Description

Image
(This is the art Diana's Megamerged form is based on. No true art of Diana exists. Have this consolation text description instead!)

Diana's a fairly thin woman, though her designs make her somewhat less than "perfect" figure. She has white skin and wears a bodysuit that obscures her body from the neck down. Her "default outfit" is pictured as a pale pink turtle neck sweater that ironically stops only a few inches after the chest. Mostly due to the fact that there is actually a fairly large /screen/ literally built into her abdomen. Her legs are rather big. Nearly X series big. Yet, they are meant to resemble cargo pants, and as such have a bunch of pockets things can be stored in, making them rather light when not, y'know, packed full of heavy stuff. Her legs are white'ish colored. Across her back and the backs of her arms are several dozen "black circles", which can open up to reveal a bunch of plugs with cords. Some are larger than others. They merely look like black circles against the dark purple bodysuit. Her eyes are blue, and her hair is something of a reddish blonde. (Strawberry blonde!) Speaking of hair, hers is done up in pigtails. She tends to carry around a laptop a lot, sometimes in a red shoulder bag.

When Megamerged, her sweater is replaced by a pale pink, heavy armor vest. (*Cough* Her boob armor is colored white, in contrast.) Her pants actually vanish, leaving her with leg (but not crotch) armor. Her midsection is easily her weakspot, and her legs are only medium armored. Her lower arms have heavy pale pink/red armor. Her shoulders have round pale pink shoulder armor. Her helmet is not unlike a pink variation of Model X's in design. only, technically slightly thinner all around, and possessing two holes for her pigtails to stick out of. When she runs, a red transparent scarf similar to that X has in Command Mission forms out of her back. It cannot be grabbed, and really does nothing but look cool. In addition to all the above. On the back of her armor is two outdents and an indent inside the outdent. The indent is colored white, and the scarf forms from these two indents. There are green, glowing lines that run down her sides, one glowing green circle on the outside of each shoulderplate armor. A glowing green line that passes directly down her abdomen, but stops at the screen on her belly, starting again after the screen. The line on her abdomen stops at the hip. There is a large, glowing, green circle light on each side of her ankles. (Her megamerged design is partially based on Alia's Rockman Online appearance.)

Personality

Diana is a bit nerdy, and slightly awkward around men, but she's a nice person with good intentions. She seems to think fairly high of herself, though usually fairly within her actual limits. Her social skills are not as great as they could be, but aren't god awful either.

Equipment

Diana is a technological wizard. She's pretty damn good with computers and machines, needless to say.

She is unusually resistant to hacking and viruses.

She has unusually powerful hardware for a reploid.

Two things make her stand out in a crowd. For one, she has a screen display built into her abdomen. It's a computer screen, and can display a variety of things. It can potentially display at a very high resolution, and internal speakers can produce fairly good quality sound.

The second thing, is that she has dozens upon dozens of different types of cables and plugs built into her. She can hook herself up to an absolutely incredible range of tecnology. technology, including androids. The cords are physical, and can potentially be yanked out or damaged. Yet, they are made of a material meant to never need replacing, so long as routine maintenance is not ignored. That being said, it is very durable. The easiest way to break the cords would be to slash them with a plasma saber, especially if they're pulled taught. When a cord is attached to something (or someone), Depending on what Diana is connected to she can, at best, examine the systems of a target without permission. If her target does not accept her connection, she must either hack it to get permission or there's not much she can do besides examine. If she has permission and or hacks her target, she can supply power to or get power from them. She can supply a video/audio feed or get a video/audio feed. She can even take control of their body remotely. She cannot however reprogram someone just by connecting a cable, as it's harder than that. Sometimes, multiple cables may be required.

When megamerged, Diana gains a pale pink arm cannon that can fire charge shots roughly equal to one of Model X's charge shots. She cannot double charge shot. Yet, when her charge shots hit something that isn't destroed by the blast, they pop like bubbles, causing extra damage if whatever is hit isn't knocked away by the initial strike. Can nearly double the damage done if the target literally stands there and takes it.

