Eponine's Story

The woman whom had been in lotus position would stretch her wings first, before rising still sitting, and open her eyes. Taking them all in she uncross her legs, and let them drop before finally speaking, "We suspect you came here to ask, we also know of Sarah and know she can do this. We shall watch." each time she spoke it was a harmonious echo that seemed to be more than being or person.

As she walked on over, her tattoos over her face would light up, as would her eyes. Traversing from the field she finally stopped and examined the young teen in front of her, "We believe he is old enough to learn." with that she would conjure a blade of a strange light metal and hand it over to him, "We wish you luck, we shall be watching."

With that she would close her eyes, sit back down, and resume lotus position, saying, "Begin."

Still with her eyes closed she whispered a chant, and slowly a group of spectral warriors would appear next to him, one would bow before taking similar stance and waiting, "We shall now start." is all she would say, eyes still remaining shut.

The Spectral warrior would easily block the clumsy blow with it's own blade, it would remain emotionless and bow once more. A voice would come from direction of Eponine, "Less clumsy strikes, Sarah or Metatron show him some things, using this dummy."

Out of nowhere a straw dummy would appear right next to them, "Now watch what they do Simon, we shall be sure to credit you if you achieve this simple act."

The woman in lotus position would speak, her voice echoing, "We will not be questioned, the sword is perfect for him..." she paused, "But if you insist..." she placed a small lightness charm on it, "We shall now resume."

The Spectral warrior would respond and approach before bowing and this time raise it's blade and swing in an arc that would in theory in young teen's eyes decapitate him, but would in actual fact do no harm.

The Warrior strike would be blocked, but unlike last time, it drew out another sword with it's other hand and swung towards the right leg. Meanwhile Eponine would speak, "Remember, no enemies play fair. We are making this as realistic as possible."

The Warrior would fall and vanish leaving nothing. Eponine would speak, "A good fighter thinks about everything, you now have my undue attention.." her eyes would open as stood up once more, "I shall now take him to final challenge we shall return and by then he shall be twenty one and he shall receive his armor..." pausing she would take his hand, "Then we shall try find someone who knows the ritual to shackle a demon, unless Lucie whom I heard has returned, knows of anyone."

The doors of the vast structure carved of some unnameable material with glossy finish and almost crypt-like would burst open with a mighty gust. The grass and foliage around would bend in the force of this blast.

Everyone who was in training in the field would stop, knowing how long it had been since the doors had sealed with a young teenager inside, how Eponine had not trained anyone for centuries, but here she was now. Here she was finished, her sword drawn, wings spread and everything about her proud and majestic, dignified even.

With celestial yell she would speak, "IT IS DONE. WE HAVE TAUGHT HIM ALL WE KNOW, AND SHALL EVER KNOW. HE IS READY." with that she would leave the entrance and watch as taller shadow would slowly materialize from the gulf of darkness within the great immense structure.

Eponine would slowly nod and say, "We are proud of how you turned out and wish you well in your duties." with that she would walk off and start meditating once more.
