So begins...
The Mystic's Story
The Mystic appears in the middle of the bar in a bright flash of lightning, casting an imposing shadow as his robed form appears.... several feet in the air. "Ach nein!" he cried, as he fell from his dramatic pose to land in a crumpled heap on the floor "Vhy does zat always happen! Is there some sort of anti-teleport field around ze damn floor here?" he exclaimed angrily from his heap, before pulling himself to his feet and bumbling over to the bar counter, muttering all the way from within his hood.
The Mystic turned to Vexar, raising his eyebrows "Hmm, at least you don't manage to cause as much of a scene. Not zat I zhink anyone here really notices zat kind of thing, to absorbed wit zhere hugging and kissing. Pah! All nonsense waste of time kinds of zhing."
The Mystic chuckled heartily, nodding "Vell an entrance is important is it not? It is somezhing for people to base zhere initial judgements of you on. I haven't quite managed 'imposing and fearful' yet, I'm still stuck around ze 'bumbling' stage of zhings. Somevat unfortunate." he said, before shrugging "I suppose ve live and learn zho, move on and all of zhat wise man nonsense things."

The Mystic nodded with a half sigh, before looking up with a scowl "I am no Miss, madam robot! I know zhe robes are somevat concealing, but please look more closely next time!" he muttered angrily "As for a drink I vill take a simple ale. Nozhing fancy."
The Mystic nodded briskly "No matter." he muttered, shaking his head before taking a gulp of the ale. It wasn't amazing, but it would do, he was rather fussy after all, this was likely fine ale, just not quite as fine as he was used to.
The Mystic walked in through the door of the bar, muttering under his breath about 'doors being more reliable' and 'anti-teleport flooring' "Sometimes I vonder if all ze world is collaborating on a project wiz ze name of 'Anti-Kastner 101'" he muttered as he entered, glaring straight ahead of him
The Mystic looked up with a start "Vat? Who? Ah! Legion!" he exclaimed, instantly brightening up "Vat can I do for you my friend? Any particular reason you are sitting in a pool of blood, or is zat some fashion I am unaware of hmm?"
The Mystic chuckled to himself, entirely blase about the dripping wound on his friend "Ah, demon hunters are so very zealous about zeir work, if zey only took the time to find that some demons actually make for quite pleasant conversation. Zho zey are a drain on one's time vhen it comes to bailing zem out, hmm?"
The Mystic cracked his knuckles and looked down at Legion's wound, tapping his fingers on his chin "Indeed, I have just ze thing, bare with me one moment." he said, before raising his hands and making a complex series of gestures around the wound, forming a twenty seven pointed star around it "Now, zhis is somevat experimental... a little spell of my own devices, so if your leg begins to go numb or do anything like fall off, do tell me." he commented as he wove a complex web around the star, before muttering an incantation under his breath involving lots of long words. As he did so, the wound began to knit itself back together - without the usual drain on Legion's energy that would accompany traditional healing.
The Mystic waved a hand dismissively at Legion "Pah, I have no time for such nonsense. I shall tell you vhat I told Geddes, send a pupil or two my way every so often if you want, but I vill not subject myself to ze limitations of a career of doing so." he muttered. "As for vhy I am here, I often visit zhis bar, I find a lot of interesting things can be found here, a lot of unusual creatures and magics to study. I have learned of at least twelve variations of magic in the last month, twelve! You must meet my friend Alanna, she is very knowledgeable of her part of zhe universe, I have learned quite a lot from her myself..."
The Mystic chuckled "Zis could take some explaining, so do get comfortable" he said, clearing his throat
The Mystic "Alanna does not practice magic in zhe same way we do, her magic involves no incantations, arm gestures, markings, or anything of ze sort. She wields a magic known as 'Ze True Source', an ever present, universal power. Zis True Source is split into five different elements, Fire, Wind, Water, Air and Spirit, each can be woven by a man or woman who can channel. Zere is a male and a female half to ze True Source, Saidin and Saidar respectively, and only a woman can channel Saidar and a man Saidin. Once one embraces the source, zeir senses are heightened and zey are filled with a feeling of joy and life, and can weave threads of each part of ze power to effects ranging from fireballs to healing. It is really a razher broad subject to cover."

The Mystic appeared in the bar in a flash of magical lightning, his robe swirling around him as he stepped onto the floorboards, crackling with energy. After a brief pause, he clapped his hands together "Huzzah! It vas a success! I have overcome ze difficulty of teleportation in zis area!"
The Mystic gathered his robes about himself, and glanced around "Vell, I zink it is time to do a little exploring..."
The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Side Alley
The Mystic walked out of Gambit's bar, glancing left and right as he entered the side alley "Ack, vat a nasty little alleyvay zhis is..."