Using a bit of her specialized energy, commonly called "Weapon Energy" due to the fact it's reserved specifically for weapons that need it, she can use six different, useful attacks described below.

  • She can generate a whirlwind from her buster that can travel straight forward. It takes time forming, and is extremely easy to spot before it is shot, but can be very devistating when it hits, and does travel quite fast once it gets moving. The whirlwind is usually about 30 feet long and 5 feet in diameter. It can also be charged up, using more "Weapon Energy" to unleash a stronger whirlwind that is about 10 feet in diameter and acts a bit like a tornado, with Diana in it's eye. It only lasts for a few moments. Both these attacks can potentially ravage things they hit, as their wind force is pretty dang strong. Due to the nature of both the charged and uncharged form of this attack, moving or firing in mid-air is dangerous. In order to use this attack safely, she must be grounded on stable ground.
  • She can launch a sort of grappling hook from her buster which can both grab onto ledges, walls, and most other structures, but can be used to hurt enemies, as the chain does hit fairly hard. It can also potentially grab and pull lighter smaller objects or people towards Diana
    .
  • She can generate a blue, transparent shield around herself that can block most weaker attacks, but will shatter under any sort of stronger attack.
  • She can fire a solid projectile that travels a good ten feet or until it hits something before imploding. When it implodes, it creates a powerful force of gravity at the source, with a diameter of about 5 feet. It's not usually effective against heavily armored foes, but can otherwise hurt pretty bad to get stuck in. It lasts for only a second and a half.
  • She can produce a fiery plasma saber from her buster, and use it to slash at enemies. It is incredibly powerful, but lacks range. The blade literally appears to be made of fire. The longer she keeps it out, the more "Weapon Energy" it uses.
  • She can lock onto an enemy, within 20 feet and fire a thin bolt of plasma which cannot be dodged, assuming she can lock on. Obstructing vision does not prevent her from locking on. In fact, not much will. Not impossible to block.

In addition. Model Al is unique in that it can be modified while megamerged. And changes done to the armor retain after demerge. It was also built to be able to accommodate additional "armors", like X, in the X series. However, at present she has no armors, and someone good with biometals would ICly need to help her get one (As well as Admin Permission, obviously.) As a setback to this feature, Model Al can become damaged through combat, making it's user permanantly weaker the more they fight until maintenance is done. Costly maintenance.

