Hassan navigated the garbage of Trashtown with remarkable ease, he'd picked up the familiar noises of gunfire and roar of ATW's. If there were enemies in the heart of the rebellion, they needed to inform the girl. Hassan's antennas flicked out of his red shawl, bowing underneath a broken wreck and sliding down a hill of trash.

Hassan perched upon a mound of discarded luggage and stared at the home of the inventor Yasva. Yasva wasn't someone that the spirits knew, and it caused their plasmatic fluid inside their metal skull to curdle. Someone he didn't know had established a home just outside his usual prowling area.

The vibrant light of their three-eyed optic on the left of host's skull clicked around in a circle and the machine gave a curious trill. This wasn't enough to call into the girl with, they needed to know more. The spirit sunk down into a three-legged gait, hoping to remain unseen as it scampered across the ground and stopped short infront of Tryst.

Tryst, they knew, if only barely. The host raised it's three-clawed hand and put it in-front of it's skull and then pointed at the door, moving it's head from side to side. "Inquire safety of the Toye?" It whispered to the cyborg feline. Hassan's voice sounded like someone was quickly changing radio talk stations.

"Good to know I was able to help that quickly," laughed Josai. "I hope to be able to see this invention and use it when the time comes. It better be good, Yasva."

When he asked about her trade, she stiffened up and gave the Misranan salute. "Common soldier at the service of the Nazuan Rebellion, carrying out Rauta's will," she lied fluidly. "I am going to be shipped out early tomorrow morning. There's a small stalemate out at Calidona, and they need backup."

A complete, complete lie. There was a stalemate, but they had enough soldiers there. No, Josai was going on a far more dangerous mission.

Outside, Tyst scrutinized Hassan with her green, slanted optics. He was the same as herself, a spirit used to pilot a biomachine. There was a mutual respect for those on the same level that was traded quietly.

"Toye's safety is confirmed," she replied in that smooth feminine voice that had been chosen by Josai after she had been stolen and redesigned. The spirit itself, Tyst's own, had not had any resemblance to male or female before that. "You are concerned. Is there reason behind it?"

"We have never seen this building before, conclusion found to be spy of the supremacy, but since you are not scrapped, we have been forced to recall our original conclusion." Hassan tilted their head, the gears clicking around as it approached the door and tried to find a peephole, brushing their hands across the door and turning back around to face Tryst.

"Conclusion needed before transmit to network, is the Toyai safe and the soul of this building a peaceful one?" One of the antennas on their back flicked up and started to broadcast static, the machine beeping like a broken modem.

Josai's eyes popped open. "A meeting with Dasaliz!? You've got to be mad! Not even I've gotten to... er... no one ever gets to see her face. Very few people know of her whereabouts, and I doubt we've ever come in contact with those people." She let out a breathy laugh right after she spoke, "But you've really got ambitions, don't you!" The woman lifted her eyes to Yasva's. "Try Mabon and Pavi Takot. I'll put in a good word for you, since I know them both personally. They're big names here, but just a rung on the ladder to get your tech out there."

____________

Outside, Tyst shifted in her position, then slowly made her way to the door. Her technology was built to irritate her spirit within if she suspected Josai was in potential danger. The walker shot Hassan the closest thing she had to a glare. "We are in Trashtown and the event is unlikely that a Supremacist spy has infiltrated. You are making this unit paranoid, but if you must, we will check."

____________

Josai frowned suddenly, feeling a voice ring inside her head. She looked toward the garage doors, huffing. "Something seems wrong, Yasva. Would you open the doors?"

Yasva stroked his face during Josai's brief description of their rebel leader. "So she's the reclusive type." For good reason. Now that he thought about it, it wouldn't seem wise for the head of the Rebellion to be openly approachable, what with would-be assassins and Calidonan spies.

"Mabon and Pavi Takot.." he took a mental note of the names, and thanked her for giving him a push in the right direction.

Upon hearing her request Yasva stepped to the door, gripped the knob firmly, and pulled it open. His eyes immediately came to rest on Josai's ATW and the robotic creature standing alongside her.

Confused, he returned his gaze to Josai while signaling for her to come over. Perhaps she knew what this thing was, and what it was doing here.

"Reclusive. Yes. That's how the Rebellion have survived so long, though, isn't it? It's because the Supremacy can't find Trashtown." Among other things.

