Description
Personality
A full-blown smartass. Nothing more, nothing less.
Equipment
His specialty is, of course, knives and daggers. He prefers daggers, though, as they are sharp on both sides, instead of just one.
Jake is good at throwing knives and CQC with Daggers.
He also has a mystical ability to retrieve his blades from where ever they are, and to transform any object into a knife of the same substance. (I.E. He can turn a beer bottle into a glass dagger of the same color.) The change in size depends on him. But the bigger the object, the more strain it is on him. If something is made of more than one substance, then the knife will resemble both, but would mainly be concentrated on the strongest substance.
History
I'll develop this as I go. I'm not much for details.
So begins...
Jake Wrythe's Story
Jake Wrythe would walk into the bar. It was his first time in the bar. "Eh? Why the hell are there Armored men everywhere?" he asked himself, avoiding them. He would move to the side of the bar, and sit.
Jake Wrythe facepalmed. "What the hell? I just want a drink!" he said, outloud. This luck of his would change someday, he thought. He scanned the bar for anyone normal. "Eh. Maybe I'll find someone worth talking to."
Jake Wrythe "I HAVE to have some vodka." he declared, watching the action die down. He rubbed his temples, and mumbled under his breath. A few shots would do nicely.
Jake Wrythe would look to Claire. He sighed. "Geez. I'm bored. Might as well talk to someone." he would casually walk over to Claire, and jokingly bow. "'Ello, Madam. My name is Jacob Wrythe. May I join you at your table?" he said, a smirk on his face.
Jake Wrythe sat down at the table with her. "Well, I guess I could ask you the same thing, couldn't I?" he said, grinning. "But to answer your question, I'm just a guy who happens to be consumed by boredom. Can I buy you a drink?" he asked her.
Jake Wrythe Laid back in his chair. "I know I don't need to. I would be doing it out of my own free will, of course." he said, popping his wrist. He leaned back too far in his chair, and had to jar himself forward in order to stop from falling back. Embarrassed, he mumbled something to himself and looked away.
Jake Wrythe "No, nothing. Almost fell outta my chair. That's all." he muttered. He shook it off quick. "Iight. I think I'll take a Vodka Martini." He grinned. "Shaken, not stirred." he said, trying to sound like James Bond. After he went and ordered the drinks, he brought them back. "For the lady." he said, handing her her drink. He would sit down with his own.
Jake Wrythe "Well, Miss Moneypenny, I got them from my Mother." he said, still making 007 jokes. "I don't believe I caught your name...." he said to her, sipping his drink.
Jake Wrythe chuckled. "Yeah, I know it was." he finished his drink. "It's a pleasure, Claire." he said to her, smiling. "And no problem."
Jake Wrythe "It's alright. I haven't a British accent either." his voice was soothing, but not seductive. It was a trait he admired most about himself, other then his innate ability with knives and daggers.
Jake Wrythe "Eh? How'd you know I was good with...?" he asked, an eyebrow raised. Was she a mind reader? He hadn't said a thing about being good with small blades.
Jake Wrythe sighed. It wouldn't be the first mind-reader he had come across in his day. "Mind-reader, right?" he asked, calmly. On the plus side, it was good that they shared the same abilities.
Jake Wrythe "You are, aren't you?" he said to himself. "Why not? As long as you don't stab me with it. Not that I'd let you, or anything."
Jake Wrythe "Heh. Don't put me to the test." he laughed. He leaned over to look at the blade. "Wow. This is amazing. Where on Earth did you get this?" he said, genuinely amazed.
Jake Wrythe "An Assassin AND a mind reader. Interesting." he sat back down. "Remind me not to piss YOU off!" he said, smiling.
Jake Wrythe "Heh. Now THAT I should have expected. Nearly everyone in Wing City is a vampire." he said, smiling and crossing his arms. "Not that I really care, as long as they don't bite me. 'Course, I guess that would only make me even more dangerous."
Jake Wrythe wagged a finger at her. "I don't think I would want to be bitten. And If I did, I could give you plenty of reasons to." he smiled as he said this. It was simply a matter of keeping his humanity. One day he might decide to sell his soul to the devil. But not today.
