Simon Keane huffed, tapping his fingers on the wheel. "I still don't see why I have to just be the damn chauffeur. Just because I can't make things explode, or kill things in abnormal manners..." the man murmured irritably, putting the van into gear and driving off toward the WCPD Station.

Closer by in the station, but also technically elsewhere...

Simon Keane was approaching the corridor in which Izumi was being questioned. Sonya had requested a second officer to help her with the questioning, and that was the role Simon was taking. The idea was that the SOD Agents would collaborate after the first round of questions to decide on a tactic, and so it was to that end that Simon was making his way along the corridor, moving past Kazen and the driver's room in time to see the other door burst open, and gunfire begin to erupt.

Simon swore, and moved forwards, taking the handgun from his holster and levelling it at the doorway, moving forwards to fire several shots at Motoko, while shouting at the top of his voice.

"We're under attack! Someone get Katy, I repeat, someone is trying to bust the suspects out!"

As the shape that was shooting became blurry, Simon frowned. Being a metahuman had its benefits, however, and Simon's eyes flickered. Swapping through several types of vision, eventually Simon reached a variety that could easily see Motoko -- whether that was thermal vision, or x-ray vision that would be blocked by the metal of Motoko's body, the author didn't know, but Simon did.

Now easily able to see Motoko, Simon took cover at the door, and continued to fire on her.
