Marcus Luffe

Description

Marcus is a tall, young gentleman with cropped short black hair, Peircing blue eyes and a lopsided grin. His duster style coat hangs open much of the time to reveal a tan stab resistant and bullet resistant vest. A pair of dark combat trousers bloused into heavy black boots give him a very militant look. Marcus has a full body tatoo which is treated to change colour through his cyber pet's will. The small oriental Dragon, Shu, is akin to a tattoo but can and move around Marcuses body wherever the treatment has taken place. Shu is mischevious and will often trick onlookers by looking like a normal tattoo before switching sides or breathing fire, making Marcuses skin blossom with flame.

Personality

Marcus is surprisingly cheerful most of the time and enjoys life as long as it lasts. He enjoys a good drink, and will often pass the time with the populace without causing any commotion. Marcus has a great amount of sympathy for the working classes and has been known to take jobs with very poor pay so he can 'strike back' at the upper tiers of society.

Equipment

Marcus has a Stab and bullet resistant vest with six mag pouches and a single dump pouch, over this he wears a loose fitting duster jacket. This can give Marcus an oddly hunched appearance. Mut and Amon are a pair of revolvers that Marcus has inherited from his late grandfather. Long barreled, chrome and large chambered, these heavy pistols sit in a pair of arm slide holsters to be activated by a complex hand movement. Marcus carries three quick loaders for each. Marcus routinely uses Khonsu, a large assault rifle, lovingly customised with real wood furnature, something of a rarity in such densley packed areas, carved with several roses moving the length of the rifle, missing out the metal body. Khonsu is fitted with a complex device known as a smartlink. This technological marvel allows updeted target information and a barrel veiw which he can view via a pair of wrap around glasses. Khonsu also has a customised gas block system and flash hider to lower the recoil significantly. A small optic sits atop the top rail and Marcus usually carries six mags for Khonsu. Marcus has been known to use grenades on occasion, but is not overly fond of them due to their unpredictable nature.

History

Marcus grew up fast and hard, having lost his parents in a factory 'accident' that turned out to be part of an elaborate insurance scam. Marcus has survived hand to mouth for twenty years picking up the skills required of his survival. He has run with various groups on a financial basis sometimes due to the work, other times to simply ensure his survival. He has struck back at many corporations shows of almost random brutality including the Howestone massacre where armed enforcers killed twenty five civilians due to incorrect intel.
