"Oh, well I'm sure Gian doesn't mind, though..." Naria fell silent. "Did you remember the attack yesterday? We covered it up fairly well, but...Gian was hurt. Many of us were hurt, but far from camp. We were able to shut down the Omega unit without problems, but still...Gian will not be out of the healing pods for a while. I am sure that a visit from Rachel would cheer him up, however. He is conscious, at least."

"Yes. We do everything we can to keep base camp safe. We have several other camps planned out and supplied for escape if we need to. Trust me, Hope, Gadget is probably the safest place in Wing City. We are built for defense, not attack," she said, taking something into her hand. A water bottle that one of the bots had served them. Good thing the Gadget tab had everything they needed to buy whatever. With hundreds of members all working their part, it was guaranteed.

"Everyone, miraculously...will be okay."

Naria smiled. "I am glad if you are, Hope. You have become family to us. We are very glad to have you. I have also seen a change with Ai since you came. She was not...as happy...before. You do know that she is the first in Gadget to be expecting? The fact that there is another mother, yourself, to probably help her with this...she cannot fathom her luck." Especially a single mother. There were a few...problems...with Ai.

"Bo was almost yours? It never happened? Hope, care to explain?" asked Naria, clasping her fingers together. Metal upon flesh. "I know your culture, especially within relationships, is much, much different than our own. I am afraid there will have to be many things you will have to tell me."

As if to tie events, Naria Walker made her way into Gambits, wearing a simple baggy blouse that was long enough to be a dress, sleeveless and a light cream color. She had a pair of simple, tight black cotton shorts under it. Her cybernetic arm, complete with wires, tubes, clear plastic to allow those to see the workings within, and metal, was in full view. Obviously, she did not care for the deformity. It was the same for the piece upon her head, blinking lightly. And the lens, of course. The mechanic lens that replaced her left eye. It worked like a camera zoom-lens. She picked up the readings of one other mechanic being within the bar.
Hm, interesting.

It worked like a camera zoom-lens. She picked up the readings of one other mechanic being within the bar. Then again...he did not seem entirely mechanic. No, only the suit, and then again...were her readings off, for some reason? Strange. She spotted him easily, the eye zooming in.

The woman was more than strange to most, simply because of her cyborg parts, but with the intent that she was staring at Shine was even more unnerving. He looked like he had just been in a run in with a Scraper. Hell, he almost looked like one. But he was not one. She wanted to inquire...so badly.

Walking calmly over to Shine, she placed a hand onto his table, trying to offer a smile where a smile did not often sit. "I'm sorry, may I?" she asked, indicating the chair across from him.

"Well, you will find that things are often backwards in Gambits," she told him, voice calm, almost a deadpan. She slid into the seat, doing so easily. One of her sensors picked up the presence of The Unit, but she did not seem to pay attention. This man had it, the one right in front of her. The lens zoomed in a tad more, studying his face. Or, well, his helmet. "May I ask about your suit? You remind me of a familiar..." enemy? No, she couldn't say that. "...type of soldier that I am familiar with. Are you able to relieve yourself of the suit?"

"I would ask why that is, but I suppose that is a private reason," she said, narrowing her normal, human eye while the lens took in photographic details of his suit. No, it was not a Scraper suit. Not at all. She did not even have one warning from him. She let out the smallest of breaths, and she instantly looked less stiff than she had been before. Scrapers also did not flirt as such. It was a relief to hear those words from him.

"For once, and not for any reasons you may understand, hearing that helps me ease up," she said, laughing. Naria? Laughing? The rest of Gadget would have gawked. Pineapple included, having known her a while as she fixed Giselle's headpiece.

"But, back to the suit...does it maintain any special properties?"

"That is interesting. Truly. I know of few with such miraculous technology." Gadget, of course. But they were a team of ragtag intelligent kids. Who were they to someone like this? He was most likely in a military force. "And if your suit is that much, then what can that helmet do? I do hope that isn't one of those things that aren't classified," she gave him a little smirk. "Or I might have to do some coaxing."

What Naria would do for information was miraculous given her nature.

