Seph trained in the Obsidian Arena on Regis, in preperation for either life in the wastes or life in the Regis Planetary guard.
Hes a well built figure, having spent all his life in a very rigourous regime, and was sharp as a flute. he had to be if he had any chance at reaching those ranks.
Life on Regis had made seph tougher than alot of people and not just physically.
He is 29 years old
Blonde hair
Blue eyes.
Trained in Martial Arts, Weaponry if it had a trigger, he could shoot it and if it had a point he saw it could be thrust into one of the weak points in the human or indeed alien body.

So begins...
Seph's Story

Seph looked at the lights shining in the windows, the last time he was here, there was nothing but a building site here, he looked up to see the sign 'Newton's Cradle' " So this is that place?'' He was moderately impressed, the architecture was done to a good standard, it wasn't an eyesore thats for sure. He walked inside.
Upon entering he caught the smell of freshly cut soft wood mixed with the smell of hard liquor, they went together rather pleasantly.
''Would you like ice with that?'' he heard a female voice ask. Female, bar staff, perhaps the owner.
He looked around the room to see two girls sitting in one booth and two other women casually interacting.
"Well in that case, i guess i'll have to have a drink." he sasked of the lady making the drinks, she had brown hair and dark eyes that he thought quite suited the joint.
His heavy boots sounded on the freshly laid floor, in those were tucked a baggy set of excercise trousers He clearly liked to be agile.
His blonde hair framed his blue eyes quite nicely and his teeshirt wasnt baggy enough to hide his broad frame underneath.
"Evening love, he said to the woman rushing around?"
"Ill take a cocktail please if you dont mind, see if this place is as good as they expected." he smiled mischieviously at her before answering her stare.
"Its Seph" he offered quickly assuming her unspoken words.

" Well maybe the Arcanum could help you? its a big place full of knowledgable people, It's where i would go." She paused a moment listening to Vanessa offer her name. " Ahh yes, where are my manners, I'm Newton, and Archon Security, we could do with a few of you around here." she joked half heartedly. It was true .. a whole spacecraft of security is what this planet could use but she doubted anyone would be able to afford such a proffessional.
Newton Watched as the blonde haired figure walked in through the door, she didnt have time to say anything before he started talking. Caught quite off guard by his comments, she recomposed herself to at least make the cocktail he ordered.

"If you're serious about that statement, I could make an offer," Vanessa smirked, before she took a sip of her drink. She ignored the new arrival, on the basis that she wasn't going to "engage unless engaged", so to speak. "My company offers a wide variety of services."
"Well well, thats not half bad, Seal of approval from me, but who do i make the seal out to?" he said coyly, clearly trying to get her name.
He looked down the bar to see Vanessa sitting there drinking a whisky, " Ahh a lady of good tastes, although i can't say i recognise the weapon, Private sector are we?'' he said curiously. He knew about weapons, hed been trained in the Obsidian Arena for the majority of his life in most major forms of combat and weaponry, he was far from an expert in all of them but he knew things.

Vanessa glanced at Seph, before she pulled the pistol out of its retention holster, unloaded the magazine, and ejected the round from the chamber. "Smith and Wesson, forty caliber. And yes, I am private sector," she said before she put a business card before Newton.
Vanessa then handed the empty pistol to Seph. "Take a look, dunno what people 'round these parts use for weapons, but I feel like I might be outmatched regardless."

"Well the Planetary Guard do their best, but they dont meddle in private affairs, Security around the inn would be good, what with the amount of diversity in our culture, Arms and abilities. I'd hate to turn this into a job interview though Vanessa, perhaps you could come by sometime tomorrow? i could put you up for the night in return?"
Newton eyed Seph curiously... smiling softly before saying in a clearly humorous manner, "Hey dumbass, my names on the sign" she winked at him, before disappearing into the kitchen leaving the two of them to converse.

Seph took the weapon and checked it was unloaded, after flipping it around and looking at it from what seemed like every angle he returned his gaze to Vanessa. ''Clearly a 40 calibre but i havent heard of these being used in years. Its an impressive weapon, could cause a serious headache. Well Vanessa seeing as you handed it over of free will, i doubt you had any intentions to use it, i would ask however you leave the safety on, if you decide to reload it." He went to hand it back, but before he let go, he leaned in to get a better look at Vanessa, "ohh look it goes with your eyes." he smiled cheekily before letting go of the weapon.
"So what is private Sector doing here?" he asked whilst thinking, "Of course looking for work. Had much experience?" he asked intrigued.