History

Diana was created to maintain and work with technology. Her design was made to be a single lab's portable, sentient computer. What she lacked in raw power compared to more dedicated, less sentient computers she makes up for in portability, reliability, and her sentience gives her the ability to handle variable problems with an efficiency no mere (non-sentient) machine is capable of emulating. This meant she was overall easier to keep maintained, usually only needing physical maintenance. Naturally, she was a pretty darn expensive android to build. However, the woman who built her justified this because building Diana wasn't /quite/ so expensive if one considered all the equipment she replaced. That, and this woman wanted an assistant. She had just started to work freelance, and working alone simply seemed overly difficult to her. Last but not least, company was nice. Thus, Diana was created. For quite a few years she served her purpose. Her creator was a pretty good person, and treated her reasonably well, all things considered. This woman was a scientist, needless to say, a doctor in physics and robotics. She was often overly achievement orientated, and had a deep desire to make her name in history by making an important discovery. Not that Diana hated it or anything. She was happy to help her creator with various projects. At some point down the road, however, her creator got a chance to study something incredible. It was a biometal, Model Al. They both set immediately to trying to figure out how the strange device works. Of course, neither were aware at any point that it was a sentient being as it could neither float without a chosen one nearby nor speak to them. As a result, the biometal was damaged through experimentation, namely dissection. The biometal was not however killed. Unfortunately, the biometal attracted negative attention, namely a maverick raid. Diana and her creator really didn't have what it took to defend themselves, and her creator was killed in the ensuing violence. Diana herself was shot down trying to get at one of a group of galleons in a vein attempt to get close enough to attempt to hack it. There were simply too many of them. Yet, this did not kill her. It merely did enough damage that her systems momentarily failed, causing her to collapse in a bodily, death-like manner. As her systems were recovering, and her regaining consciousness, she heard a voice. It was the biometal's voice calling to her. It... didn't sound all that well, health wise, as it had been partially disassembled, mainly in order to get a look at it's insides. Yet, it wasn't as if they just hit it with a hammer until it broke open. It was nearly perfectly intact. Unfortunately, it could not float in this state. It asked Diana to megamerge, yet was not within arm's reach. Yet, Diana knew how to solve this problem. While the Galleons had assumed she was dead, a slot on her back opened up to reveal a cord with a plug on it's end. This cord, having it's own support through Diana, extended to the biometal, and managed to plug into it. This was /very/ unorthodox, and Diana suddenly felt a burst of pain as the biometal fused with her. Neither her or the biometal had really been able to say what would happen, but she had accidentally interfaced with it in a manner that caused it. The cord retracted almost instinctively, but rather than get pulled out, pulled the biometal off it's resting place and back to Diana, as they are quite light. Her body began glowing a bright white when this happened, which along with the noise of her gasping and the biometal being pulled off the desk startled the Galleons. Next thing they knew, she was megamerged. Summoning her energy as they recovered from their shock to open fire at her, she generated a large whirlwind around her that completely blew the plasma shots off their intended targets, even causing friendly fire in some cases. The whirlwind itself tore open the building, causing a partial collapse which killed more galleons. Few were left after the collapse. Managing to find cover this time, she managed to dispatch the remaining galleons with her newfound arm cannon. Their rather basic build just wasn't a match for her intelligent and durability, now that she was armed. Afterwards, she de-merged, but could not find the biometal. As she de-merged, she noticed that something felt weird, and admittedly a bit uncomfortable, inside her. It wasn't until she heard the familiar voice of the biometal that she realized that she and the biometal had somehow managed to fuse in more than one way.

So begins...

Diana cautiously peeks into the main entrance of the bar, seeming a bit lost as she looks around curiously. She was a young woman with strawberry blonde hair done up in medium-length long pigtails. It appears she was wearing a pale pink turtleneck sweater and what appeared to be cargo pants over a dark purple bodysuit that covered all but her neck and head. Her lower legs and feet appeared to be very large in contrast to the rest of her body, very inhuman looking. She stepped into the bar, beginning to wander inward.

Ezrael's lazy eyes dragged towards the new entrance, raising slightly. It wasn't the woman or even her body that caught his attention, so much as what she was wearing. It was abnormal. He frowned, standing and forgetting his business, heading in the womans direction. His arms fold and he asks, "What is it that you are wearing...?" in a cool but curious voice, almost business-like.

Diana comes to a stop. She seems to have recognized that she was being spoken to. She turns to Ezrael and her expression turns, well, embarrassed! She didn't completely understand what he meant. Was her outfit really that abnormal? A part of her was worried she was being teased. "Pardon..? What do you mean?" When she turned to him, he'd get a good glimpse at something very strange on her abdomen. She appeared to have a sort of screen on her abdomen, uncovered by the bodysuit. It was black, and might vaguely resemble a TV screen if one was that observant.

Ezrael cocks his head, clearly looking at the womans stomach. Boldly, he reaches out a finger to poke at it. "That," he says flatly, "What is that?" He found it utterly strange to be carrying electronics around on your person. "I mean, I can take a guess, but I am just waiting for you to answer my rhetorical question so that I might follow up with another."

Diana freezes up when he reaches out, and might seem a bit uncomfortable with being poked on the stomach judging by her expression. She doesn't make any move to stop him from poking, despite her discomfort. She didn't seem overly aware of the other people in the bar at the moment, until Hellshine falls over laughing. She unfortunately assumed he is laughing at her and glances at him momentarily before returning her uncomfortable gaze to Ezrael. "I-It's a digital screen..."

