Sophie Harte

A young woman, with no remarkable feats nor background to her name. The most dangerous thing she has become involved in is a brief period of drug use, and minor bouts of depression.
No, really. That's it.
Description

ImageName: Sophie Harte
Age: 19
DOB: 25th May 1991
Gender: Female
Occupation: Book Store Employee
Relationships: Friends with Migel, Iante Clowes, Kei Izanagi, Elmindreda Damodred, Tommy whateverhissurnameis, and Kai Paendrag.

Height: 5' 6"
Weight: 131lbs
Overall Appearance: Sophie is a pretty young woman, with long light blonde hair that falls to the small of her back, around delicate features and striking green eyes. She is a petit girl, both in height and in build, and is very slim as well as quite short. She is quite conscious of her appearance, and spends a long time every day doing her best to make sure she looks good, even if she can't afford expensive cosmetics or extravagant clothing. Her favourite outfit is a strapless red silk dress, that she wears only on special occasions, the rest of the time wearing either smart clothing for work, or generic casual clothing.

Personality: While in most ways Sophie is a nice girl, who helps out her friends when she can, a lot of the time she can be quite petty, holding a grudge over the slightest thing and being honestly quite spiteful about disagreements, with a vicious tongue and little restraint about her ways in an argument. As long as you stay on her good side, however, she is pleasant company, and has a good sense of humour. Sophie is confident around both friends and strangers, and is unafraid of approaching people she has not met in an attempt to attain conversation. She is a big fan of movies, chocolate (she has quite the sweet tooth) and music (most genres, though predominantly the more quirky artists such as Lady Gaga and Emilie Autumn - regardless of their obviously entirely different genres). In contrast, she absolutely despises insects, and finds it hard to like those who are either overly arrogant or overly nice - "Life's not all kittens and fluff, nitwits, one of these days, bam, you're stabbed by a drunkard you're trying to help up, or something similarly ironic."

Skills and Talents:
 • Well organised.
 • A remarkably good driver when the need arises.
 • Able to run quite fast away from danger.

Equipment:
 • Phone, keys, purse, make-up, handbag.. etc.
 • Mace. The spray, not the spiked metal stick.
 • An average civilian pistol, that she detests but carries out of a level of paranoia. Only understandable within Wing City, really.

So begins...

Sophie Harte pushed open the door of the bar and walked inside, casting green eyes about the room to briefly glance over the patrons. Yeah... definitely as odd as everywhere else in the city. More so, perhaps. But it was no matter. Sophie wanted a drink, and a drink she would get, ominous skeletal beings hugging apparently suicidal young women or nay.

Approaching the counter, the blonde young woman smiled briefly to the tender. "A gin and tonic, please." she said, passing the appropriate coinage over to the man before settling herself on a barstool. Her eyes followed a large cat that appeared to be chasing a ball around. Who brought their cat to a bar, anyway?

It was typical of Sophie that this would be what vexed her, rather than, say, the aforementioned skeleton.

Sophie Harte took out a small book and began to read, and would continue to do so unless approached.

Sophie Harte looked up from her book, raising an eyebrow at the woman that had taken a seat at the counter nearby, Vodka. She followed the woman's gaze to a remarkably young child, and raised her brow further. A bar full of drunkards, most of which carried some form of weaponry, was no place for such a young boy. The frenchwoman was quite right.

Sophie Harte was surprised at the child's obedience, and indeed at his speed of disappearance. "Never will get used to people doing that..." she muttered, shaking her head.

The young woman looked to Railynn with a half-smile when she appeared. "Whatever you're feeding him, I want some -- if my damn cousins were that easy to tell what to do, I would be as happy as a virgin at a year eleven ball."

Sophie Harte blinked. "Equally, I hope that if I ever have kids, they don't turn into wolves half the time. I mean, potty training a toddler is hard enough, but a wolf-cub? Jesus, my house would smell of piss for months!" she said, making a face.

"Not that I have a house, mind. But this being in a scenario where I have kids, I'm assuming house."

Sophie Harte glanced at Jane. "A toddler? Uh..." she said, taken aback by the odd question. "Well the clue is in the name. Small child, that... toddles. Generally around two to three years old? I don't know exactly..."

Sophie Harte raised an eyebrow. "Not me personally, I take precautions against that. I'm far too young, pretty, and poor for kids right now. But as far as humanity goes, yeah."

Sophie Harte laughed. "Mean's I ain't got a lot o' cash. I'm strapped for it, broke. I have very little money, in layman's terms."

Sophie Harte blinked, taking the money with something of a shocked expression. "I, oh.. wow, thanks." she said, glancing down at the notes. "Really, wow, thanks!"

Sophie Harte wandered into the bar, looking bored and entirely uninterested in, well, life in general. Not in a suicidal way, mind, just in a way that suggested that if life decided to up its game a bit, it would be appreciated.

"G and T, please and thank you." she said, inclining her head to the bartender once she approached the counter.

Sophie Harte glanced over at Fred, raising an amused eyebrow. The girl sipped at her drink, whistling idly. Oh, she loved to watch domestics. It was like TV without having to pay for the TV. Something which she couldn't do, right now... rice was about her budget limit at the moment.

Sophie Harte simply laughed at Fred, before wandering from the bar in a manner that entirely suggested she was leaving because she felt like it. Not because she realised that she had left her bag at work. Nope, definitely not that.

Sophie Harte went through a similar epiphany, but rather than being caused by a flashback, it was caused by having drunk a little bit too much wine.

"Oops..."