"Not sure if you're familiar with the goings on of a little rock called Earth, but yeah. My company's been in the game for about a decade now. Since twenty fifty two. Dad started it, I helped when I was of age, now here I am," she reloaded and holstered the weapon. "High value target defense, asset recovery, counter terror operations. Everything from exoskeletons to cybernetics, all the way up to non nuclear high damage destructive devices. Trust me, we know what we're doing. A gig like this little inn would be nothing. Don't wanna drain the woman of her funds, that's not the game I play. Not like other corps."
"Thats admirable, and quite a resume you hold, only thing i don't approve of is you stealing young mens hearts," He clearly didnt mean anything by it, it just brought him joy to tease her. "Well if you are going to be working here, then i may have to visit more regularly," he continued beginning to get the feeling that this place could be a big asset to Regis's economy.
He sipped his drink and decided to sit down in one of the booths, unintentionally choosing a booth he could overhear the two girls in.
" So are you going to join me or do i have to buy you a drink first?" he said it with such grace and such ease, that one may be forgiven for thinking it wasnt flirting. but it was, and why not? she looked good in uniform.

"Yeah, one second," she said to Seph, before she looked for Newton. "Miss Newton? I'd actually like to discuss terms now, if that's okay. I want to be able to do prep work back home if this is gonna happen."

"Well i'm looking for someone who can be on hand, and able to deal with troublemakers whether this be magical, verbal or physical stress on my patrons." She wrote down a number on a piece of paper. "I can offer this amount a year, plus a room and three meals a day." She hoped it was enough, she knew these private sector operatives were expensive, and she knew, worst case scenario she could go ask around in the Arena, but no, Vanessa seemed nice, and she'd much rather have a female around the place. "I may be able to offer shifts behind the bar also, if that suits you." She said inquisitively, trying to gauge a reaction.

"Don't worry about cash. This one is on me, I won't mince words, my personnel aren't equipped for magic, so I hope they'll listen to reason," she chuckled nervously. "I can give you two to three guys. Cybernetically enhanced so they can either intimidate troublemakers or take them down as needed. Could give you a non-augmented as a bartender if you see the need. All I ask in return is that if people ask who these guys are...tell the truth. That, and for you provide housing and food for them, if they're gonna be here. Sound good?"
Newton couldn't believe her luck, three private personel of her own for less than she'd offered. "How can i refuse?" she said delightedly. She ran around the bar and gave Vanessa a hug, which was probably a little unproffesional, but she was overwhelmed with the way things had just fallen into place. " Thank you so much, you'll come visit too i hope?" she asked. As for the bartender i think i'll make do, i've seen the life of some around here and i know how much a job like this would mean to someone who was once in my shoes, that is of course if you dont mind?"
"Of course I'll come to visit. I'm not leaving yet, either. I have that new friend of ours to tend to as well. I'll have my people report in tomorrow for a meet and greet, okay?" She kissed Newton on the cheek with a smile. "Don't worry about acting professional around me. I just needed to gauge the crowd, so to speak. Ciao."
She walked over to Seph with a smile. "Well there's my first inter-universe contract."

Seph looked at the two females now hugging each other, well it can't really be described as hugging when just one of them was doing it. " I'll take one of those to, if you are offering," Seph said, a smile laced with amusement littering his face and catching the eyes of the brunette.
"Newton right?" he continued as if he had finally figured out the answer to her name, when of course he knew it all along.

Newton blushed a bit as the woman kissed her on the cheek. and nodded along in agreement to all she had to say. "I look forward to it." She looked over at Seph and rolled her eyes again in mock patronisation. before walking off behind the bar overmuttering the word... "Dumbass."
Seph laughed catching the humour in Newtons actions, but diverted his attention to the soldier who was now sitting across from him. " First huh? thats not experienced at all" he leant back into the seat,and chuckled again, he seemed to laugh alot when he was relaxed.
" But you aren't working here, thats the only part that confuses me. You like her." he pointed off to the bar. " I'm guessing what she offered you was decent? otherwise how would she be able to afford a place like this. You know speaking of which, this is the first comfy seat i've sat on in months!" he looked outraged at the notion. " So why didn't you take her up on it?"

"Simple," Vanessa said as she leaned back in the seat and sipped her whiskey. "Because it allows me to gauge what happens from here on out, gives me eyes on whatever decides to waltz on in here, and, like the proper businesswoman I am, I'll charge for extra services. Consider this a complimentary act as a friend. Anything else won't be for free, because I still need to run a business. Is that callous? I would think not."
Seph glanced athe commotion, seeing the two girls hed noticed earlier fighting on the floor. One winked at him and he smiled back.
"Yep, you haven't lost it Seph " he laughed loudly and waved back.
Seph listened intently to her words, "Well i guess not as long as you don't start looking for trouble. A move like that could land you a one-way ticket to the Stone Towers." his face became serious at that point, which was saying something considering his general demeanour.