Ezrael casually slings himself into a seat, leaning onto the nearest table or counter to observe Diana. "What does it do?" he asks with a bored eyebrow raised, then he sits upright. "No, actually, I can probably guess, but the greater question I am much more curious for answer to is; why?" He stands up, taking a moment to walk around the girl examining her. "Why do you have a screen in your stomach?"

Diana is asked what the screen on her stomach does. For a moment, her expression shows interest. She was the sort who liked to talk about that sort of thing, nerdy as it may be. She raises a hand as if to make a hand gesture, but hesitates and just lowers it again. When she speaks, she seems a bit more comfortable. "Well... it's a display monitor! It displays video and can even play audio to go with it! I was... created with it." At this point, it might become clear that she was an android. She chose to remain standing rather than taking a seat with the man, not that she had been asked to join him.

Ezrael finally folded his arms, back straightening into a confident upright position. "Created..." he says, with subtle delight in his voice, "I've always wondered how things come to be created. Are you of flesh or are you a machine?" He leant in to examing the girls eyes, as if expecting to see the mechanics behind them before leaning back.

Diana looks back into Ezrael's eyes, seeming ever so slightly put off by the leaning in. Her eyes actually seemed completely human as far as the eye could see, with the exception of the fact that they seemed a bit dry. Out of the things that came off as odd and robotic about her, her eyes were not one of them. She seems a bit confused by the question. These two had different cultures. "I'm... an android?" Where she came from, it was extremely common for androids to have some organic parts. She herself had them, but that did not constitute flesh to her. For the moment, she seems to not be paying attention to the others in the bar.

Ezrael leant casually on the table, nodding. "An android," he says curiously, "How interesting. I've never met an android before. Are you made entirely from robot parts or were you once a human?" There was always some argument on the nature of androids, and Ezrael decided to take it on a case to case basis. He calmly, however, plotted revenge on the other girl in the bar.

Diana seems to need to think about the question for a moment. It was however extremely rare for a human to actually become an android. She could only think of one person who had been human and become an android, and said person had gone mad. "Well... I was never a human, but I do have organic parts!" She doesn't seem particularly aware of the newcomer. Her attention is fully grabbed by the man she was talking to currently.

Ezraels lazy eyes dragged over to the two new entrances, but he didn't make any other acknowledgement of their presence. "Why would you need organic parts if you're a robot?" he queries, though the question was mostly aimed at the air for him to think out loud.

Diana seems to be further confused by the question. Her expression turns frustrated as she tries to think of the answer. She was not a politician, not someone who was at all involved in things like android and human equality. She was just an android who happened to benefit from practices that supported such. "Well-..." She begins to speak, rather unsure of herself, before she is abruptly interrupted by a second voice. It didn't sound like Diana's, and yet it appeared to be coming from her. The voice is feminine, yet muffled. "She is designed to emulate humans very well. Organic parts furthered this." Diana abruptly blushes slightly. Once again, she does not seem to be aware of yet another few newcomers.

Ezrael nodded slowly. "Makes sense," he says, reaching out to poke Diana once more, this time in the head. "But who was that?" he asks, "Someone listening in on your every conversation, watching your every move?" He was curious, though he had a dark edge to his voice, almost as if he was planning something nefarious. His mouth slowly twisted into a sadistic grin.

Diana smiles sincerely, attempting to play off her severe embarrassment. She was still not used to her companion at all. She is poked, this time in the head and shrinks ever so slightly away, cupping her hands in front of her. "Well... not exactly. There's sort of a person trapped inside me." She tried to make the revelation sound casual, as if this were completely normal. Of course, said "person" was not even humanoid, but was rather a talking hunk of metal embedded inside her, to keep it simple. She had failed to specify such.

Diana looks down at her mid-section, hinting at where said person was located. She seems to have become uncomfortable again, but raises her hands to try and show Ezrael a size with them by spreading them apart a certain distance. "Well... it's about this big physically!" The size she's indicating suggests that whoever it is is nearly as big as her /head/! Must be cramped in there. "It's a type of intelligent computer. I'm not really sure who made it, but I've never seen it's technology before." How did it even get inside her anyway? She didn't say.