"Well, that is certainly a disappointment." Looked like she would have to do some hacking later. Many different kinds of it, as well. "Only a couple? You'd be holding out. Oh, and forgive me. I only just remembered you asked for my name. My mind works in a strange way." She held out the cybernetic hand, all the clear, tough plastic allowing him to see the small wires and fluids being passed through the organic and metal parts. "I am Naria Walker of Gadget. You are?"

"Well, you might be surprised. Just because I have lost some parts doesn't mean I have lost any completely human charms," she said, watching as he grasped her hand. Must have been a greeting more accustomed to the older. She wondered just what world he was from. What earth. As he put the straw inside of his helmet, she became even more curious. "Is it really such a bother to take the suit off?"

"Four seconds? How amazing..." he might need that when she decided to test him. Naria was not one for secrecy. She wanted to know how that suit worked. What was so important about that helmet? Bah. She would let it go...for now. "Myself?" she repeated, raising a brow. Well, it wasn't an often thing she wasn't the one asking the questions about someone. "Nothing terribly exciting. I've come here a tad recently. I'm part of a gang- though not your average brainless hooligans that you usually see running around. I suspect you are from a planet called earth? So am I, but very different than what you know, most likely."

"Not earthling? Then...alien? Never mind. I won't ask." She already had one alien on her. The woman didn't seem to know, but oh, Naria was much sharper than she appeared to be. "Time and space- it is not my forte. Technology is where I lead. I make the machines that make the science." Partially a lie. She was very into space technology. Time evaded her and made her frustrated. "Your world sounds like it is quite complicated. Much more organized than ourselves, anyway. I am apart of a hoverbike gang. We also serve as a defense and elimination force against a group we call Scrapers. I am one of many that create shields and weapons for the camp. And yourself? You are a soldier, and I take it you fight often."

Naria felt a spark go off in her headset. It wasn't a good one, either. Well, dammit. Another kind she had to fix later? Indeed. What a mess. She hoped it did not affect her behavior. "So, an alien for worlds, but not in DNA? That certainly is familiar." Gods. Not another Sarah, not another Sarah...

"I was not going to ask your help, but your technology is similar to their own. Suits. They use the same thing. Learning about your own might help, even a little, to have me understand how they work. That is...only if they are built the same way."

"Not my own. Scraper technology is different from Gadget technology by far. It is more advanced in ways. That is the problem, as well." She listened to him speak, eye on the spot on his helmet where his own eyes would be. "Battle reports...armor..." she mulled around the possibilities. Those would be useful, but her own curiosity was pushing her for much more deceptive options. She clicked her human and cybernetic fingers together. Then again, she could make this man a precious ally. What a hard choice, but both needed one step to continue-

She stretched out a hand toward Shine. "You have a deal, then. Are you sure that would be alright?"

"They won't have to know. And, if anything, my own higher-ups would be able to explain. They're good at covering for allies. Just because we call ourselves a gang doesn't mean we're necessarily just a bunch of teenagers having fun. That's only half the description." she told him, half smirking. "You should drop by and visit sometime. You might be disappointed until you understand what really is going on. Then you'll be blown away."

Naria nodded, the information- every one of his words- being stored away in a file. In a private database that only she could access in that headpiece. But his helmet? It sounded like the ultimate hacker weapon. Almost instantly, just with that little bit of information, she wanted to get her hands on it. It was the only bit of greed that consumed the woman.

"And the extra bit?" she repeated, looking up to him.

Though not particularly worried about security, there would be brief problems. Naria was a machine, and therefore, having a good deal of her body made out of metal, set off the detectors. With a short glare to security, waggling her cybernetic fingers to them in a wave, she waited to see if she was allowed to go. She had no weapons on her or built onto her frame. None at all. Eventually, however, she decided to walk on. They could stop her if they saw fit, but she was impatient.

"An entire universe? Well, that certainly sounds familiar," said Naria, more thoughts processed than she was letting out. Her movements followed Karsen as he climbed onto the bike. Hers flew very smoothly into the air without one sound.

Interesting. Their bikes can switch from a walker to a hover contraption. What a curious machine.

"You are in the Multiverse, the planet Terra, now near Wing City. You, like many others, seemed to have found yourselves tumbling here by accident. Are you the only two here?"
