An young director living in the 1920s, who may be just a little bit full of himself.
Confident and witty, Nate has always been quite charismatic. When he decides to turn on the charm, it's as though his selfish motives, arrogance and short temper don't even exist. He has a knack for "schmoozing", almost instinctually picking out the most important people in a crowd and then getting them on his side. This persuasive nature of his borders on manipulative at times, but this is show business. At the end of the day, all that matters is that you're still on top. And if you had to use a few people to get there...well, so be it.
His binder, containing everything and anything having to do with the play or movie he is working on at the time, and a package of cigarettes.
Nate was born and raised in the city, the son of a divorced restaurant owner. While his three old brothers seemed content enough to carry on the family business, Nate always believed he was destined for bigger things. He got into acting as a teenager, though it soon became clear that his career lay behind the scenes. He started directing in his early twenties, and slowly but surely began to work his way onto bigger projects. Things worked out for him; now, Nate is a well enough known director, and still on the rise. By demand of bigger and more powerful figures, he has just recently started directing movies, though with reluctance. In his opinion, nothing beats honest-to-goodness, real life plays.
