Description
"The Fish" as she calls herself generally answers to any name, though her true name is impossible for any verbal pronunciation, as it is roughly the sound of a particular wavelength of light [blue-white]. The Fish tends to be upbeat and highly curious, almost to the point of childishness, and likes cute things in particular. She is generally benevolent, and rarely remembers that violence exists, and never thinks of it to be an option for her own behavior. She has a hard time grasping certain ideas, such as lies, hatred, and strife, and sometimes seems to make light of serious situations.
Physical description: An aquatic humanoid, with smooth hairless skin in a aquamarine hue, and golden eyes with slitted pupils. Her hair is a orchid, though it seems to shift color slightly depending on her diet. She has a finned tail, like that of a fish, and digigrade legs with taloned feet. She stands at only 1.6 meters (about five feet), and has an average human female build. Her She favors red and orange clothing, usually with hoods, scarves, and fingerless gloves, but never wears any sort of footwear.
Equipment & Abilities: Generally, Fish is only able to "fold space". This means that she must physically grab the edges of actual space and matter in order to manipulate things. This is easily interrupted and is used mostly for travel. Her abilities are not a type of magic, but rather work on force of will and are similar to chi-based abilities. She seems to carry things in a pocket dimension, which is...in her pocket. While it is generally filled with miscellaneous items, such as bits of string, duct tape, magic 8-balls, and other things, she doesn't carry weapons or money aside from the stray coin that caught her fancy. She also carries a large extensive wardrobe, and a seemingly infinite food store consisting mainly of shellfish.
Species: Though without a true name to the species, these space dwelling creatures call themselves "space piranhas" though biologically, they're closer to catfish. In appearance they are aquatic in nature, though they are not required to breathe water, or even to breathe at all. Skin tones tend to keep to cool colors, though their "hair" actually a cluster of pressure-sensing whiskers, is clear, instead being colored by individual diet. As they age they become less attached to the fourth plane of existence, and move outside of perceivable space/time, and take on a less physical form. Able to survive in any environment, and able to manipulate reality to allow them ease of travel, space piranhas are known for their ability to fabricate entire solar systems. Their society is highly speculated to be rigid in structure, despite the casual manner in which they display themselves to 'lesser beings'. Space piranhas tend to avoid large changes in space/time, as it is impossible to know who changed what and when, resulting in a strong possibility of accidentally causing one's self to cease existing. Not truly invincible, a space piranha is only as powerful as his or her own belief.
Historical Background: The Fish is young by her species' standards, but considering that they are practically demigods, she would seem old by human standards. This being said, she has traveled a long way, visiting different universes and studying their content and make-up. Fish was born as all her kind are, hatched from an egg left by unknown parents. She grew up in the hatcheries, within its own nebula-like universe, where time and space were held together by what seemed like spider silk. She was average within her kind, and grasped the ability to sidestep though realities, as one would step though a door. Much of her adolescence was spent in a particular universe, where she interacted with various mortal beings, and even built a few solar systems from spare matter. She moved on later, to new universes, most recently visiting ones that appeared to be large red and blue frogs. Most of her time was spent simply observing, having cataloged all information that she had learned from the many beings she had spoken with. She has yet to deal with malevolent forces, unwittingly having avoided anyone that would mean her any sort of harm.