When the garage door opened, the woman's eyes grew in slight surprise. She crossed her arms and frowned. "Hassan!" she cried. "What are you doing here?" She looked toward Yasva apologetically. "I am so sorry. I don't know why he's here at all. He's a spirit-guided machine, much like Tyst. Just...not a vehicle."

Hassan tilted their head back and forth, the gears clicking and whirring in their left eye as it examined Yasva. The man looked normal enough, and that was the problem. That's how spies got in. The metal husk leaned to the right to look past the two humans and into the building.

"Query into the trustworthiness of the outsider, Toyai and Yasva." The chains rattled as the robot lowered itself onto it's haunches, ready to run at the slightest provocation. The antennas crackled with electricity and rotated slowly, trying to establish a connection with the rebel radio waves.

"Outsider marked as untrustworthy, supersedes passive treatment, Has & San have reached agreement that prospective spy for the Supremacy." Hassan bumbled, it's right optic rotating slowly.

Yasva quirked a brow upon hearing the declaration of the sentient machine. He shook his head in protest, remaining just inside the doorway of the garage. "I most certainly am not a spy." he reacted defensively. Of course, that's exactly what a spy would say wasn't it?

What was he thinking?! He knew he wasn't a spy, so he needn't worry about a thing. Koren stepped aside while gesturing for Hassan to enter, "You can come and take a look inside if you want, I have nothing to hide." This was always the point in the movie where the suspect runs for some reason, probably because they were afraid of getting hit with some unrelated charges. This of course, made it seem like they were a spy.

"Hassan!" exclaimed Josai once more. Her hands were on her hips now. "If this man was a spy then the Supremacy would already be all over this place, don't you think?" She tapped her foot impatiently. "And you think I'd be able to figure it out on my own if he was!" After all, she was going in on an espionage mission the following day. But no one knew that's what it was.

She glanced at Yasva with a frown. "I... don't know what's gotten into him. Hassan always has been very protective. That's one of the reasons he's here. He's a guardian. Hassan, it's fine. This man's fine."

The robot stepped forward. The radio antennas flicking downwards and folding back down into their carapace in order to fit though the door frame, the patchwork robot sweeping and scanning for anything suspicious. "Headstrong Toye. Biological thing easily compromised, no security. A million mortal flaws." Hassan said, as if they were talking to a child.

"You do not fear what happen to the outsider, Has likes his use of trashtown resources." The robot arched up and scuttled over to Yasva and leaned forward, breaching personal space and tilted it's head to the left and started to click away with a broken optic, attempting to save pictures of the man.

"Name? Has & San require information to send to supremacy contact." Hassan asked blandly.

A sigh of relief escaped his lips as Josai expounded, keeping a close eye on the little robot as it examined the interior of his home. Now that it mentioned it, maybe he did need include some security measures into the dwelling's design; it wouldn't hurt. After all, you never know when someone will decide to just waltz up and attack; especially if you were something as valuable as a mechanic or inventor.

"Thanks for vouching." he whispered to Josai.

He stepped back a bit when Hassan approached him. To be honest, the little robot kind of creeped him out. The audible 'clicks' coming from the machine caught his attention. Is it taking pictures of me?

"Yasva Koren." he replied.

The woman seemed insulted. Her hands came to her hips and lips thinned in a sneer. "Hassan!" she cried out. "Back away! That's an order! He's a new face and you've no grounds to interrogate him so."

Tyst sat outside of the garage and watched very intently. She was amused, but there was hardly a way for her to express it.

"Has & San operate for safety of the trash. The black spires shimmer and shine not for the Toye. You cannot change the parts of the machine husk now." The spirit hit the side of it's head with a robot claw, tapping the side of it's sullen metal skull. Hassan turned around to look at Yosai and tilted it's head.

Why would she be angry? Has was only doing their duty and San couldn't read into her facial expression. Hassan faked a large amount of his interaction with other beings. "Has & San are not breaching any laws, we are simply doing the job we were meant to do. We do not know where this order comes from, citation is required, but we will do."

The spirit backed up. "We heard contact, stranger at contact point, Toye visibly agitated, is Yasva & Koren holding you at gunpoint?" The robot leaned to the side and at the roof to look for any firearms. "Did we walk into human interaction?"
