Inferno Date (The Angel of Death)

Come, can you stand before me? Have you the courage to stand before death himself? Or are you just like the other cattle before you, frozen in fear before your inevitable demise?

Description

Inferno is roughly six feet, five inches tall with a pale complexion and long, jet black hair. His eyes are blood red and have slit pupils like that of a predatory animal. They are almost always filled with killing intent so intense that mortals could die by staring directly into them. He has a lean, but muscular physique with dense muscles that show clearly, though aren't too big. His jet black hair falls half-way down his back, the front combed neatly to either side. His fangs are longer than most vampyres, as were those of Eve before him. He looks as a human would in their mid-twenties, but the anger and animosity shown in his eyes tell the tale of one who is older than any human could comprehend. If he is seen, he is always wearing a formal black suit with a blood red tie.

Personality

Inferno is evil incarnate. The weak will die before him, the good will be corrupted, the pure will be tainted. There are few who can resist the master of the dark.

Equipment

Inferno wields the godly weapon, Retribution. A scythe with a long, silver shaft and a long, cruel, black blade with silver runes written across the edge. The blade itself is an embodiment of evil, it sucks the energy, life force, and essence from whatever it cuts until all that is left is dust. Mist and ice can often be seen along the edge as the metal absorbs the heat from the air itself. The scythe can be warped into a scythe shaped amulet.

History

As a boy, Inferno lived in a small village in what is now Germany. At the time, the village was being oppressed by the residing warlord, who found it amusing to beat or even kill the residents. One day Inferno had enough and killed one of the warlord's followers with a harvest scythe. It was then that Eve, the first vampyre to come into existence appeared before him, offering him the means to destroy the evil men and free the village. Without a second thought, Inferno accepted. Eve bit him then, changing him into the second of the vampyre species. However, during the bite, something awakened in Inferno that Eve had not intended. A power resided deep inside of him, left from the father of the human race, powerful beings that had long been extinct. The power ran through Inferno as he was changed. Black waves of fire cycled around him as Eve watched in shock as Inferno opened his eyes, showing them to be blood red and full of evil intent. Eve was spared from the events that happened next, and the village was indeed freed.. Inferno had killed every last human there. He was the first vampyre to hate the humans and see them for what they were; cattle. Though this hate did indeed burn through him for the millenia to come, he did, however, grow a soft spot for one human woman. Her name was Selina. An elementalist with extraordinary talent, for a human of course. Without thinking about the outcome, he conceived two children with her. One of which had taken after him... Inferno developed an almost sadistic pride then. He had warped the human race in yet another way, and now there was another being like him.. That could become like him.. If not for the kind woman that was his mother. He killed Selena, who had stood to face her as he tracked down his sons. Years later, he killed his second son, Caleb, before Sage's eyes. He then beat Sage down, and left him on the battlefield, utterly defeated, with the one gift he would ever receive from his father. Millenia later, Inferno still battles Sage whenever they meet, somewhat hoping his son will grow powerful enough to defeat him.
