patrons and listening to parts of their conversations, but it was still all nonsense to him. "People...", he mumbled as he shook his head slightly and proceeded to rap his fingers on the counter. He liked it here... It was quiet...

The man stopped rapping his fingers and withdrew his hand into his cloak. He wasn't accustomed to people entering the diner and the last thing he needed was another injury. He had enough of soldiers, bounty hunters, robots and bandits... and God knows what other things... He wasn't going to just sit and let himself get captured without a fight.

But, as he glanced over his shoulder, he saw the girl. Not a soldier... and most likely not a robot, she did not appear to be any threat to him and he released the grip he had upon the small handgun inside his cloak.

Last thing he needed was to shoot some kid and give people another reason to hunt him. As long as she didn't bother him, he'd be fine and his peaceful moments would continue. But then again, he knew kids to be loud, obnoxious and annoying too. Rolling his eyes, he withdrew his hand and rapped the counter again.
