Irina Veselovsky's Story

A lone transport ship entered into the Gaelian System, its exterior made a bucket of bolts look good. The pilot though loved the thing she had first crafted and then successfully flew. The engine was brand new, successfully haggled for in the black markets of Wing City. She sighed as she caught the images of the surrounding planets. She final destination was the capital city of Arastel, she had been able to do what she should have done six months ago.

She had tried to not remember the message she received from her parents. They had been on Arastel for some business, they hadn't mentioned what though. They did mention the unrest; and while unrest happened everywhere, but this involved the Aschen. Unrest that involved the Aschen didn't usually bode well for ordinary citizens, yet this time...

She hadn't a clue who to be mad at, they had been caught at the space port in the middle of the explosion that killed several others. She knew what it was like not to want the Aschen controlling every single aspect of your life. She had lived like that before, and she had been in the midst of many other war zones also. Yet, the one she was thinking of took the lives of her husband and son. She had to get this done before moving on with her plans. There were many other places to go, she had a list in her tablet. The Dufang Corp wanted new areas on the list of places, she was the scout ahead. Making friends was one of her strong points, she was a very intelligent and very well informed individual. Yet her hatred of the Aschen; that was going to get in her trouble one day, the day she slips up and lets people know how she really feels.

She knew there was more answers to be found in Illumene.

Irina's docking went without many questions, she had clearance papers and the necessary paperwork stating her reasons to be on Illumene. It helped that her father was an Aschen citizen, she supposed. The capital city would have been something of a sight, especially for a girl who had just spent her last year in a backwater colony. It was mostly for this reason that communications were rare, she wondered if she had found out sooner that her parents were on Arastel, if they would still be alive. There were two places she needed to go, one being to find her parents contact. Two were to see if there was anything collected off the dead from that day. She knew that both of her parents she have had some form of id on them.

She sort of hoped that being Aschen helped in that case, their belongings still were in order.

She stopped in front of the entrance to the park, and sat down. Her thoughts were to chaotic, as must as she wanted closure she had to many feelings going on.

She was tired...to tired.

She looked about, she figured it would take longer to get to the contact, but she have wondered where the best place to inquire about belongings would be...police station or government building. Aschen's did everything in a different way, and being there were bounties out on the people who bombed the spaceport, her questions had to be careful.

What she would love was to collect some of those bounties herself, and maybe get some one-on-one time with the bastards involved. However she wasn't a bounty hunter...but she knew a few, one of her good friends came to mind. One that owed her a favor.
