Overall Appearance: Laura is, by necessity, a strong and athletic woman. It's no use knowing how to banish a demon if you can't outrun it if it decides not to wait for you to finish chanting. Thus, Laura's build is thin but muscled, and her brunette hair is kept at a tame length around her shoulders. Her eyes are hazel, and generally smiling - Laura is a very smiley woman, but it's hard to tell if she's smiling in that she's amused, happy, or affectionate; or if she's smiling in that you're about to lose your head. If you're a malicious demon, then it's probably the latter.
Personality: Laura is a no-nonsense woman, and has little patience for bullshit. Of course, bullshit is quite loosely defined as 'being a douche', 'sticking your foot in it', or 'getting on her nerves' - otherwise, Laura isn't that fussed. Somewhat relaxed about her occupation, Laura quite frequently tells callers to her agency to 'fuck off, it's a benevolent fairy, you tosser'. By that, one can interpret that Laura has nothing against demons that don't set people on fire or turn them inside out, or other various unpleasant things; from petty theft to childnapping.
Skills and Talents:
- Adept with firearms and explosives, and with ample supply of both. Very ample.
- A capable hand-to-hand fighter, both with fists and a combat knife.
- A skilled archer, one of Laura's primary anti-demon weapons is a runic bow.
- Deadly with her secondary anti-demon weapon set, a shortsword and bladed and spiked buckler.
- Speedy runner, and acrobatic.
Abilities:
- Rune Magic: Whilst not a mage herself, Laura carries with her runes and signets that have varying effects on foes.
- Ice Rune: Depending on her intention, this rune can be employed to fire blasts of frost at people, or to encase them from the bottom up in ice. That sort of thing.
- Divine Rune: Primarily employed for banishment purposes, this rune can also spear demonic entities with thin beams of light.
- Blood Rune: A draining rune that targets foes and draws on their life force to heal Laura and her allies.
- Ignition Rune: This rune makes things (non-biological things) explode, quite potently.
- Warp Rune: This rune allows for periodic teleportation; with ten minute gaps between teleports, but unlimited range.

- Runic Bow: Enchanted, this bow charges its arrows with divine firey power as soon as they leave it; this fire is effective against anyone, but the divine aspect comes into its own against demons or otherwise unholy creatures, can can cause catastrophic damage to them.
- Runic Shortsword: Enchanted, this sword can launch slashes of white fire similar to that of the bow as projectiles, or as a flamethrower, or just as an enhancement when it strikes a foe. Once again, damage heavily increases against demons and other unholy foes.
- Bladed Buckler - Small handheld shield with blades set around the edge capable of slashing across foes, as well as a small spike in its centre for punching blows.
- Body armour -- kevlar, etc.
