Rick Govitti was born to an impoverished family in New York City. He spent most of his time playing with his five brothers and sister, all who where younger than he was. His Father was a factory worker, his mother a maid at a local hotel. During his teen years he found him self in trouble with the law. During a high school prank gone wrong, he was caught by a police officer who had been passing by the scene of the crime. Facing time in a juvenile detention center, he was given two options. The first being that he served his time in juvenile prison or since he was 17 years old he could enlist in the military (a suggestion by his parents). Given those two options, he chose the military.
Enlisting and being shipped off to boot camp, Rick would never have thought he would find out his true calling during those eight weeks. After graduating boot camp he was offered an officer's commission due to his high ASVAB score. Accepting, he was sent to a university under a full scholarship. He received a bachelorβs in Criminal Justice and a minor in history.
During his twenty years in the US armed forces, he served in the Army Rangers as a communications officer, a field agent for military intelligence, and a double agent working undercover in a paramilitary group in South America.
Two months ago he retired, serving a full twenty years. He now receives a hefty pension and full living expenses. To keep him self busy, he spends his free time traveling around the world and selling his services.
