Eleanor (Ella) Glass, was born to Noel and Eleanor Glass. Her mother died in childbirth. Her father, a ranger, raised Ella in the ways of hunting, tracking, and a deep appreciation for nature and the cycles of life and the earth. They traveled through many realms, became acquainted with many different races and species. When Ella was thirteen, her father was murdered when they were ambushed by a skirmish of bandits. Ella managed to escape, but not before she was attacked and bitten by one of the bandits, who was a lycanthrope. For several years, Ella kept to the woods, ashamed of her condition, surviving off the skills her father taught her and keeping away from people in order not to hurt them. As a result, Ella is somewhat untrusting and uncomfortable around people, generally reserved and quiet.
