Kojoro grew up within the Okori clan under the strict influence of her parents and the rest of the clan. As she grew she came to realize her place. Harsh training and punishments where a way of life for her. Being a girl, and not head of house, she held the lowest rank in the house hold. Her feelings and thoughts held no value to those around her for a long time. And so she learned to avoid punishment, to keep her mouth closed, and serve the clan as she was meant to do knowing one day she was to be married off to help the clan gain standing in other realms. After Risking her life to stand up for her mother she gained... a little respect from her clan. Her father died when Bandits attacked the clan house, and her mother's drinking and abuse only got worse. Her only Friend was Jesse, a fellow Kitsune not of her clan whom had a curse placed upon him.

 “ Kojoro giggled as she watched Jesse. He was just so cute! The kitsune wondered if they would catch anything as excited as he was, but it didn't really matter at the moment. They where having fun, that was enough. Kojo sat at the water's edge with her legs dangling into the water and a simple fishing pole in her hand. "You'll scare the fish away if you keep moving your tail around like that." She said softly with a smile. Jesse was a funny sight, but Kojo couldn't help worry if there where large fish that could eat him. ”

 “ Kojo gave a little cry of surprise and dropped her fishing pole when Jesse slipped into the water. SHe dove after him without thinking, making a grab and of course, missing. The young kitsune sat there on her hands and knees, watching Jesse with concern at first, then smiling as he swam back to her. "You scared me!" SHe said as she snatched the wet puff ball up to hug him. "Ooh! I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you!" She said softly before holding him at arms length. "Maybe it would be easier the other way." With a giggle, Kojo Would kiss Jesse's nose, then scramble backwards a bit so he would have room to change. ”

Kojo had to feel around in the water for a few moments to find her fishing pole, then started to real the line in so she could recast. "Little Jesse sort of fell in so I thought-" She cute off and perked her ears up at a tug on her line, then started reeling it in again. "I have a bite!" ”

Her ears and tail drooped a bit and her face turned a little red as she stared at it.  “ considered throwing the Boot at Jesse for a moment, but only laughed and tossed it behind her. "Yea, yea." She said lightly as she got ready to cast again. Though, she paused when Jesse said he would catch the fish. "Uh okay.." A slightly doubtful Kojoro watched Jesse as he dove into the water, then gave a little squeal and jumped to her feet when she was hit in the head with a trout. "Heehee! That's amazing!" As Jesse Hit the fish onto the bank, Kojo started gathering them up to be used for sushi. This had to be the most fun she had ever had preparing to cook. ”

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
