Personality

Ragnar's work as a mercenary has given him a battle-hardened, commanding presence towards anyone in the same room as him. Though beneath the warrior exterior beats the heart of a man with simple tastes: booze, friends, and tales of glory. And he loves to tell spin those stories over a mug of ale, surrounded by friends and acquaintances. He is generally warm towards new folks, sporting a friendly demeanor from the get-go. Though that warmth doesn't extend to all. Angering or otherwise provoking him is a good way to have your cranium introduced to your colon via a swing of his warhammer.

Equipment

Ragnar's pride and joy is his warhammer, Spinebreaker. It is a monster of a weapon, requiring both of his mighty arms to swing. However, it is advisable to do whatever is possible to keep from being smashed by the business end of said hammer. And do it fast, because he's quicker than he looks. He keeps a longsword and a great, round shield on hand for when more defensive fighting is in order. His armor is what is known as half-plate, which consists of a suit of chain mail, with vital areas reinforced with thick steel plates. It grants him greater mobility than a full suit of plate armor, and it has served him well, which can be seen through the many scratches and blows it has taken over the years.
