Jacob strutted into the bar. He gave off nothing but an aura of charisma, confidence and knowing that he was pretty fucking awesome when you got down to it. Behind him came several bodyguards and a few other young men in suits. Jacob himself clad in a white Armani suit underneath which he wore a black suit vest and white dress shirt with a black tie.

The young man and his group headed towards the bar counter, Jacob leading with a swagger that could only be matched by few. Very few.

To top that off, the young man was strikingly handsome. He knew this. He tended to use it to his advantage. Those who were big on tabloids and such news would recognize the young man as the billionaire playboy Jacob Haley.

Jacob made his way across the room to the counter, raising a light brown eyebrow at Daimon. He shook his head, turning to the counter. "I need a drink." Jacob said to Alix.

"Like... now." He continued, "Not meaning to be rude, but I just got to the city and I want to be blasted." The young Englishman said.

Jacob and his men turned to watch the commotion. It was very entertaining. Though, they would have liked it if there was a nightclub to go to. Gambit's Bar wasn't really Jacob's scene, at least not so far.

The people didn't seem intent on having fun. Just fighting, yelling, cowering in fear and not doing what one usually does in a bar. Which was drinking, fighting and yelling.

"Who wants to just go fight a big mean demon?" Jacob asked, "This city must be full of Americans. They don't make many great decisions." The young man looked back to Alix, nodding his head. "Just bring us some beers." Jacob said, he and the other young men taking seats at the counter. His bodyguards finding a table to watch from.

"A nightclub to go to would be better than this place." Jacob said to Alix, looking over the business car as best he could. "Where'd you get that?" He asked, pointing to the card.

"Give me anything that'll get me drunk." Jacob said with a smile. "I see. He should have told me. That's my father." The young man told Alix. "I'm Jacob Haley, I'm here to help with the search. It frees my father up for the most part. That and I'm not a geezer. I can appeal to the younger crowd." Jacob said with a laugh.

"Or maybe I'm just here to get wasted and party while pretending to help out."

"I'm new to the city and I don't exactly hang out with the kind of people my father is looking to hire." Jacob told Alix, "I'm guessing he chose you because... this is a bar, popular one I've heard, you probably meet and see all kinds of people looking for work. Maybe even some of my siblings."

Jacob leaned over the counter towards Alix, "Between you and I, my father can be a dick. I don't blame the others for leaving."

"He has his high expectations and all that." Jacob told Alix, "He wasn't as bad as he is now until mom died. That's when he got worse. I'm no therapist, but I can see that he doesn't want to be alone. He wants a legacy one day, keeping us around to take over the family business means he can make sure we're on the path he wants." Jacob explained to Alix.

"Honestly, I do know that one day I or one of the others will be running the show. Sowing these wild oats before that time comes." Jacob said with a laugh, twisting the cap off of his bottle of alcohol.

"You should help, I guess. A little extra money in your pocket and in the pockets of a few other people who aren't... rich does seem like incentive."

Jacob laughed, waving a dismissive hand. "I wouldn't blame you for hitting on me." He told Alix, "I was blessed with good looks and a great body. Plus, my family is rich as hell. Who wouldn't take advantage of such luck?" He asked.

"As for running the family business, well... I doubt it'd be as fun as working in a place like this. If I'm lucky I can be a Bruce Wayne and let other people do the important stuff while I party." Jacob told Alix.

"Not sure I'd make a great Batman though. Not a fan of capes or possibly having the crap beat out of me by thugs." He joked.

"It seems fighting is a common thing here. I had only heard stories, it's nice to see it with my own eyes." Jacob said to Alix, "Well, not really all that nice. It disrupts the flow of people. What's the point of this place if everyone will eventually stop showing up to avoid fighting?"

The young man looked to Alix, "Bad for business. Maybe when a few more people find out that I'm hanging out here you'll get more business. I like to think that I'm popular."

The young man thought for a moment. "I wonder how many new people I'd be able to bring here if I became the official face of Gambit's Bar. I imagine a flock of females, maybe some of the more homosexual of men, if we're lucky we can attract other people with money to throw away." Jacob told Alix.

He began to look Alix over, taking in as much as they could. "I didn't think you were into women. I assumed you were a bent."

"Yeah. Gay." Jacob said, "Sorry, I tend to forget not everyone is a Brit." Jacob said with a smile. "I'll try to speak a little more North American for you, mate." The young man raised his drink up to his lips, deciding it best to get a little buzz going.

"Why not buy any new clothes?" Jacob asked, "You must make enough money to buy better lookking threads."

Jacob stood from his seat, tapping the counter to grab the attention of the other men he was with. "We should get going for now." He said to Alix, tossing several credits on the counter to cover his drink, those of his friends and the drinks of the other people present who hadn't paid yet.

"I'll be seeing you around." Jacob said, leading his group out of the bar.

Jacob's bodyguards slid into the bar, at least fifteen large men in black suits and carrying no visible weapons. That wasn't to say they weren't carrying any. After a few moments Jacob himself stepped in with his usual confident strut. A black Armani suit making up his apparel.

It was safe to say that the thread count of the young man's suit was high, the price tag was even higher. Those who paid any attention to tabloid news probably the young man as billionaire playboy Jacob Haley. Notorious among the richest people in the Multiverse for his many one-night stands and various paramores.

Jacob made his way over to the counter, his several bodyguards finding themselves some tables to watch from. Jacob grabbed a menu, ordering a karge assortment of juices and sodas for his bodyguards. He then ordered himself a glass of tequila.

"Where is that Alix kid?" He asked, looking around for Alix. He liked them enough to at least seek them out for conversation. They seemed fare more entertaining than the others present,

"Why do you want to know why I want to know?" Jacob asked, an eyebrow raising as he looked Ken over. He then glanced to Dawn, offering them a wave. "Hello." The young man said, then turning his attention back to Ken.

"That's a very strange question to ask." Jacob informed Ken, "Considering that the first thing I did was order drinks and I didn't really ask anyone where Alix was. To put it simply, making sure you can understand, no, I won't be harming Alix of whoever is protecting... 'her'." Jacob told Ken, grabbing his glass of tequila once it was brought his way.

Jacob was sure his father wouldn't like him killing Christopher in front of so many people. He'd have to wait until the man was alone and either strangle him or just shoot him in the back. Jacob wasn't a big fan of disrespect, especially from people who were lesser than he was. Which was almost everyone in his eyes.

He controlled himself for now, contemplating heading up to see Alix and make his day more enjoyable.

Jacob couldn't help but laugh a little at Scot. "Nice moves, you'll attract all of the ladies like that." Jacob joked, soon casting his gaze on Dawn. "If you don't know who I am... no, I'm not famous. If you do, I am famous."

"Very used to them." Jacob told Scot, "And, while I may not make my own money, I will once my father passes on ownership of his company to me." Jacob just assumed it would be him. He thought of himself as the best and brightest of his father's children. The others didn't come close to rivaling him.
