Description
Personality
Quote: Witty and sarcastic, Kyle always tries to find something funny/insulting to say. He doesn't usually instigate a fight, but isn't going to back down from a challenge.
Equipment
The case is carved from a fancy, hardy, and exotic wood with silver inlay. The handle of the sword has simple grip tape, while a vein of silver runs down the center of the blade. He wears a simple, silver necklace and carries around a lute on occassion.
The lute is nothing special, really.
History
Kyle's sword is a family heirloom, as far as he says. He doesn't like to talk about his past, but will admit that he doesn't come from the most honorable family. (It was torn apart by greed and hate) He tries to help people to atone for his own problems. Of course half the time he can't tell who is the "good" guy and who is the "bad" guy. He had a run in with a bunch of cultists that worship a powerful Mamono demon they call Tiamty. Unknown to him, the creature/cultists are coming after him... soon.
(Because I can not find a working link for this creature, I guess I'll actually have to do some work to describe it)
A Mamono is a creature a little taller then a human. Instead of hands, it's arms end in long, bone sword blades serrated like a harpoon. The creature has no mouth, and a single eyeball that takes up most of the top front portion of it's face. Its skin is warped, and its muscles grotesque. A predator/elite (If you've seen any of the predator movies, the AVP movies, or the halo games, you should know what I'm talking about. If not, ask someone you know or "google" it) style mouth is set into its stomach, the four mandibles covered in a row of teeth. The top, elongated set end in fang-like, razor sharp teeth. It smells like death, and fights like a crazy gorilla mixed with a cornered wild cat. Tiamty has the ability to summon more, but he is a powerful commander and thus the Mamonos he summon aren't as hard to kill as he is.

Kyle Cassper fidgeted and adjusted the cuffs of his shirt uncomfortably. His katana sway slightly with each hurried step he took towards the bright, neon sign of Gambit's bar. The dense rain beat against everything and provided an annoying, drumming back beet that only made him want to seek shelter more. His soaking tail wrapped around his waist as he finally reached the door to the bar. Without hesitation, he pussed it open and stepped inside, closing it against the cold air. He proceeded over to the fire place took off his jacket, slouching into a seat without a sound.

Kyle Cassper looked up when the door opened. A not so bad looking female in a... strait jacket? [A strait jacket? I that "in style" now?] he wondered to himself, cursning the horible pop culture. He leaned back in his seat a little, but grimaced and leaned forward again as the end of his weapon's scabbard jabbed into his back.
He unstrung his weapon and lay his katana against his seat, watching the strait-jacket'd lady with interest.

Kyle Cassper would note that going to the fireplace would be moving towards him, not away to the other side of the room. As Tabitha approached the fireplace, he shifted slightly in his seat and made sure his katana was at an easy reach. Satasified that he could grab it quickly if need be, he sat back and stretched out his legs, sitting in a way so that his tail lay motionless on his lap.
Kyle Cassper was a foolhardy person who was to stupid for his own good to fear dragons. If he could brave the horrors of the shadowlands, he was more then certain his family diasho (Katana and Wakazashi) could deal with it.
Kyle Cassper said that wrong. It wasn't that he was too stupid, but honor is a big thing to him because of a lot of things that happened in his past that you would have to ask real nice like to find out what it was, exactly.
Kyle Cassper reflexively shifted in his seat again so that he could get up when Tabitha drew one of her knives. [Hmm... don't see many of 'em in these parts,] he thought to himeslf. He grabbed his katana and placed it on his lap. His tail slowly twirled around the scabbard. He looked at Tabitha and waited to see what she was planning to do.
Kyle Cassper sighed, now feeling crowded. He stood up, holding his katana, and walked over to the bar counter, agreeing with himself that he had dried off enough. He ordered a glass of mountain dew from the (NPC or otherwise) bartender and watched everyone silently.
Kyle Cassper now feels kind of left out, but ignored the feeling. He recieved his mountain dew, silly straw included, and drank most of it, sighing with relief. He placed the now mostly empty glass on the counter with a five dollar bill and walked towards the dragon without caution. He bowed politely in an Shaolin Monk style way, just as the creature let out a hail of fog causing him to hack and gasp for breath, backing away and reaching for his weapon.
